1.Overview on method and strategy of therapeutic material basis in traditional Chinese medicine by multidisciplinary approach.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has a good reputation for preventing or healing diseases in clinic due to its higher efficacy, minor toxicity and abundant resources. Screening bioactive components in TCMs is not only crucial for clarifying their action mechanisms, but also the basis of their safety and quality control. TCM is characterized by multiple components, multiple targets and multiple mechanisms, however the complex composition of TCM makes it difficult to study the therapeutic material basis which has become the bottleneck in the process of its modernization and internationalization. Recently, with the rapid development of modern technologies and the unceasing progress of various disciplines, multidisciplinary approach, such as analytical chemistry, chemistry of TCM, pharmacology, cell biology, systems biology and bioinformatics has been successfully applied to the study of TCM. Multidisciplinary approach realizes the communication and interaction of multi-discipline, and accelerates the research and development of TCM. This review summarizes the application of multidisciplinary approach which may have certain potential of bringing new thoughts to TCM research and provide references for screening and identification of therapeutic material basis of TCMs.

2.Effect of Glutamine on Expressions of Nuclear Factor-?B and Heat Shock Protein 70 in Brain of Young Rats Induced by Endotoxin

Objective To explore the effect of glutamine(Gln) on expression of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-?B) and heat shock protein 70(HSP70) in brain of young rats induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS).Methods Ten days old Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups by injection intraperitoneally different agonts,LPS group,normal saline control group(NS group) and Gln group(Gln 1.346 g/kg,1 hour before LPS).NF-?B and HSP70 distribution and expression in brain were deteted by immunohistochemistry.The levels of HSP70 in rats brain induced by LPS were detected by Western blot.SPSS 12.0 software was used.Results The nuclei of neuron in cerebral cortex in LPS group obviously cleared at 6 hours.The positive stain of nuclei in Gln group at 2 hours could not be seen.The stain of nuclei in cerebral cortex was weakened in LPS group at 6 hours by immunohistochemistry.HSP70 protein expression decreased with the measurement of Western blot,especially at 24 hours.HSP70 expression in LPS group was similar as that in NS group.The stain of nuclei in neuron in Gln group at 2 hours increased.It also showed the amount of protein expression increased in Western blot in group Gln at 2,6,12,24 hours(Pa
3.Clinical value of C - reactive protein, erythrocyte sedimentation rate and white blood cell count in patients with ocular syphilis

AIM:To explore the clinical value of combined detection of C-reactive protein ( CRP ) , erythrocyte sedimentation rate ( ESR) and white blood cell ( WBC) count in patients with ocular syphilis.
METHODS:Dates of CRP, ESR, WBC, TPPA and RPR of 51 ophthalmopathy patients caused by syphilis and 50 normal control from Jan. 2012 to Dec. 2015 in eye hospital were recruited and analyzed statistically.
RESULTS:The positive rates of CRP, ESR and WBC of oculopathy patients were 16%, 18% and 39%, respectively, which were higher than those in the control group. In patients group, the positive rate of ESR was higher than CRP and WBC. There were no obvious relationships between RPR titers and positive ratios of CRP, WBC and ESR.
CONCLUSION: The blood level of CRP, WBC and ESR may have certain help in estimating and monitoring condition of patients with ocular syphilis.
5.Assessment on changes of anterior chamber parameters after ICL surgery with Allegro Oculyzer system and their correlation with IOP

Abstract? AIM: To investigate changes of anterior chamber parameters after posterior chamber phakic implantable collamer lens ( ICL ) surgery and its correlation with intraocular pressure ( IOP) .?METHODS: This was a retrospective case series study. Seventy four eyes in 43 myopia patients were examined by Allegro Oculyzer anterior segment tomography to obtain the changes of anterior chamber volume ( ACV ) , anterior chamber angle ( ACA) , central anterior chamber depth ( ACD) and vault, meanwhile, to measure the IOP to analyze the correlation with anterior chamber parameters.?RESULTS: Compared with preoperative, ACV, ACA, ACD all decreased apparently ( P <0.01 ) in the postoperative period of 1, 3, and 6mo.ACV, ACA and ACD showed their stability in each period after the surgery.There were changes of vault in 1 and 6mo ( t=27.66, P=0.01).IOP had not altered when compared with the preoperative.This research revealed that IOP had no relation with ACV, ACA, ACD and vault in every phase( all P>0.05).?CONCLUSION:For patients underwent ICL, the anterior chamber parameters all decreased which included ACV, ACA, ACD, and had stabilized since early postoperative period. Correspondingly, IOP was stable and had not correlate with ACV, ACA, ACD and vault, however the long-term observation is still necessary.
6. Expression of retinoic acid receptor in the mouse embryonic hematopoiesis

Objective To investigate the expression of retinoic acid receptors (RARs) subtypes RAR-α, RAR-β, RAR-γ and retinal dehydrogenases 1(Ra/dh1), Raldh2 in the mouse embryonic hematopoiesis, so as to discuss the role of different RAR subtypes in embryonic hematopoiesis. Methods The yolk sac (YS) at embryonic day 9. 5 (E9. 5), aortagonad- mesonephros (AGM) region at E10. 5 and E11. 5, fetal liver (FL) at E13. 5, E14. 5 and E17. 5 were harvested from the pregnant mice. The bonemarrow (BM) was also harvested from adult mice. The mRNA levels of RAR-α, RAR-β, RAR-γ, Raldh1 and Raldh2 at the above four different hematopoietic sites were assessed by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT PCR). Results The mRNA levels of RAR-α, RAR-β, RAR-γ, RaldhX and Raldh2 at E9. 5 YS, E11. 5 AGM regions and BM were significantly higher than those in other relevant hematopoietic tissues (P<0. 01). Compared with the E10. 5 AGM region, E11. 5 AGM region had significantly increasedmRNA levels of RAR-α, RAR-β, RAR-γ, Raldh1 and Raldh2 (P<0. 01), but the mRNA levels of these genes in FL at E13. 5-E17. 5 were not significantly different. Conclusion The expressions of RAR-α, RAR-β, RAR-γ, Raldh1 and Raldh2 in YS, AGM regions and BM are consistent with the situation of colony forming unit erythroid (CFU-E), suggesting that retinoic acid is closely related to the formation of hematopoiesis in the YS, AGM region and BM in mouse, but has less correlation with the FL in mouse.
7.Effect of Action Observation Therapy on Upper Limb Function in Children with Spastic Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy

Objective To explore the effect of action observation therapy (AOT) on upper limb function in children with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy,and the better program. Methods From March to November,2017,45 children with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy were randomly assigned to control group and AOT group.The control group was further divided into group A(n=11)and group B(n=11), and received conventional rehabilitation treatment and scenic-observation therapy, 20 minutes every time for group A,and 30 minutes every time for group B.AOT group was further divided into group C(n=10)and group D (n=11), and received AOT in addition, 20 minutes every time for group C, and 30 minutes every time for group D,five times each week for twelve weeks for all the groups.Before treatment,eight and twelve weeks af-ter treatment, they were assessed with hand grip strength, Upper Extremities Functions Test (UEFT), and Wee Functional Independence Measure(WeeFIM). Results After treatment,the hand grip strength and the score of UEFT were better in group D than in groups B and C(P<0.05),and were better at twelve weeks than at eight weeks(P<0.05).No significant difference was found in the score of WeeFIM among groups after treatment(P>0.05). Conclusion AOT could improve upper limp function in children with spastic hemiplegic cerebral palsy,and it's more ef-fective after more training.
