OBJECTIVE:To understand the public cognitive status about the adverse drug reaction(ADR),and provide refer-ence for improving the ADR reporting system. METHODS:Field to fill out and recycling questionnaire on the spot were conducted to investigate the cognition of ADR about 1 379 people from the Pearl River Delta,Eastern,Western and Northern region of Guangdong Province, and analyze related influential factors. RESULTS:Totally 1 500 questionnaires were sent out and 1 379 were effective with effective rate of 91.9%. Among the respondents,931(67.5%)could correctly answer the question of ADR concept, the correct rate showed lowest in the people lived in Northern region and with no less than 40 years old and low education;only 36.1% could correctly know the cause of ADR;only 388 (28.1%) knew the individuals can report ADR;723 (52.4%) thought hospital should be held responsible for ADR;once the ADR appeared,62.2% of respondents would choose to report to the hospi-tal. The main causes of discourage individual report of ADR were due to less know about where, how and which relevant depart-ments could report, and the report way was not convenient and the procedures were cumbersome. CONCLUSIONS:The public awareness of the ADR concept is not high and the enthusiasm of report is relatively low. Therefore, the propaganda of public aware-ness of ADR should be strengthened to encourage the public to participate in the ADR report actively, and broaden the channels of ADR personal report.

Chinese Journal of Trauma 2009;25(7):653-657
Objective To explore a safe and high efficiency way of gene transfection of autocrine motility factor(AMF) in order to provide experimental basis for transplantation of myoblasts carrying AMF gone. Methods Sprague Dawley rat myoblasts were cultured, purified, proliferated and immunohisto-chemically verified. Then, the myoblasts were transfected with AMF and eGFP (enhanced green fluores-cent protein) gene by FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus). Fluorescence microscope and laser scanning confocal microscope were employed to detect eGFP so as to verify positive transfection rate. Expression of AMF was detected by immunohistochemical method. Results Myoblasts with 98% purity could he ob-tained after two weeks of primary culture and purification. Positive transfection rate reached 90.4% when MOI (multiplicity of infection) was 100 (P <0.01). The transfected AMF gene could express normally. Conclusions Explant culture is a proper way in rat myoblast culture. Meanwhile, AMF gene can he effectively transfected into rat myoblast and well expressed via FIV.

Chinese Journal of Modern Nursing 2011;17(16):1892-1894
Objective To explore the effects of diclofenac sodium suppository in episiotomy suture operation and observe its postoperative analgesia ability. Methods 182 episiotomy maternal were collected and divide into observation group (n=89) and control group (n=94) randomly. All the individuals were treated with episiotomy under local anesthesia. Observation group was treated with diclofenac sodium suppository in rectum in second stage of labor and 6h after labor respectively. Episiotomy wound pain in and after operation, suture time, third stage of labor and bleeding after labor were observed. Results Analgesia effects, suture time and duration of analgesia were different between the two groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01); third stage of labor and bleeding after labor did not reach the statistical difference between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusions Diclofenac sodium suppository was effective in analgesia applied in episiotomy suture operation, could shorten suture time and worthy of clinical use.

China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(6):1088-1092
OBJECTIVETo investigate the protective effects of Jiedu Tongluo injection on cerebral edema induced by focal lesion of cerebral ischemia/reperfusion, the hydrous content of brain and the expressions of intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1), vascular cell adhesion molecule-1 (VCAM-1), E-selectin and MMP-9 in rats.
METHODThe model of brain middle cerebral artery ischemia/reperfusion was established by the thread approach. After 24 hours of reperfusion, cerebral edema formation was determined by the hydrous content of brain. The permeability of blood brain barrier was evaluated based on the leakage of Evans blue. Enzyme-linked immunoadsordent assay (ELISA)was used to examine the expression of ICAM-1, VCAM-1, E-selectin. The expression of MMP-9 was measured by immunohistochemistry.
RESULTJDTL, in the dose of 2 mL x kg(-1) and 4 mL x kg(-1), relieved cerebral edema (P < 0.05, P < 0.01), reduced the expressions of ICAM-1, VCAM-land E-selectin and decreased MMP-9 activity (P < 0. 05, P < 0.01) in model rats.
CONCLUSIONJiedu Tongluo injection has a protective effect on rat brain from cerebral edema induced by the injury of focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion. The mechanism is related to that Jiedu Tongluo injection can reduce the expressions of ICAM-1, VCAM-1 and E-selectin and inhibit of MMP-9 activation in rat brain.

Virologica Sinica 2001;16(2):128-130
Objective To compare the Immunoreactivity of various HEV Antigen with Anti-HEV IgM. Methods Solid-phase enzyme immunoassay( EIA ) was developed for detecting anti-HEV IgM by using synthetic peptides E30, E42, E33, and recombinant antigen from HEV ORF-2. Results Of 60 anti-HEV positive sera by using E30, E42, E33 and recombinant antigen as coating antigen, Anti-HEV IgM positive rates were 76.7%, 26.6%, 18.3% and 66.7% respectively. In Acute-phase and convalescence-phase sera of the patients with Hepatitis E, Anti-HEV IgM positive rate was 90% and 3.3% respectively. Conclusions The HEV E30-based EIA will be very useful in the early diagnosis of Hepatitis E.

Aims: A new methanogenic strain, named GFJ07, was isolated from a pond of mountain forests in Guangxi, China. Cells grown in liquid culture tended to form aggregates with pseudosarcina-like or irregular shape.
Methodology and Results: The optimum temperature, pH and NaCl concentration were 35 ℃, 7.0 and 0.5%, respectively. The isolate used methanol, trimethylamine, acetate and H2-CO2 as substrates. Analysis of the 16S rDNA sequences revealed strain GFJ07 showed the highest sequence similarity of 99.9% to Methanosarcina mazei.
Conclusion, significance and impact of study: The cells were Gram positive and nonmotile. Most of single cell grew as a sausage-like clinder about 0.5 μm in diameter and 1.0 μm in length.

Chinese Journal of Epidemiology 2012;33(6):617-621
To explore the effect of magnitude and duration on the performance of Cumulative Sum (CUSUM),with simulation method used on the subject after the insertion of 11 outbreak events into baseline data with Poisson distribution.Sensitivity fluctuated from 9.1% to 100.0% with specificities higher than 98.6%.Sensitivity was significantly correlated with magnitude, and increased along with the increase of magnitude. However,no significant correlation was observed between sensitivity and duration.A magnitude which was at least 2.6 times higher than that of the mean daily baseline could result in the sensitivity of 100.0%.Time-lag would be improved along with the increase of magnitude.Time between onset and detection of an outbreak was no longer than one day when magnitude was more than 1.8 of the mean daily baseline. In summary, the performance of CUSUM was influenced by magnitude, but not by duration.CUSUM had the advantage of good time-lag and high sensitivity when the outbreak magnitude was more than 2.4 time over the baseline data.
