The development trend, countries, institutions, co-authors, and subjects in MEDLINE-covered papers were analyzed by Excel, Ucinet and SciMAT respectively in order to understand the current situation in studies on precision medicine, which showed that precision medicine is in a rapid development stage, the impact power of pa-pers on precision medicine published in United States of America is high, the source journals published in United States of America are the core journals in precision medicine, the academic level of papers on precision medicine published in United States of America is high. Co-authors analysis showed that the co-authors network is of the small world effect. Subject evolution analysis revealed that the subjects involved in studies on precision medicine are increasingly rich with genomics, drug treatment and oncology accounted a large proportion. Analysis of the evo-lution in genomics, drug treatment and oncology displayed that the subjects involved in studies on precision medi-cine have experienced macro-stage, micro-stage, and combined macro- and micro-stage.

Objective To observe the effects of intervention of soothing liver and activating blood Chinese medicine on cardiac function and myocardial pathologic morphology of BMSCs transplanting on myocardial IRI of rats, and investigate its myocardial protection mechanism. Methods Model of myocardial IRI was established by coronary artery ligation in rats. SD rats were randomly divided into sham operation group, IRI group, BMSCs group and combined group. Rats in combined group were filled the stomach with soothing liver and activating blood Chinese medicine, and rats in other groups were filled the stomach with the same dose of normal saline. After 4 weeks, myocardial pathologic morphology was observed with light microscope. Cardiac function was detected with ultrasonic cardiogram.Results Compared with BMSCs group, heart function of the combined group improved, with significant statistical difference (P<0.05,P<0.01). Pathological observation showed that myocardial structure and pathological morphology were obviously promoted in the combined group.Conclusion Soothing liver and activating blood Chinese medicine could improve heart function and myocardial pathological morphology of IRI rats with BMSCs transplantation.

OBJECTIVE: To study the expression of Survivin, Caspase-3 and p53 in surgical margin of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC), and their clinical significance and relationship. METHOD: Immunohistochemistry method was used to detect the expression of Survivin, Caspase-3 and p53 in 116 cases of surgical margin of LSCC. RESULT: According to the recurrence, the patients were divided into four group, recurrence within one year, between one year to three years, between three to five years, more than 5 years (include no recurrence). The expression rate of survivin were 92.9%, 85.0%, 50.0% and 21.1% (P < 0.01) in four groups, respectively. The expression rate of Caspase-3 were 50.0%, 50.0%, 66.7% and 89.5% (P < 0.01). The expression rate of p53 were 57.1%, 37.5%, 45.8% and 18.4% (P < 0.05). The expression rate of survivin, caspase-3 and p53 in four groups, respectively, there were significant differences (P < 0.05). CONCLUSION Expression of Survivin, Caspase-3 and p53 in surgical margin of LSCC may play an important role in the tumorigenesis and development of laryngeal carcinoma. They are feasible for early diagnosis and prognosis estimation.

Objective To explore the effect of periplaneta Americana extract CⅡ-3 on cell adhesion molecules level in para-cancerous liver tissue after transcatheter arterial embolization(TAE)for hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)and its protective effect on liver injury.Methods Two tumor-loaded rabbits of Southeast University and 50 New Zealand white rabbits were used for this study.Laparotomy tumor granule injection method was adopted to establish rabbit VX 2 liver cancer models.Imaging examination was used to confirm the success of modeling and to assess the tumor implantation status.Successfully modeled 45 experimental rabbits were randomly divided into the following 3 groups with 15 rabbits in each group:control group(receiving no any treatment),TAE group(receiving embolization of the tumor-feeding artery with iodized oil),and C Ⅱ-3 group(CⅡ-3 of 16 mg/kg dosage being administered through the ear marginal vein for 3 consecutive days before TAE).Chemical colorimetry was used to detect the preoperative and postoperative serum ALT and AST of each group.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expression levels of PPAR-α and NF-κB in para-cancerous liver tissue.The levels of intercellular adhesion molecule-1(ICAM-1)and vascular cell adhesion molecule-1(VCAM-1)were measured by ELISA.The mRNA expression levels of PPAR-α,NF-κB,ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 in para-cancerous liver tissue were detected by RT-PCR.Results In the control group,TAE group and C Ⅱ-3 group,the preoperative ALT levels were(34.49±1.33)U/L,(34.01±1.21)U/Land(34.06±1.23)U/L respectively,and the preoperative AST levels were(38.44±1.41)U/L,(38.45±1.47)U/L and(38.42±1.38)U/L respectively;the postoperative ALT levels were(35.61±1.56)U/L,(118.67±3.39)U/L and(87.24±3.67)U/L respectively,and the postoperative AST levels were(41.03±1.83)U/L,(220.60±3.00)U/L and(104.46±2.66)U/L respectively.Compared with the control group,in the TAE group and C Ⅱ-3 group the AST levels were apparently elevated,but the levels of ALT and AST in the C Ⅱ-3 group were obviously lower than those in the TAE group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.05).In control group,TAE group and CⅡ-3 group,the ICAM-1 levels were(1.74±0.13)ng/L,(3.43±0.19)ng/L and(1.81±0.13)ng/L respectively;the VCAM-1 levels were(1.66±0.05)ng/L,(2.18±0.06)ng/L and(1.67±0.06)ng/L respectively;the number of experimental rabbits with positive PPAR-α were 4,3,and 10 respectively;the number of experimental rabbits with positive NF-κB were 2,11 and 3 respectively.In TAE group the positive rate of NF-κB,and the levels of NF-κB mRNA,ICAM-1,VCAM-1 protein and mRNA levels were significantly increased;the levels of PPAR-α protein and mRNA in the C Ⅱ-3 group were prominently increased when compared with the control group and TAE group,and the differences were statistically significant(all P＜0.01).Conclusion Through antagonizing the expression of NF-κB and reducing ICAM-1 and VCAM-1 levels,C Ⅱ-3 alleviate the inflammatory response,thus reducing the liver injury after TAE.

OBJECTIVE: We hypothesize that the amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations (ALFF) is involved in the altered regional baseline brain function in social anxiety disorder (SAD). The aim of the study was to analyze the altered baseline brain activity in drug-naive adult patients with SAD. METHODS: We investigated spontaneous and baseline brain activities by obtaining the resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging data of 20 drug-naive adult SAD patients and 19 healthy controls. Voxels were used to analyze the ALFF values using one- and two-sample t-tests. A post-hoc correlation of clinical symptoms was also performed. RESULTS: Our findings show decreased ALFF in the bilateral insula, left medial superior frontal gyrus, left precuneus, left middle temporal gyrus, right middle temporal pole, and left fusiform gyrus of the SAD group. The SAD patients exhibited significantly increased ALFF in the right inferior temporal gyrus, right middle temporal gyrus, bilateral middle occipital gyrus, orbital superior frontal gyrus, right fusiform gyrus, right medial superior frontal gyrus, and left parahippocampal gyrus. Moreover, the Liebowitz Social Anxiety Scale results for the SAD patients were positively correlated with the mean Z values of the right middle occipital and right inferior occipital but showed a negative correlation with the mean Z values of the right superior temporal gyrus and right medial superior frontal gyrus. CONCLUSION: These results of the altered regional baseline brain function in SAD suggest that the regions with abnormal spontaneous activities are involved in the underlying pathophysiology of SAD patients.

Objective To establish and evaluate the application of modified capillary immunotyping for cryoglobulin qualification .Methods Referred to literature and benchwork experience , a modified capillary immunotyping technique was set up for cryoglobulin identification . Seventy-eight cryoglobulin positive specimens were collected by a standard method in Peking Union Medical College Hospital from November 2016 to July 2017.Thirty-nine samples were identified the type of the cryoglobulin simultaneously by modified capillary immunotyping ( CI ) and immunofixation electrophoresis ( IFE ) .Results Using the modified capillary immunotyping method , the types of cryoglobulin in seventy-eight specimens were identified.The number of cases decreased in the order of Ⅲ, Ⅱ and Ⅰ type of cryoglobulin .The clinical characteristics coincidence with previous reports .The modified CI method had a dramatic advantage in the speed, clarity, and accuracy of results compared with IFE .The ratio of reportable cases between these two methods was 1:0.87.Conclusion The modified capillary immunotyping was an accurate and easy method for cryoglobulin qualification , and feasible for clinical application .

Objective To explore the relationship between plasma microRNA 126 ( miR-126 ) level and coronary collateral circulation ( CCC) formation and to determine whether the miR-126 in plasma could serve as a blood-based biomarker for CCC in patients with severely narrowed coronary arteries ( CAD ).Methods In this prospective study , a total of 120 consecutive CAD patients with ≥95% stenosis in one epicardial coronary artery were enrolled.Thirty healthy people served as normal control.They were divided into two groups according to Rentrop grades:patients with grade 2 and 3 collateral development ( good CCC group, n=64) and patients with grade 0 and 1 collateral development (poor CCC group, n=56).Plasma miR-126 was measured by RT-PCR and serum VEGF was evaluated by ELISA method.Results Fasting plasma glucose ( FPG) was significantly lower in patients with good CCC than in patients with poor CCC ((5.99 ±1.48) mmol/L vs.(6.40 ±2.50) mmol/L).Plasma miR-126 levels and VEGF levels were significantly lower in CAD patients than in healthy people (0.04 ±0.01 vs.0.07 ±0.02, P=0.023 and (2 110 ±455) ng/L vs.(2 574 ±450) ng/L, P=0.011, respectively).miR-126 and VEGF levels were significantly higher in good CCC group than in poor CCC group ( miR-126:0.06 ±0.02 vs.0.03 ±0.01, P=0.021;VEGF:(2 549 ±614) ng/L vs.(1 759 ±452) ng/L, P=0.008).In CAD patients with good CCC, the miR-126 level was positively correlated to the VEGF expression (r =0.712,P=0.005) while there was no correlation between miR-126 level VEGF in CAD patients with poor CCC ( r =0.342, P =0.483).Multivariate analysis revealed that plasma miR-126 ( OR=2.145,95%CI 1.691 -2.988, P =0.001) and VEGF ( OR =1.279, 95%CI 1.068 -2.295, P =0.013 ) were independent predictors of collateral formation in patients with severely narrowed coronary arteries.In CAD patients , the area under the miR-126 ROC curve is 0.951 ( P=0.002).Conclusion Plasma miR-126 level is positively correlated to the CCC formation and is an independent predictor of CCC development in patients with severely narrowed coronary arteries , suggesting that plasma miR-126 might be a useful new , stable blood biomarker for predicting CCC formation in patients with severely narrowed coronary arteries.

Objective To observe the changes of electroencephalogram (EEG) signal during the resting state in adolescents with smoking addiction.Methods Spectral analysis during the resting state was used to observe and analyze the EEG signals between adolescents with smoking addiction (n=21) and nosmoking control group (n=21) by using Brain Vision Analyzer software.Results Compared with the nosmoking control group,adolescents with smoking addiction showed increased alpha band signals in 3 brain regions (including left-anterior,right-anterior and midline-anterior regions,P＜0.05),and decreased delta band signals in 3 brain regions (including right-posterior,midline-anterior and midline-posterior regions,P＜0.05).Moreover,the signals in these brain regions were positively correlated with pack-years (alpha band:left-anterior(r=0.648,P=0.003),right-anterior (r=0.629,P=0.004),midline-anterior (r=0.456,P=0.043);delta band:right-posterior (r=0.602,P =0.005),midline-anterior (r =0.533,P=0.019),midline-posterior (r=0.692,P=0.001))in adolescents with smoking addiction.Conclusion The changes of EEG signals during the resting state in adolescents with smoking addiction may be associated with cumulative effects of smoking.

Objective To investigate the change of the error positivity(Pe)of event-related poten-tial(ERP)under Flanker task in adolescents with smoking addiction. Method The signals of ERP during the Flanker task in fifteen adolescents with smoking addiction were compared with that of 15 non-smoking ad-olescents. Results The Pe amplitude in adolescents with smoking addiction((3.575±2.299)μV)was sig-nificantly lower than that of non-smokers((5.865 ± 4.290)μV)(F=5.324,P=0.029),and the reaction time of the Flanker task in smoking addiction adolescent group((440.754± 36.051)ms)was significantly higher than that in the control group((422.850±20.194)ms)(F=0.620,P<0.05).The Pe amplitude in ado-lescents with smoking addiction was positively correlated with smoking index(pack-years)(r=0.599,P=0.018). Conclusion The adolescents with smoking addiction may exit worse ability of error monitoring dur-ing the Flanker task.

Objective:To investigate the prevalence of pre-diabetes mellitus (PDM) and the impact of occupation-related factors on PDM, among workers from a steel company in Tangshan city, Hebei province.Methods:Clustering sampling method was used to select a steel company and to carry out occupational health-related physical checkup programs for eligible workers who had working in this company for longer than one year. The study began in February and ended up in June, 2017. Workers who were with FPG level as ≤6.9 mmol/L, and free from diabetes, were selected as the subjects for this study. Questionnaires were used and physical examinations and FPG testing conducted.Results:The total number of subjects in this study was 4 173, of which 2 648 appeared as pre-diabetic, with the prevalence rate as 63.4 %. Increase of the PDM prevalence was in parallel with the length of service, among the workers. The risk for the pre-diabetes in those who worked more than 8 hours per day was 1.696 times higher than those who worked less than or equal to 8 h/d (95 %CI:1.517-1.937). Compared with those workers without exposures to heat, noise or carbon monoxides, the proportion of pre-diabetes appeared higher in workers exposed to heat, noise or CO with OR=1.782 (95 %CI: 1.205-2.636), 1.815 (95 %CI: 1.209-2.794) and 1.653 (95 %CI: 1.158-2.361), respectively. Risks for those who were exposed to heat or noise were higher than those who were free from exposure to any occupational hazards ( OR=2.098, 95 %CI: 1.296-3.397). Prevalence rates of pre-diabetes in those who were exposed to heat, noise or CO, were higher than that those who were not. Conclusion:Working hours and exposures to heat, noise or CO appeared as influential factors on PDM.
