Chinese Journal of Biochemical Pharmaceutics 2015;(12):32-35
Objective To explore the regulation role and expression level of thymosin for Th1/Th2 and T-bet , GATA-3 in asthma model rats respectively. Methods 60 SPF grade male rats (6-8w) were randomly divided into six groups:control group, asthma model group, dexamethasone (0.5 mg/kg) group, thymosin high dose group (5 mg/kg), thymosin middle dose group(2.5 mg/kg), thymosin low dose group (1.25 mg/kg).The asthma model was constructed with ovalbumin. The rat in the control group and asthma model group were injected with normal saline by intraperitoneal , while other rats were injected with corresponding drugs. Then the concentration of IL-4 and IFN-γin the serum of rats were tested by the method of enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) and the protein expression level of GATA-3 and T-bet factor in the lung tissue were tested by immunohistochemistry in each group. Results The concentration of IL-4 in the serum was higher and IFN-γwas lower in the asthma model group than the other groups , while the protein expression level of GATA-3 was higher and T-bet was lower in the asthma model group than the other groups ( all P <0.05 ) . Conclusion Thymosin upregulation of IFN-γand inhibition of IL-4 may be achieved by upregulating T-bet and downregulating GATA-3, and thymosin has therapeutic effect on asthma rats.
2.Progress in the research of tumor lymphangiogenesis
China Oncology 2001;0(05):-
Lymphatic vessels are important for the spread of solid tumors, and recent researches indicated that lymphangiogenic factors(VEGF C and VEGF D)could stimulate lymphangiogenesis in tumors by activating their receptors on the lymphatic endothelial cells, then enhance the incidence of lymph node metastasis. In addition, inhibition of VEGFR 3 signaling could suppress tumor lymphangiogenesis and metastasis to lymph nodes, thus, inhibition of lymphangiogenesis can be expected to be a new method of blocking tumor metastasis.

4.Absorption of Radioiodinated Nerve Growth Factor in Hypoxic Neonatal Rats Brain
Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2004;0(11):-
Objective To observe absorption of exogenous nerve growth factor(NGF) between normal newborn rats and newborn rats with hypoxidosis. Methods Thirty-two healthy newborn rats(7 days of age) were divided into experiment group and normal group.Experiment rats were made into hypoxic-ischemic brain damage(HIBD) model.NGF labeled with()~(125)I or()~(125)I was injected into the rats abdominant. All of the rats were killed and brain was removed after 30 minutes. The brain was dissected into basal forebrain, forehead cortex, hippocampus, thalamus, cerebellum, smellorb, pituitary tissue samples were assayed for radioactivity in a two-channel gamma counter. Results Absorptions of two groups(()~(125)I-NGF) were significantly higher than those of()~(125)I in basal forebrain, cortex, hippocampus, cerebellum.Absorptions of hypoxic group were significantly higher than those of control group in cortex, hippocampus, cerebellum. Conclusions NGF can penertrate blood brain barrier of newborn rats into brain regions by means of peripheral administration.Early application of NGF for treating hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE) is feasible.
5.Explore the full thick layer of corneal transplantation in the treatment of pseudomonas aeruginosa corneal ulcer infection
International Eye Science 2015;(2):323-325
To explore the feasibility, safety and effect of the full-thickness lamellar keratoplasty for the treatment of pseudomonas aeruginosa corneal ulcer.METHODS: Based on a retrospective non-controlled study, 25 patients were given the full-thickness lamellar keratoplasty for clinical diagnosis of pseudomonas aeruginosa infection and corneal ulcer medication conventional anti-gram-negative bacteria. Routine follow-up were carried out at postoperative 1wk; 1, 3, 6, 12, 18mo to observe the situation of corneal epithelial healing, recurrent infection, immune rejection, graft transparency and best corrected visual acuity, etc. At the 6 and 12mo postoperative, corneal endothelial cell density was reexamined. RESULTS: No patients because of Descemet's membrane rupture underwent penetrating keratoplasty surgery: One only in cases of bacterial infection after 1mo, once again did not cultivate a culture of bacteria pseudomonas aeruginosa, and the remaining 24 cases average follow - up 14 ± 6mo, corneal graft were transparent, the cure rate was 96%. At the sixth month after surgery, there were 16 cases of eye surgery best corrected visual acuity ≥4. 5, of which 3 cases ≥4. 8. At the sixth month after surgery, the average corneal endothelial cell density 2 425 ± 278/mm2; At 12mo postoperatively, it was 2257± 326/mm2.CONCLUSlON: Full-thickness lamellar keratoplasty is an effective method of pseudomonas aeruginosa infection in the treatment of corneal ulcers, corneal drying material glycerol can be achieved by visual effects.
6.Comparison of accommodative lag between rigid gas permeable contact lens and spectacles in adolescents after 1 year
International Eye Science 2015;(5):924-927
?AlM: To discuss the differences in accommodative lag of different stimulation between the adolescent myopes who wore rigid gas permeable contact lens ( RGPCL ) and spectacles for one year.
?METHODS: Totally 85 myopes between 10-16y were enrolled in the study. Every subject was examined with the visual function test, medical optometry, corneal topography and ocular health check etc. of eyes. According to the above measurements and the compliance of children and their parents, 41 subjects were selected to wear RGPCL, 44 subjects were chosen to wear spectacles. Based on maximum plus to maximum visual acuity ( MPMVA) , accommodative lag was determined by dynamic retinoscopy method in two groups. The subjects were examined once every 3mo, accommodative lag was measured again using the same method for comparative analysis after one year. Wearing a year later, myopia progression of the two groups was measured and compared.
?RESULTS: There was no significant difference between two groups of initial accommodative lag (P>0. 05). After wearing one year, there was also no significant difference between the accommodative lag examined and the initial lag in RGPCL group (P>0. 05), the results demonstrate significant difference between the accommodative lag examined after wearing one year and the initial lag in spectacles group ( P < 0. 05 ). One year later, the differences were significant in accommodative lag between RGPCL and spectacles wearers stimulated by 2D, 3D and 4D ( P < 0. 05 ), and the accommodative lag increased with increasing stimulation in both groups. After wearing a year, the myopia progression of RGPCL group was less than spectacles wearers, and the differences were significant (P<0. 05).
?CONCLUSlON:After wearing RGPCL and spectacles one year in high accommodative stimulus, there is an obviously decreased in accommodative lag in RGPCL group, which suggests that RGPCL can control the progression of myopia in adolescents. The accommodative lag of the two groups increase obviously with increasing stimulation, which suggest that the adolescents need keeping good habits of reading.
