Objective To provide reference for expanding the employment positions of graduates in medical infor-mation management and information system of Chongqing Medical University by analyzing their employment situa-tion and trends.Methods The jobs of 171 graduates from Chongqing Medical University Medical Information School in 2008-2013 were registered according to the agreements of graduates, Chongqing Medical University Medical In-formation School, and employing units.Results The employment rate of graduates in medical information manage-ment and information system was relatively high .Their main employing units were medical and health organizations and associated enterprises in the City of Chongqing and Sichuan Province.The employment rate was low in coastal regions.The number of employed graduates in medical and health organizations reached its peak in 2013, and re-mained unchanged in medical and health associated enterprises.Conclusion Although the employment situation of graduates in medical information management and information system is good., the number of employing units and regions is relatively less.The literacy and ability of graduates in medical information management and information system should be improved, their employment channels should be expanded, and their professional education should be further perfected with gradual saturation of demand for graduates in employing units.

BACKGROUND: Myelin sheath related inhibitors have been found to have great impact on microenvironment of axon regeneration. Traditional Chinese medicine is gradual y becoming a research hotspot on improving microenvironment of nerve regeneration with its advantage on multiple factors and targets.
OBJECTIVE: To clarify the effect of Jisuikang on Nogo-66 receptor NgR expression after spinal cord injury.
METHODS: 144 rats were randomly divided into six groups: sham surgery group, model group, prednisone group, high-, moderate- and low-dose Jisuikang groups (n=24). Animal models of spinal cord injury were established by the modified Allen’s method in the later five groups. Rats in the prednisone group were daily given 0.06 g/kg prednisone acetate by lavage, once a day. Rats in the high-, moderate- and low-dose Jisuikang groups were daily intragastrically given 12.5, 25 and 50 g/kg Jisuikang, once a day. Rats in the sham surgery and model groups were intragastrically daily given 20 mL of saline, once a day. Rats in each group were administered drugs until death.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Compared with the model group, NgR protein and mRNA expression levels were significantly lower in the prednisone, moderate-and low-dose Jisuikang groups. These data suggested that Jisuikang can improve the recovery of neurological function after spinal cord injury and effectively inhibit NgR protein expression at the site of injury so as to suppress the microenvironment factors harmful to nerve regeneration and further improve the microenvironment of nerve regeneration. Objective By observing the clinical efficacy of acupuncture plusBu Shen Jie Yu Qing Xin decoction (herbal decoction for tonifying kidney, anti-depression and clearing heart fire) in treating perimenopausal depression, to discuss about the effect of acupuncture plus medication on Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and hypothalamic-pituitary-ovarian (H-P-O) axis in perimenopausal depression patients.Method By following a completely randomized design, sixty perimenopausal depression patients were divided into a Chinese medication group (Bu Shen Jie Yu Qing Xin decoction) with 30 cases, and an acupuncture-medication group (acupuncture plusBu Shen Jie Yu Qing Xin decoction) with 30 cases, to receive 12-week treatment in total. The HAMD and SDS were estimated prior to the treatment and in the 4th, 8th and 12th weeks; the serum follicle stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), estradiol (E2), testosterone (T), prolactin (PRL), and progesterone (P) contents were detected before and after the treatment.Result Acupuncture plus medication and Chinese medication alone were both effective in treating perimenopausal depression, and the therapeutic efficacy of acupuncture plus medication was superior to that of Chinese medication alone (P<0.05). In the acupuncture-medication group, the HAMD score dropped significantly in the 4th, 8th and 12th weeks compared to that before the treatment, and the score dropped significantly in the 8th and 12th weeks compared to that before the treatment in the Chinese medication group (P<0.01). The HAMD score in the acupuncture-medication group was significantly lower than that in the Chinese medication group in the 4th, 8th and 12th weeks (P<0.01). After the treatment, the items including anxiety, insight, sleep, and despair were significantly changed in the Chinese medication group (P<0.05); 7 items were significantly changed in the acupuncture-medication group (P<0.05). The scores of anxiety, insight, sleep, diurnal-nocturnal, obstruction, and body weight in the acupuncture-medication group were significantly superior to those in the Chinese medication group (P<0.05). The SDS score dropped significantly in the 4th, 8th and 12th weeks in the acupuncture-medication group, and in the 8th and 12th weeks in the Chinese medication group (P<0.01,P<0.05); in the 4th and 8th weeks, the SDS score in the acupuncture-medication group was significantly lower than that in the Chinese medication group (P<0.05), while the between-group difference was statistically insignificant in the 12th week (P>0.05). After 12-week treatment, the contents of FSH and LH declined significantly in both groups (P<0.01, P<0.05), and the contents of E2 and T increased significantly in the acupuncture-medication group (P<0.01,P<0.05). The decrease of FSH and LH, and the increase of E2 were more significant in the acupuncture-medication group (P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Acupuncture plus medication can improve the symptoms of perimenopausal depression, and it takes a faster action than Chinese medication alone. Acupuncture plus medication can mitigate 7 items in HAMD, while Chinese medication can improve anxiety, insight, sleep and despair. Acupuncture plus medication can produce a more significant efficacy in improving anxiety, insight, sleep, diurnal-nocturnal, obstruction, and body weight compared to Chinese medication. For perimenopausal depression, acupuncture plus medication can correct the endocrine disorder and improve depression state by down-regulating the levels of FSH and LH, and up-regulating the contents of E2 and T to improve the function of H-P-O axis.

OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for determination of the contents of chlorogenic acid and baicalin in Shiwuwei Xiaoyanzhike oral liquid .METHODS:HPLC was used,the mobile phase was acetonitrile - acetic acid,the flow rate was 0.8ml/ min and the detecting wavelengths were 326nm and 274nm.RESULTS: The recoveries of chlorogenic acid and baicalin were 96.8% - 104.5% , 94.9% -97.7% and RSD were 1.09% -3.12% , 1.19% -1.76% (n = 3), respectively .CONCLUSION: The method is simple and feasible with a good reproducibility, the RESULTS: can provide a basis for establishing the quality standard of this oral liquid.

Objective To explore the effect of Jisuikang on neural functional recovery, and expression of brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) protein and mRNA level after spinal cord injury (SCI). Methods 144 female Sprague-Dawley rats, weighted 180 to 220 g, were used for experiment. 24 rats were randomly extracted into sham group (Group A), which had their vertebral plates and spines bitten away only.The others were randomly divided into model group (Group B), prednison group (Group C), and high, middle and low doses of Jisuikang group (Groups D to F) after SCI, 24 rats in each group. Group C was given 0.06 g/(kg ⋅ d) prednison, and Groups D to F were given 50, 25 and 12.5 g/(kg ⋅d) Jisuikang respectively, which were given 20 ml/(kg ⋅d) volume by intragastric administration. Groups A and B were given the same volume of normal saline (NS). The Basso-Beattie-Bresnahan (BBB) scores and oblique board test were applied to test the postoperative results 24 hours, 3, 7 and 14 days after SCI. The rats were executed and the spinal cord tissues were extracted 3, 7 and 14 days after SCI. Immunohistochemistry, Western blotting and RQ-PCR were applied to test the expression of protein and mRNA of BDNF. Results BBB scores and angle of oblique board test were significantly lower in Groups B to F than in Group A 24 hours after SCI (P<0.01). BBB scores were higher in both Groups C and E than in Group B 3 to 14 days after SCI (P<0.05), and was significantly higher in Group E than in the other groups 14 days after SCI (P<0.01). The results of immunohistochemistry and Western blotting showed that the protein expression of BDNF were significantly higher in Groups C and E than in Group B at different time points in the injured area after SCI (P<0.01), while there was no significant difference between Groups C and E (P>0.05). The results of RQ-PCR showed that prednisone and Jisuikang promoted the expression of BDNF mRNA. Group C (prednisone) had a most obvious effect at the beginning while Group E was better than Group C 14 days after SCI. Conclusion Jisuikang can promote the neural functional recovery and the expression of BDNF on both protein and mRNA level in SCI rats.

Objective To clarify the effects of Jisuikang on expression levels of BDNF and NGF protein in serum of rats with spinal cord injury;To explore its probable mechanism to improve the axon regeneration microenvironment and resistance spinal cord injury.Methods Ninety SD rats were chosen to establish acute spinal cord injury model through modified Allen's method. 15 rats were chosen randomly as sham-operation group, and the other 75 rats were randomly divided into model group, prednisone group and high-, medium-, and low-doseJisuikang groups. All administration groups were given relevant medicine for gavage, while rats in sham-operation group and model group were given normal saline with the same volume for gavage. The activity and death condition of rats were recorded. Rats were put to death on the 3rd, 7th and 14th d of intervention for carotid artery blood collection. The expressions of BDNF and NGF in serum were detected by ELISA.Results After modeling, the rats in model group showed a typical paraplegia syndrome. 3 day after operation, BDNF showed no statistical significance between model group and prednisone group, while each treatment group showed significant difference when compared with prednisone group (P<0.05,P<0.01). 7 d and 14 d after operation, compared with the model group, BDNF of prednisone group and medium-dose Jisuikang group showed statistical significance, and there was no significant difference between prednisone group and medium-dose Jisuikang group (P<0.05,P<0.01). The expression of NGF in each treatment group at each time point with the prednisone group showed statistical significance. 3 d and 7 d after operation, among prednisone group, high- and medium-doseJisuikang groups, the expression of NGF was significantly higher than model group. 14 d after operation, compared with the model group, the expression of NGF in medium- and low-dose Jisuikang groups and prednisone group still maintained at a relatively high level, with statistical significance (P<0.05,P<0.01).Conclusion Jisuikang can effectively promote the expressions of BDNF and NGF in serum after spinal cord injury and maintained at a relatively high level, so as to improve the microenvironment of axonal regeneration and promote nerve regeneration.

To investigate the clinicopathological features as well as prognosis of early esophageal squamous cell neoplasm (ESCN) treated with endoscopic resection (ER).Methods 368 patients were collected from 2007 to 2013.Clinicopathological features including invasion depth and margin were evaluated.Survival curves were constructed by using the Kaplan-Meier method.Univariate and multivariate Cox proportional hazard regression models were performed to identify associations with outcome variables.Results There were 252 males and 116 females with a median age of 61 (16-84) years.Patient numbers of hyperplasia,low grade intraepithelial neoplasia,high grade intraepithelial neoplasia,m1,m2,m3,sm1 and sm2 were 47(12.8％),61 (16.6％),61 (16.6％),54(14.7％),38(10.3％),63(17.1％),12(3.3％) and 32(8.7％),respectively.The cumulative overall 1-year,3-year,and 5-year rates of survival in the metachronous esophageal lesions were 4.1％,12.9％ and 32.6％,respectively.The incidence of lymph node/distant metastasis was 1.54％ in m3,6.25％ in sm2,and 0 in other subgroups.The overall 1-year,3-year,and 5-year survival rates were 99.5％,97.3％,and 87.5％,respectively.Significant difference was identified between sm2 and non-sm2 patients in metastatic rate (P =0.021),however,no significant difference existed between m3 patients and sm2 patients (P =0.252).Metachronous esophageal lesion and survival between sm2 and non-sm2 patients demonstrated no statistical difference (P =0.401 and P =0.634).Conclusion ER is an effective and relatively safe treatment for superficial ESCN.The procedure is still appropriate in selecting sin2 patients.It is necessary to monitor the second primary cancer in sm2 patients during follow-up.

To explore the status of HER-2 gene amplification and protein expression in Chinese esophageal squamous cell carcinoma patients and its relationship with the clinicopathological parameters.Methods The HER-2 gene amplification was detected by FISH and protein expression by IHC in 96 patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma that would be followed up for 3 years.Results Three cases presented with 3 +,15 cases with 2 +,11 cases with 1 +,and 67 with negative by HER-2 immunohistochemical staining;2 of 3 cases presented with HER-2 amplification in in 3 +,1 case presented with over 6 HER-2 copy numbers.HER-2 amplification and HER-2 overexpression had significant correlation (P ＜ 0.000 1).HER2 amplification or overexpression was associated with clinicopathological parameters,such as,carcinomas without necrosis (P =0.012) and lower stage (P =0.040).There was better DFS or OS trend in patients with HER-2 overexpression or amplification,but the significant difference did not reached.Conclusion This research has demonstrated the correspondence between gene amplification and protein overexpression of HER-2 in ESCC.HER-2 gene overexpression or amplification is a potential better predictive parameter in ESCC,but needs further study.

Objective:To standardize the naming of organ at risk (OAR) and target area during cervical cancer radiotherapy based on AAPM TG-263.Methods:After self-programming of Matlab software to implement the reading and resolution of radiotherapy structure files, the naming of each substructure was automatically output, recorded and restored. After naming all substructures, the structure names were classified by keywords. According to TG-263, a standard naming conversion table of OAR and target area was developed, and the classified structure names were standardized through procedures. Finally, the standardized named radiotherapy structure files were output and imported into the treatment planning system (TPS).Results:The radiation structure of 144 patients with cervical cancer was successfully transformed and displayed correctly in TPS. Before the transformation, the naming of OAR and target area lacked of uniform norms and standards, and the naming of the same structure significantly differed. After the transformation, 43 naming methods of OAR and 74 naming methods of the target area were unified into 20 and 8 naming methods, which were more convenient for staff understanding and communication.Conclusion:The standardization of cervical cancer radiotherapy structure naming can reduce the inconsistency of naming and provide reference for the standardized naming of pelvic tumors.

Objective To explore the effects and mechanisms of periostin overexpression on migration and invasion of nasopharyngeal carcinoma ( NPC) cell line.Methods The recombinant plasmids [ pCMV-neo ( +)-periostin ] and control plasmids [pCMV-neo (+)] were transfected into 6-10B cells using lipofectamine 2000TM reagent.The expression of periostin was detected with PCR and Western blotting .Transwell chamber invasion assay was employed to assay the migration and invasion of 6-10B cells before and after transfection .A gelatin zymogram was used to detect the activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9 in cultivated supernatant of 6-10B cells before and after transfection .The expression of integrin-αvβ5 was detected by immunohistochemistry ( IHC) in 6-10Bperiostin cells, 6-10Bvector cells and 6-10B cells as well as normal nasopharyngeal mucosa ( NNM) and NPC and at the same time periostin also was detected by immumohistochemistry in NNM and NPC, and densitometry analysis using image-pro plus 6.0 software, and the correlation between periostin and integrin-αvβ5 on NPC was assayed with statistics .Results Over expression of periostin promoted cell migration and invasion.The expression levels of integrin-αvβ5 in primary NPC and 6-10Bperiostin cells were significantly higher than those in NNM and 6-10Bvector, 6-10B cells.The expression in NPC of integrin-αvβ5 showed positively correlated with the expression of periostin (r=0.682, P<0.01).Conclusion Periostin plays an important role in regulation of cell migration and invasion probably by combining with integrin-αvβ5 to improve the activities of MMPs .
