Objective To learn mental health,life events and stress response of immigrant medical professionals. Methods Symptom checklist ( SCL-90), Life event scale ( LES), and Coping questionnaire (CQ) were used for assessment. Results SCL-90 ( 135.95 ± 32. 56 ), Somatization ( 1.62 ± 0. 38 ),obsessive-compulsion ( 1.75 ± 0. 53), depression (1.66 ± 0. 55) ,anxiety ( 1.52 ± 0. 54), hostility ( 1.53 ±0.45) ,and psychoticism (1.45 ±0.46) were even serious in immigrant medical professionals (all P＜0. 05). SCL-90 factor score was positively correlated with LES total score and LES factor score ( both P ＜0. 05 ). However, SCL-90 factor score was negatively correlated with problem-solving and coping style score of CQ (P ＜ 0. 01 ). Conclusion As mental health and life event responses were concerned, more attention should be paid to the immigrant medical professionals.

AIM:To approach the effects of Bacille Calmette-Guerin(BCG)on immunological function of infants with bronchiolitis in vitro. METHODS: The monocytes were segregated from the peripheral blood of infants with acute bronchiolitis and healthy infants as control. The cytokines of IL-10 and IL-12 were measured by ELISA after interfered with different concentrations of BCG in vitro. IL-4, produced by lymphocytes treated with the cultural supernatant of BCG-stimulated monocytes were determined by ELISA. Acute bronchiolitis infants and health children treated with normal saline were as control. RESULTS: BCG stimulated IL-10 and IL-12 production in a dose response manner in a certain concentration range. The defense for paternalism is based on that family members' decisions are usually beneficial for patients' best interests.However,this premise remains to be demonstrated.The moral theory of maintaining family members' interests challenged the ethical principle of respecting patients' autonomy,which believed that treatment decisions should be discussed by the whole family members.However,the principle of autonomy does not always dissever the relationship between individual and family members.It resorted East Asia family autonomy of Chinese traditional culture and emphasized on the value of objective goodness and family dependence.However,patients often do not play a proper role in families' decision-making.Besides,the Confucian bioethics also needs to provide more sufficient argumentation to deal with the relationship between subjective goodness and objective goodness.The unconditional acquiescence of family members' domination in decision-making is worthy reflecting in the current medical environment.

Objective To learn the psychological health state,life events and coping styles of the non-native policemen.Methods Symptom checklist (SCL-90),Life event scale (LES) and Coping questionnaire (CQ) was tested to native policemen(n=238) and non-native policeman(n=136).Results Score of SCL-90 (159.68±50.46) ,depression(1.79±0.62) ,photic anxiety(1.54±0.63) ,addition items(1.82±0.59) factors in non-native policemen were higher than that in the native policemen,and there was significant deference(P＜0.05).The concerned analyses showed non-native policemen score of SCL-90 was significantly positively related to LES total score and sub-scale factor (P＜0.01,P＜0.05).The non-native policemen score of SCL-90 was significantly negatively related to settle problem factor of CQ (P ＜ 0.01),and other factors of CQ was significantly positively(P ＜0.O1).Conclusion The poor psychological health state and live emergency events of the non-native policemen should be pay more attention.

We examined eutopic,ectopic endometria and peritoneal fluid macrophages from 22 patients with endometriosis(EMS) and 14 women without EMS.To obtain evidence for the induction of programmed cell death,apoptotic cells were identified using a modified terminal deixynucleotidyltransferasebiotin nick end-labeling method(TUNEL).To evaluate cell death repressor activity,bcl-2,bax and fas genes expression was examined using immunohistochemical staining. The results showed that bcl-2 expression in eutopic,ectopic endometrium and peritoneal fluid macrophages with EMS was significantly increased compared with no EMS(P＜0.01).Bax expression in eutopic,ectopic and peritoneal fluid macrophages with EMS was significantly decreased compared with no EMS(P＜0.05). Fas expression in eutopic,ectopic endometrium was decreased compared with no EMS(P＜0.05). The expression of apoptotic genes were different in eutopic,ectopic endometrium and peritoneal fluid macrophages from EMS and no EMS.Apoptotic rate in EMS was lower than no EMS,and its acceptance was decreased,which could bear implications for the growth and survival of ectopic endometrial tissue.

Objective To investigate the mutation characteristics and genotype of hepatitis B virus resistance gene in Nantong area,and provide scientific basis for clinical rational drug.Methods A total of 158 cases of chronic hepatitis B (CHB)pa-tients who were received with nucleos (T)ide analogues therapy for at least 2 years as the research object,and 30 cases of CHB patients who were not received nucleos (T)ide analogues for the treatment as the control group.PCR-sequencing method was used to detect the HBV P resistant gene and genotype,meanwhile,observe the relationship between three main mutation model and the levels of ALT and HBV DNA was also investigated.Results B genotype was detected in 42 (26.58%)out of 158 CHB patients,and 116 cases (73.42%)were C genotype.A total of 131 patients with different site mutations in P region,the mutation rate were 82.91%.There were totally 11 HBV mutation sites,including the main muta-tion site:M204I,L180M,M204V,A181V and A181T,the frequency of drug resistance were 41.14%,37.34%,22.15%, 11.39% and 10.13%,respectively.Moreover,11 mutation sites had 21 mutation patterns.In lamivudine (LAM)resistance associated mutations,the L180M and M204V sites were mainly co-occurrence,followed by M204I alone.In adefovir dipivoxil (ADV)resistance associated mutations,A181V was the main mutation site.Whereas,the drug resistance rate of entecavir (ETV)was low.Conclusion The main genotypes of HBV were type B and C in Nantong area,and C type was the dominant genotype.The resistance mutations mainly concentrated in LAM and ADV resistance associated mutations,while the resist-ance rate of ETV was low.Multi-locus drug-resistant mutation detection may help to detect viral resistance and guide clinical treatment better.
