Lung cancer is one of the most common malignancies. Anti-tumor drugs with intravenous administration have systemic adverse effects as well as limited efficacy. Drugs can concentrate in lungs after pulmonary administration,which limits the distribution in the other organs and reduces the side effects of anti-tumor drugs. The paper focused on the recent progress in the studies on new dos-age forms of anti-tumor drugs for pulmonary administration for the therapy of lung cancer,so as to provide reference for the development of anti-tumor drugs for pulmonary administration.

Objective To investigate the infection of Helicobacter pylori (Hp) and its relationships with hypertension, glucose and lipid metabolism in the physical examination population. Methods A total of 287 individuals undergoing physical examinations were selected as study subjects. Based on the results of ¹⁴C-urea breath test screening for Hp infection, participants were divided into Hp-positive group (n=125) and Hp-negative group (n=162). Baseline characteristics and glycolipid metabolism levels were compared between the two groups. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors influencing Hp infection in the study population. Results The Hp infection rate among the 287 individuals was 43.55%. The frequency of eating out in the Hp-positive group was 34.40%, which was significantly higher than 13.58% in the Hp-negative group (P < 0.05). Fasting blood glucose (FBG), insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR), total cholesterol (TC) and triacylglycerol (TG) in the HP-positive group were significantly higher, and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) was significantly lower than that in the Hp-negative group (P < 0.05). Multivariate Logistic regression analysis revealed that eating out (OR=1.401, 95%CI, 1.142 to 1.717), FBG (OR=3.865, 95%CI, 1.810 to 8.253), TC (OR=4.141, 95%CI, 2.025 to 8.469), TG (OR= 4.259, 95%CI, 2.128 to 8.524) and HDL-C (OR=4.125, 95%CI, 1.989 to 8.552) were factors influencing Hp infection in the study population (P < 0.05). HOMA-IR was not associated with Hp infection in the study population (P>0.05). Conclusion The prevalence of Hp infection is high among individuals undergoing physical examinations, and Hp infection has significant association with abnormalities in glycolipid metabolism, but no association with hypertension.

Objective:To investigate the application value of intraoperative motor nerve monitoring in cervical neurogenic tumor surgery.Methods:The efficacy of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM) was analyzed retrospectively in 18 patients, including 6 males and 12 females, aged from 15 to 74 years, treated in Affiliated Drum Tower Hospital, Medical School of Nanjing University from June 2019 to September 2022 who underwent total cystectomy of cervical neurogenic tumors under intraoperative nerve monitoring.Results:All 18 patients had complete tumor removal, including 8 patients with tumors from the vagus nerve and 10 patients with tumors from the brachial plexus nerve. Postoperative nerve functions were normal in patients with tumors from brachial plexus nerve, and incomplete vocal cord paralysis occurred in 2 patients with tumors from vagus vagus nerve. The total incidence of motor nerve injury was 11.1% (2/18). All patients were followed up for 6 to 45 months, with no tumor recurrence.Conclusion:Intraoperative neuromonitoring has significant values in surgery of cervical neurogenic tumors, which is helpful to remove completely the tumors on the basis of protecting the nerve functions to the maximum extent.

Overuse of antibiotics in livestock farming has enriched antibiotic-resistant genes as well as resistant bacteria in farm animals and their related environments. These antibiotic-resistant genes can spread to the natural environments by horizontal gene transfer and even to the food chain, posing a serious threat to the ecological environment, food safety and human health. With the development of genomic technology, the diversity and ecological distribution of antibiotic-resistant genes in farm animals and their related environments have been recently revealed. Here we summarized the research progress on antibiotic resistance genes in related fields, potential influence on human health, and future research needs.
