The paper is aimed to establish a method of residue analysis for thiamethoxam and to study its degradation dynamic and final residue and its standard of safe application of thiamethoxam on Lonicera japonica. Samples extracted with methanol by ultrasonication were purified with dichloromethane by liquid-liquid extraction and SPE column and analysed by HPLC-UV. The results showed that average rate was 84.91%-94.44% and RSD 1.74%-4.96% with addition of thiamethoxam in respectively diverse concentration, which meets inspection requirement of pesticide residue. Two kinds of dosages of thiamethoxam were treated- varying from recommended dosage (90 g x hm(-2)) to high dosage (135 g x hm(-2)), Results of two years test showed that thiamethoxam was degraded more than 90% seven days after application and the half - life period of thiamethoxam was 1.54-1.66 d. The digestion rate of thiamethoxam was fast in the L. japonica. The recommended MRL of thiamethoxam in the L. japonica is 0.1 mg x kg(-1), the dosage of 25% thiamethoxam WDG from 90-135 g x hm(-2) is sprayed less than three times a year on L. japonica and 14 days is proposed for the safety interval of the last pesticide application's and harvest's date.

OBJECTIVETo establish and evaluate a BA-ELISA method for the quantitative detection of cystic fibrosis transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) protein.
METHODSWe deliberately selected three tables of CFTR and made the synthetic peptide be expressed in E. coli, then used the antigen to immunize rabbits to obtain the anti-CFTR polyclonal serum. After that, 96 well plates were coated with the purified antibody against CFTR. The antigen CFTR which was extracted from human sperm was detected by anti-CFTR antibody labeled with biotin, horseradish peroxidase conjugated avidin, and the substrate. The concentrations of two kinds of antibodies and the experiment parameters were optimized. Thereby, the double antibody sandwich BA-ELISA method for the quantitative detection of CFTR protein was established. Furthermore, the reproducibility, specificity and so on were evaluated by clinical specimens of sperm.
RESULTSThe optimal concentration of coated anti-CFTR IgG was 4 µg/ml, while the biotin labeled anti-CFTR IgG was 10 µg/ml; the optimal blocking buffer was 1% BSA-PBST, the optimal time of the reaction between antigen and antibody was 60 min, the optimal chromogenic time was 15 min, the intra-assay and inter-assay coefficient were 2.16%-9.23% and 2.29%-11.71% respectively; The lowest detectable limit was 0.15 ng/ml; the standard curve had a good linear correlation of R2 = 0.962.
CONCLUSIONThe BA-ELISA method for the quantitative detection of CTFR protein is successfully established, and it is demonstrated that the method has strong specificity, high sensitivity and good reproducibility. It provides the basis and evidence of the further application of the method.

The marine biological source of mineral drugs recorded in Chinese Pharmacopoeia (2010 version) mainly including pearl, nacre, clam shell, common oyster shell, ark shell, cuttle bone, and sea-ear shell are widely used in clinical. Calcium carbonate and a small amount of protein are the main components in this type of drugs. In this paper, a systematical and comparable study were carried out by determination of calcium carbonate by EDTA titration method, the crystal of calcium carbonate by X-Ray powder diffraction and the total amino acids (TAAs) of the hydrolyzed samples by ultraviolet spectrophotometry method. As a result, the crystal structure is calcite for common oyster shell, mixture of calcite and aragonite for nacre and sea-ear shell, aragonite for the other drugs. The content of calcium carbonate ranged from 86% to 96%. Cuttle bone has the highest amount of TAAs among the seven drugs which reached 1.7% while clam shell has the lowest content of 0.16% on average. In conclusion, an effective method was developed for the quality control of marine mineral drugs by comprehensive analysis of calcium carbonate and TAAs in the seven marine mineral drugs.

Objective To assess the effectiveness of treatment of meniscal injuries of knee joints by arthroscopy. Methods 33 patients 35 joints were followed up and the parts, types and treatment under arthroscopy were analysed. Results 33 patients were followed up from six months to six years, the mean preoperative Lysholm score was 60.5 points, and the mean postoperative one was 86.7 points. Conclusion The advantage of treating meniscal injuries by arthroscopy was the result of correct examination and little wound of arthroscopy operation, and arthroscopic repair or partial menisectomy could effectively restore the function of the injured knee.

Objective To study the expression of pl6, FHIT genes in cervical carcinoma and its clinical significance. Methods By immunohistochemistry SP method, the expression of pl6, FHIT in different 118 cases of cervical lesions were detected and the results were analyzed in combination with clinical pathological features. Results Of 118 patients, 15 cases suffered cervicitis;38 cases took place cervical tumor-like changes;65 cases caught cervical cancer. p16 expression rates were 0, 33.3 %, 70.0 %, 87.5 %,and 92.3 % respectively;while FHIT expression rates were 73.3 %, 75.5 %, 60.0 %, 37.5%, and 30.8 % respectively. Compared with cervicitis, pl6 and FHIT expression rates in the cervix tumor-like changes, cervical carcinoma had significant difference (P <0.05). There was positive correlation in protein expression between p16 and FHIT (x2 =33.33, P <0.001). Conclusion Combination of p16, FHIT detection can be used as early diagnostic tool of cervical lesions and cervical cancer markers;meanwhile, the method can serve as a clinical evaluation of tumor biological behavior and prognosis of auxiliary indexes.

National Journal of Andrology 2005;11(5):375-378
Diet has long been recognized as a strong factor in prostate carcinogenesis, with nutrients participating in either the development or the prevention of cancer. In this review, we concentrate on the role of dietary factors in prostate cancer development. The most significant dietary factors in prostate carcinogenesis are energy, total fat, animal fat, milk, calcium and red meat. However; evidence from case-control, epidemiological and laboratory studies does not support the causative role of any single nutritional component in prostate cancer development, and many questions remain to be further studied about the association of dietary factors with prostate cancer.
