This study was aimed to investigate the influence on component content indexes,which included chlorogenic acid and luteolin of honeysuckle by the absorption of chemical insecticide thiamethoxam.High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) method was used in the analysis of content determination of component content indexes of honeysuckle samples by different concentrations of thiamethoxam.SPSS was used in the statistical analysis.The results showed that compared to samples from the blank control group,the content of chlorogenic acid had the increasing tendency in the honeysuckle groups with different concentrations of thiamethoxam.However,there was no significant difference among different experiment groups.There was no significant difference on luteolin among honeysuckle groups with different concentrations of thiamethoxam and the blank control group.It was concluded that at the recommended dose and high-powered dose of thiamethoxam,there was some influence on the content of chlorogenic acid.However,there was no significant effect on the content of luteoloside.And the quality scores of both contents were within the range defined in the Chinese Pharmacopoeia(2010 edition).

Objective:To explore the predictive value of the recurrence risk estimator at 90-days(RRE-90) score combined with lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 (Lp-PLA2) and high sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) in the recurrence risk of acute atherosclerotic cerebral infarction.Methods:Totally 400 patients with acute atherosclerotic cerebral infarction who were hospitalized for the first time in neurology department were followed up for 90 days.However, 8 cases were lost and 392 cases were included finally.According to recurrence or not, 64 cases were divided into recurrence group and 328 cases into non-recurrence group.The RRE-90 score was applied to all the participants and the levels of Lp-PLA2 was detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, the levels of hs-CRP was detected by immunoturbidimetry.The ROC curve was used to analyze the predictive value of RRE-90 score combined with Lp-PLA2 and hs-CRP for the recurrence risk of acute cerebral infarction.Results:Compared with the non-recurrence group(RRE-90: (3.07±1.01)score, Lp-PLA2: (103.53±8.11)μg/L, hs-CRP: (4.07±1.48)mg/L), the levels of (RRE-90 score: (4.11±0.78)score, Lp-PLA2: (121.52±13.95)μg/L, hs-CRP: (12.40±2.46) mg/L)in the recurrence group of cerebral infarction were significantly higher ( P<0.05, P<0.01). Compared with RRE-90 score (0.705), Lp-PLA2 (0.697), hs-CRP (0.622), RRE-90 score combined with Lp-PLA2 (0.752), RRE-90 score combined with hs-CRP (0.746), RRE-90 score combined with Lp-PLA2 and hs-CRP (0.782) had the largest area under the curve for predicting recurrence of cerebral infarction within 90 days, with statistical significance( P<0.05), sensitivity was 87.8%, specificity was 89.6%. Conclusion:RRE-90 score combined with Lp-PLA2 and hs-CRP detection can further improve the accuracy of predicting recurrence within 90 days in patients with cerebral atherosclerotic infarction, and the predictive value is high.

Cerebral hyperperfusion syndrome (CHS) is a rare but serious complication after cerebral revascularization, which may lead to catastrophic consequences. The mechanism of CHS is not fully understood, and it may be related to cerebral autoregulation dysfunction and the increase of blood pressure after operation. Timely detection and treatment of cerebral hyperperfusion can avoid CHS. This article reviews the pathogenesis, diagnosis, clinical manifestations, prevention and treatment of CHS.

Objective To investigate the role of STAT3 transcription factor in IL-6 inducing epithelial mesenchymal transition (EMT) of human peritoneal mesothelial cells (HPMCs).Methods HPMCs were cultured in vitro and grouped.(1) According to the stimulation time with 50 μg/L IL-6,HPMCs were divided into 24,48,72 h groups.(2) HPMCs were grouped 50,100 μg/L according to IL-6 concentration.(3) HPMCs were respectively divided into control group,IL-6 group,empty vector group,empty vector+IL-6 group,virus infecting group and virus infecting+IL-6 group,as lenti-virus vector mediating RNA interference targeting STAT3 was applied.The mRNA expressions of E-cadherin,α-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) were detected by real time PCR;their protein expressions and the phosphorylation of JAK2 and STAT3 were detected by Western blotting;the expressions and distribution of E-cadherin and α-SMA were observed by immunofluorescence.Results Compared with those in control group,the expression of E-cadherin decreased remarkably (P ＜ 0.05),while the expressions of VEGF and α-SMA and the ratio of phosphorylated (p)-JAK2/JAK2 and p-STAT3/STAT3 increased significantly in IL-6 concentration groups and stimulation time groups (all P ＜ 0.05),which had been dose and time dependent.Compared with empty vector+IL-6 group,virus infecting+IL-6 group had decreased expressions of VEGF and α-SMA,while increased expressions of E-cadherin (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions IL-6 can promote VEGF and α-SMA gene expression and prevent E-cadherin gene expression by STAT3,which involves in EMT of peritoneum fibrosis.While STAT3 gene is knocked-down,EMT is inhibited in HPMCs.

AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) is a widely distributed and evolutionarily conserved serine/threonine protein kinase present in eukaryotic cells. In regulating cellular energy metabolism, AMPK plays an extremely important role as an energy metabolic kinase. When the body is in a low energy state, AMPK is activated in response to changes in intracellular adenine nucleotide levels and is bound to adenosine monophosphate (AMP) or adenosine diphosphate (ADP). Activated AMPK regulates various metabolic processes, including lipid and glucose metabolism and cellular autophagy. AMPK directly promotes autophagy by phosphorylating autophagy-related proteins in the mammalian target of rapamycin complex 1 (mTORC1), serine/threonine protein kinase-dysregulated 51-like kinase 1 (ULK1) and type Ⅲ phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase-vacuolar protein-sorting 34 (PIK3C3-VPS34) complexes. AMPK also indirectly promotes autophagy by regulating the expression of downstream autophagy-related genes of transcription factors such as forkhead box O3 (FOXO3), lysosomal function transcription factor EB (TFEB) and bromodomain protein 4 (BRD4). AMPK also regulates mitochondrial autophagy, induces the division of damaged mitochondria and promotes the transfer of the autophagic response to damaged mitochondria. Another function of AMPK is to regulate mitochondrial health by stimulating mitochondrial biogenesis and participating in various aspects of mitochondrial homeostasis regulation. This review discusses the specific regulation of mitochondrial biology and internal environmental homeostasis by AMPK signaling channels as central to the cellular response to energy stress and regulation of mitochondria, highlighting the key role of AMPK in regulating cellular autophagy and mitochondrial autophagy, as well as advances in research on the regulation of mitochondrial homeostasis.

Objective To investigate the association of red cell distribution width (RDW) with all-cause and cardiovascular disease (CVD)-related mortality in patients undergoing continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD).Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on 207 patients who initiated CAPD for more than 3 months between July 2005 and March 2016 in the First Hospital Affiliated to Zhengzhou University.Baseline data on demographic,clinical and biochemical variables as well as comorbidities were obtained;medications and clinic outcomes were recorded.According to receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC) analysis,patients were divided into high RDW (RDW ＞ 15.1％) and low RDW (RDW≤ 15.1％) groups.The data of two groups were compared and Spearman's correlation analysis was used to explore the association of RDW with clinical and biochemical parameters.Survival curves were calculated using Kaplan-Meier method.Cox regression model was employed to analyze risk factors of all-cause and CVD-related mortality.Results In this study,207 CAPD patients were enrolled.The overall median survival time was 80 months.And the median survival time of high RDW group (68 patients) and low RDW group (139 patients) were 59 months and 96 months,respectively.There were statistical differences in diastole pressure,hemoglobin,hematocrit,serum albumin,intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH),eGFR,cholesterol,lipoprotein a,4-hour dialysate-to-plasma ratio for creatinine (4hD/Pcr),total Ccr (P ＜ 0.05,respectively);the two groups also varied in the proportion of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,cardiovascular disease and hyperlipidemia,as well as in the use of iron supplements,angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors or angiotensin Ⅱ receptor blockers (ARB),and beta-receptor blockers (P＜0.05,respectively).Cardiovascular event was a leading cause of mortality.Kaplan-Meier survival curves showed that the high RDW group had higher all-cause and CVD-related mortality compared with the low RDW group (P ＜ 0.01).The 1-year,3-year,and 5-year patient survivals of the high RDW and low RDW group were 87.97％ vs 97.01％,58.02％ vs 81.53％,and 41.62％ vs 67.96％,respectively,demonstrating significant differences (P=0.001).Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that high RDW was independent risk factor for all-cause mortality (HR=1.212,95％CI:1.007-1.458,P=0.042) and CVD-related mortality (HR=1.697,95％ CI:1.030-2.795,P=0.038).Conclusion RDW is associated with mortality risks in CAPD patients and can be stratified as a valuable indicator for the risk of death.

Objective To investigate whether the JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway is involved in the epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) of peritoneal mesothelial cells in uremic peritoneal dialysis (PD) rats.Methods A total of 48 male Sprague-Dawley (SD) rats were randomly separated into six groups:normal control group (NC group,n=8),sham group (n=8),uremic group (n=8),PD group (n=8),S3I-201 control group (n=8) and S3I-201 group (n=8).Uremic model generated by 5/6 nephrectomy surgery in rats was established.The rats of PD group,S3I-201 control group and S3I-201 group received daily infusion of 4.25％ glucose-based peritoneal dialysate fluid (3 ml/100 g) from PD catheters for 28 days.Rats of S3I-201 group were injected with STAT3 inhibitor S3I-201 (2.5 mg/kg) solution from the catheters every other day;the same dose of the solvent of S3I-201 was simultaneously given to S3I-201 control group rats.After PD for 28 days,peritoneal function,pathologic changes,and microvessel density (MVD) were evaluated.Creatinine,urea nitrogen and interleukin-6 (IL-6) concentration in blood and dialysate,and protein and mRNA levels of phospho-JAK2 (p-JAK2),phospho-STAT3 (p-STAT3),E-cadherin,alpha-smooth muscle actin (α-SMA) and vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in peritoneum were determined.Results Uremia and peritoneal dialysate could aggravate the peritoneal function and elevate peritoneal thickness and MVD.They could also increased the concentration of IL-6 in blood and dialysate and the expression levels of α-SMA,VEGF,p-JAK2 and p-STAT3 in peritoneum,while lowering E-cadherin expression in peritoneum.These manifestations were even more remarkable in PD group compared to those in uremic group.There was no statistical difference between the S3I-201 control group and the PD group as regards all the index (all P ＞ 0.05).Compared with the S3I-201 control group,the rats treated with S3I-201 showed better peritoneal function.S3I-201 could reduce peritoneal thickness (P＜0.05),MVD (P＜0.05),the concentration of IL-6 in blood and dialysate,the mRNA and protein expression of α-SMA,VEGF,p-JAK2 and p-STAT3 (all P ＜ 0.05),while enhance the mRNA and protein expression of E-cadherin (all P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions After STAT3 is inhibited,the peritoneal thickness,MVD and IL-6 concentration in PD rats are decreased,and EMT is also inhibited,while peritoneal function is improved.The JAK2/STAT3 signaling pathway may thus be involved in the process of EMT of peritoneum in uremic peritoneal dialysis rats by regulating the expression of IL-6.

Objective To analyze the current state,research hotspots,and development trends of electroencephalography(EEG)applied in the field of autism spectrum disorder(ASD). Methods Relevant literature from the Web of Science core collection database from January,2014 to January,2024 were retrieved and analyzed using CiteSpace 6.2.R4. Results A total of 1 509 articles were included,with an increasing trend in publication volume over the years.The United States ranked highest in both publication volume and node centrality.The primary journals in this field were concentrated in clinical medicine,immunology and psychology.Keyword co-occurrence and clustering indicated that research primarily focused on the correlation between core symptoms of ASD and EEG indicators,differential diagnosis of ASD and its comorbidities,brain functional connectivity,and assessment of rehabilitation efficacy.Keywords bursted in the past three years mainly included artificial intelligence and machine learning. Conclusion The researches in EEG technology in the field of ASD is generally increasing.Future researches may focus on exploring the brain network mechanisms of ASD using EEG combined with multimodal neuroimaging,and machine learning technologies.

Objective:To explore the relationship between the changes in the lipid profiles and the intensity of inflammatory response and disease severity in patients with sepsis, in order to find a biomarker that can quickly evaluate the condition and prognosis of sepsis.Methods:A retrospective analysis was performed on 449 patients with sepsis admitted to department of critical care medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from October 2019 to May 2021, and 355 patients without sepsis hospitalized in the same period served as the control. The general demographic data, blood lipid and other clinical indicators within 24 hours after admission were collected and compared between the two groups. Bivariate correlation study was used to analyze the relationship between blood lipid levels and inflammation indicators and severity of illness in patients with sepsis. The receiver operator characteristic curve (ROC curve) was drawn to evaluate the predictive value of each blood lipid component on the 28-day mortality of patients with sepsis. According to the results of ROC curve analysis, the blood lipids were divided into two groups with different levels, and the Kaplan-Meier survival curve was used to compare the cumulative survival rates of the two groups without end-point event (the 28-day mortality was the end-point event).Results:Compared with non-septic patients, the levels of plasma total cholesterol (TC), high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were significantly lower in patients with sepsis [TC (mmol/L): 2.93±1.33 vs. 4.01±1.14, HDL-C (mmol/L): 0.78±0.47 vs. 1.16±0.40, LDL-C (mmol/L): 1.53±1.00 vs. 2.71±0.98, all P < 0.05]. In patients with sepsis, plasma cholesterol levels were correlated with the degree of inflammation and severity of the disease to varying degrees, but the HDL-C had the strongest correlation with interleukin-6 (IL-6; r = -0.551, P = 0.000), procalcitonin (PCT, r = -0.598, P = 0.000), sequential organ failure assessment (SOFA; r = -0.285, P = 0.000). The ROC curve analysis showed that among all blood lipid components, HDL-C had the highest predictive value for 28-day mortality of sepsis patients, and the area under the ROC curve (AUC) was 0.718, when the best cut-off value was 0.69 mmol/L, the sensitivity and specificity were 67.3% and 65.2% respectively, and the positive predictive value and negative predictive value were 60.6% and 71.5% respectively. According to Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis, the mortality of sepsis patients with HDL-C ≤ 0.69 mmol/L was significantly higher than the patients with HDL-C > 0.69 mmol/L, and the difference was statistically significant ( P < 0.000 1). In addition, the 28-day mortality [59.73% (135/226) vs. 28.70% (64/223)], the incidence of multiple organ dysfunction [41.15% (93/226) vs. 31.84% (71/223)], the probability of requiring mechanical ventilation and vasoactive drugs [mechanical ventilation: 56.64% (128/226) vs. 46.18% (103/223); vasoactive drugs: 54.42% (123/226) vs. 38.57% (86/223)], the positive rate of microbial culture [45.58% (103/226) vs. 35.43% (79/223)], and the probability of drug-resistant bacteria [19.91% (45/226) vs. 10.31% (23/223)] in the low HDL-C group of sepsis patients were all higher than the high HDL-C group, the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Conclusions:Plasma cholesterol levels, especially the HDL-C levels, can well reflect the intensity of inflammation and the severity of the disease in patients with sepsis. And the HDL-C levels can be used as a good biomarker for predicting the short-term prognosis of sepsis.
