Objective To investigate the role of the extended-care in improving the compliance with low-salt diet in elderly patients with hypertension.Methods We selected 100 cases of elderly patients with hypertension in hospital.The 100 cases were divided into control group (50 cases) and observation group (50 cases) randomly.Observation group was given comprehensive intervention in low-salt diet education and control group was given traditional low-salt diet education.Tow groups were divided into three stages (on the day of admission,seven days after admission,one month after discharge).We analyzed low-salt cognitive scores,low-salt behavioral scores and salt-intake/d comparably.Results On the day of admission,tow groups had no statistically significant difference (P＞0.05) in low-salt cognitive scores,low-salt behavioral scores and salt-intake/d;seven days after admission,tow groups had statistically significant difforence (P＜0.05) in low-salt cognitive scores,low-salt behavioral scores and salt-intake/d;one month after discharge,tow groups had statistically significant difference (P＜0.05) in low-salt cognitive scores,low-salt behavioral scores and salt-intake/d.Conclusion We use comprehensive intervention method to elderly patients with hypertension in low-salt diet education,through personalized low-salt diet education following evidence-based nursing,we can increase the compliance with low-salt diet in elderly patients with hypertension after discharge and improve blood pressure control effectively and to promote the image of the hospital and achieve the higher satisfaction from patients and families.

Objective To study the curative efficacy of arthroscopic debridement in the management of osteoarthritis of the knee. Methods A retrospective analysis was made on clinical records of 44 cases of knee osteoarthritis (62 knee joints) treated with arthroscopic debridement. Results All the patients were followed for 2~2.5 years. The rates of excellent or good results were 85.5% (53/62) at 6 months after the surgery, 77.4% (48/62) at 1 year after the surgery, and 66.1% (41/62) at 2 years, respectively. The curative results were significantly worse at 2 years after the surgery than at 6 months ( ? 2=6.332, P =0.012). Conclusions Arthroscopic debridement is effective for the relief of painful and swollen knee joint, and postpones the appearance of articular cartilage degeneration. The efficacy of the treatment is apparent in mild cases, but the treatment will be less effective as time goes on.

Background:Galectin-3 is a member of the galectin family that participates in a variety of physiological and pathological events including cell growth and apoptosis,cell adhesion,angiogenesis,as well as tumor invasion and metastasis,and has been reported to be overexpressed in many human cancers.Aims:To investigate the effect of galactin-3 targeted RNA interference on proliferation,apoptosis and chemosensitivity of human gastric cancer cell line SGC-7901. Methods:Galectin-3 targeted siRNA was constructed and transfected into SGC-7901 cells.Efficacy of RNA interference was evaluated by real time PCR and Western blotting,while cell proliferation was assessed by CCK-8 assay and cell apoptosis by flow cytometry.Results:The transfection efficiency at 24 hours after transfection was 83.8%;expression of galectin-3 in SGC-7901 cells was significantly inhibited at mRNA and protein levels with a decreasing of 87.8% and 90.4%,respectively (P <0.01).Proliferation inhibition rates of SGC-7901 cells in galectin-3 siRNA group at 24,48 and 72 hours after transfection were 15.57% ±1.45%,32.90% ±0.76% and 57.35% ±1.05%,respectively,and the apoptosis rate at 72 hours after transfection was 46.17% ±2.39%;all were significantly higher than those in blank control,liposome control and negative siRNA control groups at the same time points (P <0.01).Proliferation inhibition of SGC-7901 cells induced by oxaliplatin,a chemotherapeutic agent,was also markedly increased in galectin-3 siRNA group (P <0.01).Conclusions:Expression of galectin-3 in SGC-7901 cells can be inhibited successfully by RNA interference;cell proliferation is decreased,cell apoptosis is increased and sensitivity to chemotherapeutic agent is augmented,which indicates that galectin-3 is a promising target for gastric cancer gene therapy.

Objective To investigate the antitumour effects of transfected gut-enriched Krüppellike factor(GKLF) on human gastric carcinoma cell line SGC-7901 in vitro and in vivo. Methods The expression of GKLF mRNA and protein in human gastric carcinoma cell line SGC-7901 were detected before and after transfection by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR and Western blot,respectively. Proliferation and invasion in SGC-7901 were measured respectively by MTT assay, flow cytometry, colony formation assay and cell invasion assay after transfected with GKLF. The growth of xenograft was observed, the microvessel density(MVD) of xenograft tissue was determined by immunohistochemistry. Results The GKLF mRNA and protein in SGC-7901 were overexpressed after transfected with GKLF(P＜0.05). The proliferative speed of SGC7901-pcDNA3.1-GKLF group was markedly lower than that of SGC-7901 and SGC7901-pcDNA3.1 groups (P＜0.05). Transfected with GKLF caused part of the G0/G1 arrest, decreased clone formation rate and the invasion ability (P＜0.05). The growth speed of xenograft in SGC7901-pcDNA3.1-GKLF group was lower, the weight and MVD of xenograft tissue in SGC7901-pcDNA3. 1-GKLF group were less (P＜ 0. 05).Conclusion Transfected with GKLF maysuppress proliferation and invasion in human gastric carcinoma cell line SGC-7901, inhibit the growth and the angiogenesis of xenograft in nude mice.

Objective To assess the clinical application value of single-source dual energy CT(SSDE),by measuring the multi-slice CT(MSCT) and single-source dual energy CT(SSDE) lower limb fractures image noise and contrast noise ratio(CNR),comparing the difference in the radiation dosage.Methods 39 cases of lower extremity fractures by clinical diagnosis were included in the study.Preoperation or postoperation the patients underwent MSCT scans,postoperation or postoperative follow-up SSDE CT scans were conducted,two sets of images were achieved.We measured and compared conventional CT group with 130 key energy spectrum group (prior studies showed the elimination of metal artifacts,images,subjective scoring the highest photon energy level) no significant artifacts cancellous bone area,compared the image background noise and contrast noise ratio (CNR),and radiation dosage,using paired sample t-test.Results Two sets of data for the same patient before and after surgery or after review of images,which body mass index (BMI) was negligible.The CTDIvol value of the conventional MSCT was (7.94 ± 1.69) mGy,the dual-energy CT was (7.04 ± 0.97) mGy,with significant difference (t =2.71,P ＜ 0.05) ; The image noise of the conventional MSCT was (44.36 ± 15.66) Hu,the dual-energy CT was (15.04 ± 8.23) Hu,with significant difference (t =15.26,P ＜ 0.05) ; The CNR of the conventional MSCT was (3.96 ± 1.78),the dual-energy CT was (4.62 ± 2.80),with significant difference (t =-2.14,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Compared with conventional MSCT,single source dual-energy CT imaging provides improved image CNR,obviously eliminate metal artifacts,to better show the complex structure for lower limb fracture surgery,and reduction in radiation dosage.

Objective To investigate MR findings of acute thigh muscle strains in male football athletes.Methods Twenty five thighs of 21 football athletes with acute muscle strains were analyzed retrospectively.All subjects were examined with MR unit.The anatomical location,size,severity,signal features of the acute strained muscles were analyzed by two experienced radiologists based on MR images.Results There were 32 muscles involved totally,including 1 9 hamstring muscles,5 adductor muscles,7 quadriceps femoris,and 1 sartorius muscle.18 muscles were MR grade 1 injuries,14 of grade 2,and these was no grade 3 injuries.Conclusion Thigh muscle injury of football athletes most frequently involved the hamstring muscle,and MR is an effective tool for detecting acute muscle strains of the thigh.

Objective To investigate the difference between nodular gastritis and atrophy gastritis.Methods During 2004.4～2005.3, the clinical, endoscopic and pathological findings of nodular gastritis and atrophy gastritis were analysed.Results Nodular gastritis is usually classified as nodular type A(nodular gastritis) and type B(atrophic gastritis with nodular changes). The endoscopic appearance of nodular gastritis was characterized as uniform miliary pattern and predominantly affected young women. The incidence of dyspeptic symptom was higher in patients with nodular gastritis than in atrophy gastritis. Nodular gastritis in adults is caused by Helicobacter pylori infection. Antral biopsy specimens showed lymphoid follicle formation and/or marked lymphoid aggregates. The prevalence of lymphoid follicle formation in the antrum was higher in patients with nodular gastritis than atrophy gastritis. Moderate to severe atrophy gastritis also usually has the same nodular endoscopic appearance,but that is not uniform and intensive.Conclusion Nodular gastritis is a very special gastritis with Helicobacter pylori infection and is different from atrophy gastritis.It is worth to be noticed.

AIM:To study and compare the outcomes of coaxial 2. 2 mm phacoemulsiflcation with conventional coaxial 3 mm small-incision cataract surgery.
METHODS: A randomized prospective study was conducted on 100 patients with age - related cataract:coaxial 2. 2 mm micro - incision cataract surgery was performed in 50 cases (50 eyes), and coaxial 3 mm small incision cataract surgery was performed in 50 cases ( 50 eyes) . Statistical analysis was takenwith the data of the two groups. Visual acuity, VF and QOL were compared at intervals of 1wk and 3mo after surgery. In addition, surgically induced astigmatism ( SIA ) was analyzed. Statistic analysis was taken by Student's t-test and Chi-square test.
RESULTS:There was no significant difference on BCVA (t=-1. 366, -1. 688; P=0. 148, 0. 107) between these two groups. One week and 3mo after the surgery, SIA was (0. 46±0.29)D, (0. 43±0. 26)D in the 2. 2 group; and (1. 55±0. 59) D, (0. 89±0. 28) D, in 3. 0 group. The differences between these two groups were statistically significant ( t=-7. 348, -3. 788; P = 0. 000, 0. 000 ) There were no statistically significant differences on VF scores between two group, while it's got a better score in 2. 2 groups on vision adaptation. (t=-3. 348, P<0. 05).
CONCLUSION:Coaxial 2. 2mm micro-incision cataract surgery could significantly reduce SIA and obtain morestable status of VF and QOL. This suggests that the coaxial 2. 2 phacoemulsification surgery implanted AkreosMI60 intraocular lens could get earliervisual rehabilitation postoperation.

目的帮助截瘫患者解决便秘的痛苦及促进排便功能的恢复。方法卫生棉条刺激排便和定时排便训练。结果治疗组的有效率为90.49% ,明显高于对照组的33.33%(P<0.01)。结论棉条刺激和定时排便训练能使患者短时间内大量排便并对排便功能的恢复有促进作用。
