Objective To explore the effect of glutamine(Gln) on expression of nuclear factor kappa B(NF-?B) and heat shock protein 70(HSP70) in brain of young rats induced by lipopolysaccharide(LPS).Methods Ten days old Wistar rats were randomly divided into 3 groups by injection intraperitoneally different agonts,LPS group, normal saline control group(NS group) and Gln group(Gln 1.346 g/kg,1 hour before LPS).NF-?B and HSP70 distribution and expression in brain were deteted by immunohistochemistry. The levels of HSP70 in rats brain induced by LPS were detected by Western blot.SPSS 12.0 software was used. Results The nuclei of neuron in cerebral cortex in LPS group obviously cleared at 6 hours. The positive stain of nuclei in Gln group at 2 hours could not be seen. The stain of nuclei in cerebral cortex was weakened in LPS group at 6 hours by immunohistochemistry.HSP70 protein expression decreased with the measurement of Western blot, especially at 24 hours.HSP70 expression in LPS group was similar as that in NS group. The stain of nuclei in neuron in Gln group at 2 hours increased. It also showed the amount of protein expression increased in Western blot in group Gln at 2,6,12,24 hours(Pa

Objective To explore the effect of different frequencies interference of electoracupuncture on acute stress of C57BL/6 mice. Methods Thirty male C57BL/6 mice were randomly divided into model group,2Hz electroacupunture group and 100 Hz electroacupunture group. After interfering 7 days by electroacupuncture, all the mice were carried forced swimming tests and tail suspension test, and the immobility time in 5 minutes were taken down. Results The immobility time of forced swimming test and tail suspension test of 2 Hz eletroacupuncture group(32.00±14.73)s,(72.50±20.44)s was shorter than those of 100 Hz electoracupuncture group(145.60±34.62)s,(124.22±21.67)s( P <0.05); and the immobility time of 2 Hz eletroacupuncture group was shorter than that of model group(129.50±33.94)s,(142.23±20.05)s( P <0.05); but the immobility time of 100 Hz electroacupuncture group was no difference with that of model group( P >0.05). Conclusions The effect of 2 Hz eletroacupuncture could improve the behaviors of the acute stress of C57BL/6 mice and had the more effectiveness on anti-depression.

Existing reporting guidelines for systematic reviews/Meta-analysis (SRs/MAs) cannot meet the requirements of clinical practice and scientific research, so based on evidence, methods and thoughts on establishing reporting guidelines for TCM-featured acupuncture systematic reviews/Meta-analysis were proposed. Through literature analysis, according to evidence-based principle, preliminary ideas on methodology of establishing reporting guidelines for TCM-featured acupuncture systematic reviews /Meta-analysis were proposed. With consensus as one main research method, it was proposed that in the consensus that was selected and established by experts, the pro- portion of Chinese scholars should be increased to fully declare the opinions of Chinese acupuncturists, and by verification of practice and application, the reporting guidelines for TCM-featured acupuncture systematic reviews/Meta-analysis can be finally made.

Objective To investigate immunophenotypic characteristics of uterine natural killer (uNK)cells and helper T cell 1/helper T cell 2(Th1/Th2)immunity in third trimester decidua in preeclampsia. Methods The proportions of uNK cell subsets, expression of CD_(69)and CD_(94)on uNK cells and Th1/Th2 immunity in decidua were determined in 20 cases of preeclampsia patients and 11 cases of normal term pregnancies by flow cytometric analysis. Results The percentage of CD_(56)~(bright)CD_(16)~-uNK cell subset in preeclampsia patients and the controls was(17.3?11.1)% vs(17.9?16.8)%,that of CD_(56)~(dim) CD_(16)~+uNK cell subset was(16.3?8.7)% vs(16.2?8.8)%;that of CD_(56)~+CD_(69)~+uNK cells was(37.9 ?18.9)% vs(36.8?19.7)%,that of CD_(56)~+CD_(94)~+uNK cells was(34.9?15.2)% vs(32.7?16.2)% and the ratio of CD_(56)~+CD_(69)~+/CD_(56)~+CD_(94)~+was 1.1?0.2,1.2?0.6.No statistical difference was shown in the above values between the preeclampsia patients and controls. The percentage of cytoto xic T cell(Tc)2 cells was significantly lower in the decidua of preeclampsia patients [(3.0?1.0)% vs(4.3?0.9)%,P= 0.001 ],and the ratio of Tc1/Tc2 in preeclampsia patients was significantly higher than that of normal term pregnancies(17.8?3.4 vs 11.8?4.6;P=0.001);the ratio of Th1/Th2 was increased(15.1?2.4 vs 13.2?3.1;P=0.06).Conclusions The immunophenotypie characteristics of uNK cells do not present any significant change in preeclampsia patients.Owing to Tc2 cell decrease, the Th1/Th2 immunity shifts to Th1 type immunity in the decidua, which might contribute to the pathogenesis of preeclampsia.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 2006;0(22):-
Objective To understand the status and drug resistant patterns of strains of extended spectrum ?-lactamase(ESBLs) in children with lower respiratory tract infection, and to give clinical suggestions for rational treatment. Methods Escherichia coli and klebsiella pneumoniae were isolated from the 2 969 nasopharyngeal secretions which collected from lower respiratory tract of children in our hospital from Jan.2006 to Dec. 2007.Dual-sheets and sheets-diffusing method (K-B method) were used to determine the ESBLs and antibiotic susceptibility was tested by K-B method which included 18 kinds of antibiotics, the results were marked by resistant, intermedial and sensitive.Chi-square test was used to analyze the data. Results Total 135 strains were detected,73 strains were escherichia coli,of which 54 strains(74.0%)produced ESBLs,62 strains were klebsiella pneumoniae,of which 33 strains(53.2%)produced ESBLs.The 2 bacterias were found more in children with 1-6 months old than those in other age groups, the ratio of which were 50 strains and 41 strains, respectively (Pa0.05).The resistant rate of ESBLs-producing strains to penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones, aminoglycosides and sulfamido was higher than that of non ESBLs-producing strains respectively. And the resistant rates to beta-lactam antibiotics of ESBLs strains were located on a high level.Whether producing ESBLs or not,the 2 bacterias were still sensitive to amikacin,cefoxitin,cefoperazone/sulbactam and imipenem. Conclusions The prevalences of ESBLs-producing escherichia and klebsiella pneumonia were high. There was a multi-drug resistance to the varied antibiotics. It is very important to make sputum culture and use sensitive antibiotics in treatment according to drug sensitivity test to control the occurrence and conveying of the ESBLs.
