Objective To investigate the genetic association of complement factor B (CFB)gene polymorphisms with the susceptibility and prognosis of IgA nephropathy (IgAN).Methods Four hundreds and sixty-three Northern Han Chinese patients with IgAN and two hundreds and ninty-six geographically and ethnic matched healthy volunteers were recruited.Peripheral blood was collected from recruited individuals for DNA extracting.After amplified by plymerase chain reaction (PCR),genotyping of the four single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in CFB gene,which were rs4151667,rs12614,rs641153 and rs117314762,were performed by sequencing.Differences of allele and genotype frequencies were analyzed between IgAN patients and healthy controls.Moreover,the association between these SNPs and disease clinical manifestation,pathological features and long term renal outcome in IgAN patients were further analyzed.Results The G allele and GG genotype frequencies of rs117314762 in CFB gene were significantly higher in IgAN patients than that in healthy controls.No difference in allele and genotype frequencies of rs4151667,rs12614,rs641153 between IgAN patients and healthy controls was observed.Furthermore,no association was found between these SNPs in CFB gene and clinical manifestation,pathological features and long term renal outcome of IgAN.Conclusion Association between rs117314762 in CFB gene and IgAN susceptibility suggests that there may be functional variants in CFB gene or its linked genetic region,which needs further exploration.

Objective To evaluate the effects of clinical center-based health management on quality of life (QOL) of patients with asthma. Methods A total of 642 patients who had received standard antiasthma treatment over 3 years in our clinical center from September 2005 up to now were randomly assigned to the good compliance group ( group A, n = 326 ) and bad compliance group ( group B, n = 316 ). A questionnaire was used to estimate the awareness about asthma,medical therapy and disease control. Levels of QOL were compared at 6 months and 1 and 3 years after health education. Results In group A,uncontrolled,partly controlled, and completely controlled asthma were found in 21%, 47%, and 32% participants, respectively. Significant difference of QOL was shown between the 2 groups after the intervention ( P ＜ 0. 05 ). At 6 months, forced expiratory volume in one second ( FEV1 ), percentage of predicted FEV1 ( FEV1 % pre) ,and peak expiratory flow rate ( PEF)were significantly improved in group A ( all P ＜0. 05 ),although acute attack and hospitalization were largely reduced. In comparison with baseline,6 months and 1 year,self-reported QOL, limitation of motion, stimulus avoidance and response, and disease concerns were significantly changed at 3 years. Conclusions Clinic center-based health management could benefit disease control and QOL of patients with asthma.

METHOD: Human ASMC were isolated and subcultured, varying concentration of LTD 4 were added to the media. Objective To investigate the effect of nursing intervention on deep vein thrombosis after major bone trauma.Methods 59 cases of bone trauma surgery were selected as the research subjects,according to random number table method,they were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group.The patients of the control group received routine nursing care,and the patients of the observation group were given nursing intervention for postoperative deep vein thrombosis on the basis of the conventional nursing care.The pulmonary embolism,deep vein thrombosis and lower extremity swelling occurred rate before and after intervention of venous blood flow velocity, patients hospitalization time and quality of care scores were compared.Results The incidence rates of pulmonary embolism (0.0%),deep vein thrombosis (11.1%)and lower extremity swelling with postoperation (14.8%)of the observation group were significantly less than those in the control group(15.6%,53.1%,46.9%),there was signifi-cant differences (χ2 =4.61,11.54,6.89,all P <0.05).After intervention,the lower extremity venous blood flow velocity of two groups [(20.9 ±5.3)cm/s,(27.5 ±7.4)cm/s]was significantly higher than before intervention [(19.2 ±4.6)cm/s,(19.8 ±5.3)cm/s],there was statistically significant difference (t =1.37,4.40,all P <0.05).The stem prognosis of lower extremity venous blood flow velocity of the observation group [(27.5 ±7.4)cm/s]was significantly higher than (20.9 ±5.3)cm/s of the control group,there was significant difference (t =3.98, P <0.05).The hospitalization time in the observation group (45.2 ±5.4)d was less than (62.3 ±7.5)d in the con-trol group,and the nursing quality score (98.7 ±1.1)was higher than (91.8 ±1.7)in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (t =9.88,18.12,all P <0.05).Conclusion Comprehensive nursing inter-vention can help improve venous blood flow velocity,reduce the incidence of deep vein thrombosis,shorten the hospital stay,and improve the quality of nursing.

Objective To explore the influence of self care interaction mode on the health behavior of the patients with thoracolumbar fracture.Methods 127 cases of thoracolumbar fracture were randomly divided into the observation group (62 cases)and the control group (65 cases)according to random digital table method.The patients of the observation group were given self nursing interactive nursing.The patients of the control group were given rou-tine nursing.The comparative study of the following indicators of the two groups of patients:(1)activities of daily liv-ing (ADL);(2)bedridden patient self -care skills of and self -care knowledge assessment;(3)satisfaction,compli-cations,the average length of days and discharged patient telephone visit the initiative.Results The discharge self nursing ability raise,health behavior change,self -care knowledge and self -care skills of the observation group were significantly better than the control group,there were statistically significant differences(P <0.05);after discharge from the hospital,bed incidence of complications (6.5%)of the observation group was significantly lower than the control group (18.1%),the difference was statistically significant (χ2 =4.16,P <0.05)and satisfaction degree (91.7 ±6.5)was higher than the control group (87.3 ±7.5),with statistically significant difference (t =3.59,P <0.05),and the average hospitalization day (16.11 ±7.61 )d was lower than that of the control group (19.95 ± 11.55)d,there was statistically significant difference (t =2.20,P <0.05).Conclusion Self care interactive mode is conducive to mining the self -care ability of patients,improve the self -care ability of patients,and has good social benefits.

OBJECTIVEThis study aims to identify the effects of corticotomy-assisted orthodontic premolar intrusion andevaluate the changes of root resorption and the alveolar bone.

METHODSBoth sides of the mandible of eight male Beagle dogswere randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. The third (P3) and fourth (P4) premolars were intruded withboth mini-screw implant anchorage (MIA) and corticotomy on the experimental side. By contrast, P3 and P4 were intrudedwith MIA alone on the control side. During pre-operation and after 2, 4, 8, and 12 weeks of orthodontic force applications,cone beam computed tomography was performed on every dog. The distance of tooth intrusion and root resorption of furcation, as well as the apex and height changes of the alveolar bone were measured and analyzed.

RESULTSThe intrusion distanceof premolars on the experimental side was greater than that on the control side (P < 0.05). The root of furcation and apex onboth sides occurred in root resorption, and the root resorption of the apex on the experimental side was lighter than that onthe control side after 12 weeks of force application (P < 0.05). The alveolar bone height decreased, and the height reductiondistance on the experimental side was greater than that on the control side after 8 and 12 weeks of force application (P < 0.05).

CONCLUSIONCorticotomy accelerates orthodontic molarintrusion and reduces root resorption.

AIM:To investigate the effect of potassium treatment on coronary arterial impairment induced by high salt intake.METHODS:Sprague-Dawley rats (4-week-old, n=10 in each group) received distilled water (NS), water containing 1.5%NaCl (HS), or 1.5% NaCl and 0.5% KCl (HS+HP) for 16 weeks.Systolic blood pressure (SBP) was determined by tail plethysmography every 2 weeks.After 16 weeks of treatment, vascular remodeling, superox-ide production, malondialdehyde (MDA) content, and endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) and gp91 expression in the coronary arteries were detected .RESULTS:After 16 weeks of salt loading , the rats in HS group was divided into salt sensitive subgroup and salt resistance subgroup according to the tail-cuff blood pressure .In this experiment , the salt-sensi-tive rats were selected as HS group .In HS group, salt loading significantly increased SBP , serum MDA and gp91 expres-sion, decreased serum NO and eNOS expression in the coronary arteries , and induced the coronary artery remodeling com-pared with NS group .In salt-loaded SD rats , 16-week potassium treatment abrogated the effects induced by salt loading . CONCLUSION:High salt may affect structural and functional changes in coronary arteries by activating oxidative stress . Potassium treatment antagonizes the effect of high salt intake .

Objective To analyze the reasons of invalid detections occurred in using three kinds of nucleic acid detection systems in our laboratory since 2016.Methods Analyze the numbers and types of invalid detections,for Roche Cobas S201 system from January to December 2016,Procleix Tigris system from January to September 2016,and Procleix Panther system from September 2016 to March 2017,respectively.Results The invalidation rates of Cobas s201,Tigris,and Panther systems were 0.90％ (402/44 838),4.01％ (2 960/73 835),and 1.34％ (1 093/81 741),respectively,and there were statistically significant differences between the three detection systems (P＜0.05).Except for the differences between Roche Cobas s201 and Panther 1404,there were statistically significant differences between instruments (P＜0.05).Failure of instruments,invalid detection of reagent calibrators,fault operation and sample quality are the causes of invalid detection.Conelusion The main reason of invalidation is instrument failure and reagent calibrator failmre.Invalid detections of nucleic acid screening is related on different detection systems.

Objective To compare the dosimetric difference on organ at risk (OAR) in intensitymodulated radiotherapy (IMRT) with three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy (3D-CRT) in treatment with cervical carcinoma. Methods 36 cases of cervical cancer patients accepted radiotherapy both on IMRT and 3D-CRT in the same time,clinical target volume (CTV) focused on primary tumor and its lymphatic drainage area.Lymphatic drainage area was determined as follows:1.0 cm extension were added to the margin of pelvic vessels,the obturator lymph nodes region was extended by 1.8 cm from the pelvis inner margin.CTV does not include pelvic tissue. Data of dose distribution and irradiation volume of OAR on the basis of distributing on 45 Gy and 50 Gy were analyzed individually. The margins of planning target volume (PTV) was obtained based on CTV margins by which added 1.0 cm extension in inferior and superior directions,0.7 cm were added in all other directions. Results With the comparison of variety on irradiation volume of organs at risk (OAR) by DVH in both groups,underlying the treatment dose 45 Gy,the individual volume of D30,D40 and D45 were all lesser in IMRT plan than that of 3D-CRT plan. Even on the dose 50 Gy at pelvic wall lymph nodes regions,the volume of OAR was lesser than that in 3D-CRT plan.Conclusion In the radiotherapy of cervical cancer,IMRT should have improved protections for tumor surrounding OAR which has domestic superiority in clinical application.
