The characteristic of talent cultivation for Chinese pharmacy in comprehensive university is interdisciplinary. In order to improve the teaching quality of Chinese pharmacy,we should attach importance to following these aspects:laying stress on general introduction and chapter overview,sifing teaching parts in textbook ,and integrating with research progress of traditional Chinese drug.

OBJECTIVE:To prepare the doxofylline sustained-release capsules and evaluate it's in vitro release.METH_ ODS:The doxofylline sustained pellets were developed by rolling technique and coated by Eudragit RS100.UV-spectropho tometry was adopted to determine the dissolubility of doxofylline,which marked the release profiles of that cap?sules.RESULTS:The dissolubilities of the capsules were20%～40%,40%～80%and more than80%at2h,6h and10h re?spectively.CONCLUSION:The preparation procedure for doxofylline sustained-release capsules is feasible and repeatable.The capsules have obviously sustained property.

Objective To investigate the teaching effects of Sandwich teaching mode applied in clinical oncology teaching.Methods Totally 72 clinical medicine undergraduates were divided into two groups randomly:Sandwich teaching group and traditional teaching group.Sandwich teaching mode was introduced to Sandwich teaching group while traditional teaching mode was carried out in traditional teaching group.Questionnaires and test paper were analyzed between the two groups and two teaching modes were evaluated.Examination results were statistically analyzed by t test.Results According to the questionnaires,more than 80 percent of the students thought that the initiative and enthusiasm were fully mobilized by the Sandwich teaching mode.Studying efficiency was improved significantly and skills of independent thinking,comprehensive analysis and problem-solving were trained,meanwhile,Sandwich teaching mode can improve the ability of expression and communication.Test score of students in Sandwich teaching group was higher than those in traditional teaching group (P＜0.05).Conclusions Sandwich teaching mode has obvious advantages in improving teaching quality of clinical oncology and it may help to cultivate high quality oncology specialists.

Cavernous transformation of portal vein accounts for about 40％ in children portal hypertension.Compared with other causes of portal hypertension disease cavernous transformation of portal vein presents early age of disease onset,high risk of bleeding and normal liver function.Because the pathology is relatively simple and most children have no other diseases,so a reasonable treatment of the disease has decisive significance.The current concept for diagnosis and treatment of the disease is different between home and abroad,Controlling upper gastrointestinal bleeding is the main purpose in out country.Reliving hypersplenism,improving liver blood supply and quality of life are much important abroad,The article aims to summarize latest foreign literature to introduce latest research for the disease abroad.

Objective To investigate the clinical features of primary angiitis of the central nervous system (PACNS). Methods The clinical data of 27 patients with PACNS were analyzed. Results PACNS commonly occured in young and middli-aged adult and with acute or subacute onset. The clinical manifestations were mainly including headache,decrudescence of cortical functions,focal neurological deficits and seizures. The hypointensity signals on T1WI and T2WI were showed and could be enhanced at lesions by skull MRI. The pia vessels inflammatory lesions were revealed in brain by pathological examination. The treated with glucocorticoid and combined therapy such as anti platelet aggregation,scavenging free radicals,reducing intracranial pressure,improving microcirculation and promoting neuronic metabolism,the condition get better.Conclusions The clinical manifestation of PACNS is various. The diagnosis can be make by combining the data of clinical features,imaging and brain biopsy.The treatment with glucocorticoid can obtain better efficacy.

Objective To isolate the microsatellite DNA of Phlebotomus chinensis and screen the polymorphic loci.Methods Genomic DNA fragments were hybridized with biotinylated oligonucleotide probes(AAT)17,(GA)25,(CCT)17,and(TG)18.The hybridized fragments were captured with Vectrex Avidin D and enriched by centrifugal ultrafiltration with ultra-4-column ultrafiltrate.The target fragments were amplified,cloned and sequenced.The suitable microsatellite loci were chosen in Ph.chinensis's library to establish PCR amplification assay.The polymorphism screening was conducted by PAGE with Ph.chinensis field specimens.Results The enrichment protocol used in this study was efficient,with a percentage of recombinant clone as 78.6%.There were 118 microsatellite sequences in library,the GenBank accession numbers were from FJ919812 to FJ919932(except GenBank accession numbers FJ919833,FJ919836,and FJ919869).There were 72 typical microsatellite sequences occupying 61.0% and the rest were 46 nontypical microsatellite sequences in the library.Twenty-two loci were chosen to polymorphism screening and PAGE showed that 14 loci were polymorphic.The loci of dinucleotide repeat were more polymorphic than those of trinucleotide and polynucleotide repeat.Conclusion The microsatellite-containing library of Ph.chinensis has been constructed with 118 sequences,and 14 new polymorphic microsatellite loci are reported.

Objective To screen a cell line which stably suppresses DAPK expression and to observe the growth characters.Methods Four pairs of shRNA were designed,synthesized and inserted into the pDsRed1-N1-U6 vector.The recombinant plasmids were purified and transfected into PC12 cell.Meanwhile,a pDsRed1-N1-U6 vector was transfected as control.The cell clones were screened by G418,and the stable PC12 cell line was established.DAPK expression was detected by Western blot.MTT method and Flow Cytometry(FCM) assay were used to assess the growth characters of the cell line.Results The shRNAs were transfected into PC12 cell and the cell clones were successfully screened out.Of the four recombinant plasmids,the F2 was the best interfering shRNA.Beyond our expectation,the F1 recombinant plasmid had an enhanced effect on DAPK expression.Conclusion A stable PC12 cell line with stable inhibition of DAPK expression by was established using siRNA expression vectors.

Objective To investigate the clinical effect of superselective arterial infusion chemotherapy(SACT) and embolization in advanced cervical carcinoma patients before surgery. Methods 26 previously untreated patients with stage ⅡA-Ⅳ cervical carcinoma admitted from January 2004 to March 2008 were enrolled into the study, patients underwent SACT of the internal iliac artery(dose of the drug: CBP 80 rag, VCR 2 rag, MMC 16 mg) by Seldinger technique in the surveillance of DSA, the obvious branches of the tumor blood supply were embolized by gelfoam particles. Size of tumor before and after chemotherapy was measured by gynecological examination combined with B ultrasonic examination and CT, then calculated the percentage of tumor regression. Radical hysterectomy was administered one month after chemotherapy. Results 24 patients were evaluated as PR, the reaction rate of chemotherapy was 92.3 %. Conclusion SACT before surgery can effectively reduce tumor volume, decrease lymphatic metastasis and subclinical dissemination and enhance the opportunity of radical hysterectomy, and to improve the quality of life and OS of the advanced cervical carcinoma patients.

Objective To explore the relation between thyroid nodular and thyroid calcification .Methods The clinical data of 430 cases with nodular goiter admitted from January 2011 to December 2013 were reviewed.All cases were performed ultrasonography and pathologic examination .Results Of 430 cases,there was thyroid carcinoma in 49 cases(11.4%),including microcalcification in 30 cases(61.2%) and macrocalcification in 3 cases(6.1%);benign lesion in 381 cases(88.6%),including microcalcification in 24 cases(6.3%) and macrocalcification in 39 cases(10.2%).The difference was remarkable (P=0.000).There was remarkable difference in malignant calci-fied nodules ratio between the patients with microcalcification and macrocalcification (55.6%vs 7.1%,P=0.000), between the patients aged 45 years below and above(48.8%vs 22.6%,P=0.007),between the patients with solita-ry and multiple nodules(45.0%vs 16.7%,P=0.005).But there was no statistic difference in malignant calcified nodules ratio between the male and female groups (24.2% vs.39.7%,P=0.130).Conclusion Microcalcification is a highly specific sign to predict thyroid carcinoma in ultrasonography exam .Positive intervention will be performed immediately when calcification appears in thyroid nodules .

Objective To analyze the examination results of external quality assessment(EQA),at all levels of iodine deficiency disorders(IDD) net work laboratories in Ningxia from 2002 to 2012,and to provide a reliable laboratory quality assurance for surveillance and control of IDD.Methods The data of IDD network laboratories at Ningxia provincial,municipal and county levels from 2002 to 2012 were collected and analyzed.Results Both of the response rate and qualification rate of salt iodine and urinary iodine laboratories at the provincial level were 100％ in the past 11 years.The response rate and qualification rate of salt iodine laboratories at municipal level were also 100％ ; the response rate of urinary iodine was 100％ since 2005,and the qualification rate had been 100％ for six years since 2007.The response rate of salt iodine at county level had been 100％ since 2004,and the qualification rate had been 100％ for four years since 2009.Conclusions IDD network laboratory in Ningxia Province runs good,and the quality control measures are solid and effective.
