To analyze the causes and treatments of high intraocular pressure ( > 21mmHg ) of angle - closure glaucoma underwent compound trabeculectomy 1mo after surgery.
●METHODS: This was a retrospective study of our hospital, from March 2010 to March 2013. Thirty-four (38 eyes) of angle-closure glaucoma patients were collected, who underwent compound trabeculectomy with high intraocular pressure ( > 21mmHg) 1mo after operation. We analyzed the causes and summarized the treatments.
●RESULTS:The causes which lead to early postoperative high intraocular pressure included malignant glaucoma (9 eyes of 8 cases), blood clot and connective tissue block under the scleral flap (15 eyes of 13 cases), hyphema after surgery(5 eyes of 5 cases), sclera flap incision was incarcerated with iris tissue ( 3 eyes of 3 cases ), preoperative high intraocular pressure for a long time(5 eyes of 4 cases), 1 eye of 1 case for unknown reason. After proper treatments, intraocular pressures of all patients were bellowed 21mmHg.
● CONCLUSlON: Early postoperative high intraocular pressure of angle - closure glaucoma underwent compound trabeculectomy is caused by various factors, and the early prevention and timely treatment are key points of a successful operation.

Chinese Journal of Endemiology 2012;31(4):409-411
Objective To analyze the epidemic situation of human brucellosis in Qinghai province,in order to provide a theoretical basis for prevention and treatment of brucellosis. Methods Five counties in Qinghai province(Ping'an county,Haiyan county,Tianjun county,Dari county and Henan county) were selected as monitoring counties in 2010,and three or four townships were selected as monitoring points in each county.People aged 7 to 60 close contacted with livestock were monitored. The methods of rose bengal plate agglutination test(RBPT) and standard tube agglutination test (SAT) were used for serological testing.Brucellosis diagnosis was based on Brucellosis Diagnostic Criteria(WS 269-2007).Results A total of 2021 high-risk subjects from 5 counties were examined for brucellosis, and 76(by RBPT) of them were serologically confirmed with a positive rate of 3.76% (76/2021),SAT positive 15 persons, the average positive rate was 0.74% (15/2021).The number of infections was 15 cases, average prevalence was 0.74%(15/2021 ),and 3 new eases were discovered. The seasonal peak of incidence was from February to June. Most of the eases were reported dealing with slaughtering and fur processing. Conclusions The main reasons for epidemic rise are that the source of infection is not completely clear and weak awareness of self-protection in employees. So we must strengthen the quarantine,do surveillance on occupational groups and epidemic reporting work, carry out vocational training, strengthen publicity and education, and enhance the protection awareness. Thus brucellosis epidemic will be effectively controlled.
6. Calcium citrate: An interesting organic calcium biomedical material
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2020;25(10):1609-1615
BACKGROUND: Calcium citrate has been used as calcium supplement, anticoagulant, anti-inflammatory agent and bone repair material in biomedical fields. OBJECTIVE: To describe the basic properties of calcium citrate, summarize and discuss the preparation process of calcium citrate and its main applications in biomedical field. METHODS: The research literature related to calcium citrate was searched on the Web of science, CNKI, Medline and other databases by computer. The main key words were “calcium citrate, bone repairing material, citrate and calcium phosphate” in English and “calcium citrate, bone repair materials” in Chinese. The searching time was from February 1920 to February 2020. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: With the development and exploration of medical materials, it is necessary to change the original process to improve the biological activity of medical calcium citrate. It is an inevitable trend to obtain calcium citrate with various micro-morphology and high biological activity by controllable synthesis method. Calcium citrate is widely used as calcium supplement, anti-inflammatory agent, anticoagulant, bone repair material and other non-medical applications. Its advantages are being gradually explored by researchers. The preparation method plays a decisive role in the application field of calcium citrate. Different internal structure and size will bring different application fields, from the smallest chemical bond connection to the macroscopic morphology or mechanical properties. These factors may be the results of the dedicated exploration of researchers.

Objective To evaluate the intra-and inter-rater reliability of MyotonPRO for Achilles tendon properties measured. Methods Twenty healthy subjects were recruited to measure Achilles tendon properties using a novel hand-held Myoton-PRO device by two testers, one of the testers re-tested five days later. The reliability was assessed using in-tra-class correlation coefficient (ICC) and Bland-Altman analysis, and minimum detectable changes (MDC) was calculated. The Achilles tendon properties of the dominant or non-dominant leg was compared. The correlation between body mass and Achilles tendon properties was examined. Results The intra-rater reliabilities of Achilles tendon properties were ICCleft=0.884 and ICCright=0.904; the inter-rater reli-abilities were ICCleft=0.883 and ICCright=0.945. The MDC was 36.64 N/m. Bland-Altman plots showed good agreement. There was no significant difference in Achilles tendon properties between dominant and non-domi-nant legs (t<1.236, P>0.05). The body mass positively correlated with Achilles tendon properties (r>0.477, P<0.05). Conclusion The intra-and inter-rater reliabilities of MyotonPRO were good in measuring Achilles tendon properties in healthy subjects. No significant difference was found between dominant and non-dominant legs. The body mass positively correlated with Achilles tendon properties in healthy subjects.
