1.Correlation analysis of nasal septum deviation with sinusitis using spiral
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(3):432-434
Objective To investigate the relationship of the occurrence of sinusitis with nasal septum devia-tion.Methods 102 patients with nasal septum deviation confirmed by spiral CT and sinus endoscopy were included. The coronal CT images of all cases were observed. The incidence of sinusitis in different type of nasal septum deviation was calculated and the correlation between sinusitis with nasal septum deviation was analyzed. Results Among 102 patients with nasal septum deviation, deviated septum at high position in 71 cases, deviated septum beyond high position in 31 cases.Sinusitis was detected in 67 cases, accounted for 65.6%,of which unilateral involving in 38 cases, bilateral involving in 29 cases.Main lesions in the nasal septum deviation concave side in 46 cases (68.7%),in nasal septum convex side in 12 cases (17.9%).Conclusion Deviated septum is an important factor in onset.Upper septum deviation and deviated concave side more likely arise sinusitis.

Objective To observe the changes of serum high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) level before and after stent-assisted angioplasty in patients with intracranial and extracranial arteriestenosis. Methods The level of serum hs-CRP were determined in 25 patients treated with cerebral artery stenting before stent implantation, 3 days after stent implantation and during 6~12 months of follow-up. The serum levels of hs-CRP in non-restenosis group and restenosis group 6~12 months after stent implantation were also compared. Results The levels of serum hs-CRP 3 days after stent implantation and during 6~12 months of follow-up were higher than those before operation (all P0.05). The level of serum hs-CRP in restenosis group was higher than that in non-restenosis group during 6~12 months of follow-up (P

Chinese Journal of Health Management 2010;04(5):290-293
Objective To explore the effect of separate management of income and expenditure (SMIE) on standard community healthcare services. Methods Health management records of 137 community health service ( CHS) institutions in Beijing during 2006 and 2009 were retrospectively analyzed. Paired t test was used to compare annual healthcare services at urban and rural areas before or after SMIE was adopted. Results The standard community healthcare services was reduced from 1 081 965. 53 to 971 793. 98 at urban areas and from 157 492. 23 to 149 305. 25 at rural areas (P >0. 05). Urban healthcare center-based standard services was decreased from 59. 94% to 52. 14% (P < 0. 05 ); while out-hospital services were increased from 13. 50% to 18. 88% (P<0. 05). In urban areas, standard services for women healthcare, chronic disease profiling, health education and information management were significantly increased (I <0. 05). However,Temporary observation and endemic disease prevention and treatment were the main job of rural healthcare. Conclusions SMIE in CHS institutions could accommodate to the need of health management, supporting policies should be further improved.

Objective To evaluate the acute side effects and efficacy of the intraluminal brachytherapy combined with external radiation and synchronous chemotherapy in the treatment of bronchial lung cancer. Methods From June 2001 to June 2003,42 patients with bronchial lung cancer were divided into treatment group and control group randomly.21 lung cancer patients with major airway obstruction were treated by combined intralumihal brachytherapy with external beam radiotherapy and synchronous chemotherapy. Results The overall response rate(CR+PR)in treatment group and control group were 85.7% and 57.1%(P<0.05).There were no serious complication during the treatment except for irritant cough and leukocytopenia. Conclusion Intraluminal brachytherapy may result in symptom improvement in patients with major airway occlusion of lung cancer. The intraluminal bmchytherapy combined with external beam radiothempy and synchronous chemotherapy is an effective method in treatment of lung cancer.

Objective To preliminarily understand and evaluate the fertility ability of male infertility patients by analyzing the semen routine testing results to assist further clinical diagnosis and treatment .Methods 7 586 cases of semen routine detection re‐sults were performed the retrospective analysis and statistics by classification according to the indexes of semen volume ,pH value , liquefaction time ,sperm density ,sperm activity and sperm deformation rate .Results Among 7 586 cases of semen routine examina‐tion ,there were 1 450 cases(19 .1% ) of semen volume less than 2 .0 mL ;1 372 cases (18 .1% ) of pH < 7 .2 ;2 740 cases(36 .1% ) of liquefaction time > 60 min ;989 cases(13 .0% ) of sperm density lower than 20 × 106 /mL ;3 719 cases(49 .0% ) of sperm activity grade a + b less than 50% ;3 431 cases(45 .2% ) of sperm deformation rate less than 15% ;141 cases(1 .9% ) of aspermatism ;1 119 cases (14 .8% ) had no abnormality in each index .Conclusion Semen liquefaction ,sperm motility and sperm deformation rate are the indexes with the highest abnormal rate in the semen routine detection ;the semen routine detection provides the important exper‐imental data for clinical diagnosis and treatment of male infertility ,the objective and correct analysis of the detection result is of great significance to the judgment of male fertility .

Objective To study the effect of estrogen, recombine human growth hormone and their combinations on residual ridge reduction in osteoporotic rats. Methods Animal models were established by ovariectomy and exodontia on left partial maxillary, then were devided into osteoporosis group and treatment groups;treatment groups were given estrogen and recombine human growth hormone medicial alone and their recombinations. After treatment for 4 and 8 weeks with drugs, the effects of estrogen and recombine human growth hormone on the serum tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase level and bone histomorphometry changes in maxillary were observed in each group. Results ① The serum tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase level was obvionsly lower in ERT group and Er-HGH group than in OP group(P

Objective To explore the improvement effect of SLOT Scan technology (narrow seam exposure capture technology) and the radiography techniques on the quality of the scoliosis X-ray films in teenagers. Methods The Sonialvision Satire Ⅱ equipment of Shimadzu corporation and SLOT Scan were applied to take the radiography for 60 patients taller than 1.50 metres. All the data were collected through a continual exposure, and the images were sewn up through a seamless connec-tion software. Results Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar and sacral segments could clearly present at the same time on one X-ray film by seamless splicing, and the quality of one time radiograph was as good as one film. Conclusion As a new radiology technique, SLOT Scan can wipe off splitting arti-fact effectively and make the whole spine seamless present on one X-ray film. It helps the spinal sur-geons to observe, calculate and measure accurately. It is useful to choose the operation mode and judge the curative effect.

Objective To discuss a new temporal bone tomography radiographic technique for the assessment of cochlear implantation and its clinic value. Methods Plane radiographs of both the temporal bone tomography and cochlear position tomography were taken on 10 children after cochlear implantation. The numbers of inserted electrodes of both techniques were compared. Results The inserted electrodes were shown clearly in both techniques. There was no difference in the data be-tween the 2 methods and between the operation and radiography outcomes (P>0.05). Conclusion Temporal bone tomography is a new method to evaluate cochlear implants in postoperative patients.
