Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2003;0(10):-
Objective To explore the relationship between cat fur or dog fur allergens and clinical presentation, as well as allergenic cross-reactivity between cat fur or dog fur allergens and other allergens. Methods Totally 548 children with allergic disorders were assayed with 13 international standard allergen agents by means of SPT. The results were denominated according to the size of skin areola or welt, reference histamine as positive, isotonic Na chloride as negative. Results In 143 children with cat fur allergenic SPT position, 98 cases were boys and 45 cases were girls with an average age of 5. 84 years. In 96 children with dog fur allergenic SPT positive,60 cases were boys and 36 cases were girls with an average age of 6.06 years. The most had occurred in summer. Of them,a large number of cases presented asthma, secondly presented mild cough. Besides, the cross- reactivity of cat fur and dog fur allergenic SPT positive in 64 cases with acarid was most common, followed by latex, which exceeded animal protein, while the cross - reactivity of mold, plant farina and chomophyte allergens were rare. Conclusions About 20% children with allergic disorders are cat fur or dog fur allergenic SPT positive. Cat fur or dog fur allergenic SPT positive results are significantly correlative to age and season, however they are not relative.to sex. Cat fur or dog fur allergens exist correlations with other allergens.

Objective :
To explore the influencing factors for maternal anemia during the third trimester of pregnancy, so as to provide the evidence for the effective prevention of anemia.
Methods :
Data of parturients, who received prenatal care and delivered at Hangzhou Women's Hospital from October to December of 2019 were retrospectively collected and analyzed. The obstetric electronic medical record system of this hospital was used to collect general information of the subjects. Serum ferritin, serum vitamin B12, serum folic acid and hemoglobin were determined at the second and third trimester. A multivariate logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors for anemia in the third trimester.
Results :
A total of 1 143 parturients were enrolled, with a median age of 29 ( interquartile range: 4 ) years. Among them, 1 050 cases had normal weight before pregnancy, accounting for 91.86%; 267 cases were multiparas, accounting for 23.36%; 74 cases of anemia occurred during the third trimester of pregnancy, accounting for 6.92%.Multivariate logistic regression analysis indicated that the multipara(OR=1.714,95%CI: 1.032-2.848), iron deficiency duiring the second trimester(OR=3.301,95%CI: 1.401-7.781), iron deficiency during the third trimester (OR=14.134,95%CI: 1.944-102.774)and folate deficiency during the third trimester(OR=2.960,95%CI: 1.295-6.766)were influencing factors for anemia during the third trimester.
Conclusion
Anemia during the third trimester of pregnancy is related to iron deficiency during the second and third trimesters, folic acid deficiency during the third trimester, and multipara.

Objective:To observe the effect of Radix Paeoniae Bubra(RPB)on NADPH oxidase p22phox,monocyte chemotactic protein-1(MCP-1)mRNA expression and neointimal hyperplasia after carotid artery balloon injury in cholesterol-fed rabbits. Methods:The rabbit model of carotid balloon injury was established adopting Clowes method, and treated with extract of RPB.Component of neointima and expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen(PCNA)and macrophage was determined by immunochemical stain. The collagen of typeⅠwas detected by special staining for blood vessels and the area of neointima was measured by image assay system.Expression of NADPH oxidase p22phox mRNA,MCP-1 mRNA was detected by in situ hybridization and transcription-polymerase chain reaction. Results:RPB can attenuate the neointima area and proliferation of collagen typeⅠinduced by balloon-injury,remarkable prevent the formation of restenosi, and down-regulate expression of NADPH oxidase p22 and MCP-1mRNA significantly and decrease the degree of macrophages infiltration especially in vessel wall of injuring carotid artery. Conclusions:RPB inhibited NADPH oxidase P22Phox and MCP-1 mRNA expression, and modestly reduced neointimal hyperplasia, which might be partly attributed to its antioxidant and inflammatory effects.

Chinese Journal of Medical Instrumentation 2002;26(3):167-169
Focused Ultrasound Surgery (FUS) is a promising minimally invasive technique in tissue ablation. Because of the high intensity at the ultrasound focus, a precise 3D-localization system is required to determine the site of the treating target in order to increase the efficiency and security of FUS. This paper represents a three dimensional ultrasound (3D US) localization system developed and its workflow. The system is mainly composed of imaging and image processing system, movement device and its controlling circuits, and position feedback device. The system has a maximum scan range of +/- 30 degrees with a resolution of 8 levels from 0.54' to 0.36 degrees. For a spherical shape like target, in theory, the maximum diameter is 160 mm the system can treat. The system can be used to localize precisely the treatment targets with general sizes in the suitable parts of the body in FUS.

Chinese Journal of Digestive Endoscopy 2009;26(11):575-579
Objective To evaluate the narrow-band imaging (NBI) in differential diagnosis of colo-rectal proliferative lesions. Methods Suspected lesions in colon were examined with white light and NBI colonoscopy, respectively. The ensitivity and specificity in diagnosing colorectal inflammatory hyperplasia, adenoma, early cancer and advanced cancer were compared between NBI and conventional colonoscopy with reference to pathology as gold standard. The pit patterns and the surface microvessels of the lesions were also determined and scored with NBI combined with magnifying endoscopy, and were compared with pathological diagnosis. Results (1) A total of 368 lesions were detected in 280 patients with conventional colonoscopy and NBI. The sensitivity and specificity of NBI in differential diagnosis of colorectal lesions were superior to those of conventional colonoscopy. (2) The pit patterns of colorectal inflammatory hyperplasia were mainly type Ⅰ and Ⅱ , while in adenomas were mainly type Ⅱ and Ⅲ (94. 2%). The pit patterns of early cancer were type Ⅲ (18. 8%), Ⅳ (56. 3%) and Ⅴ (25.0%), and those of advanced cancer were mainly type Ⅴ (94. 0%). (3) The average scores of surface microvesseis of colorectal inflammatory hyperplasia, ade-noma, early cancer and advanced cancer were 1.35 ± 0. 72, 3. 86 ±1.07, 6. 52±2. 59 and 11.42 ± 3.59, respectively. Scores over 6. 5 was a strong indicator of malignant lesions. Conclusion NBI is superior to conventional eolonoscopy in differential diagnosis of colorectal lesions. Observing pit patterns and microves-sels of the lesion with combination of NBI and magnifying endoscopy is helpful in diagnosis.
