Objective To explore the clinical value of real time contrast-enhanced ultrasound in diagnosis of liver localized fatty deletion and fatty infiltration which couldn't be confirmed by conventional ultrasonography. Methods Contrast-enhanced ultrasound was performed on 94 patients with liver localized diseases confirmed by baseline sonography, among them 34 patients with liver localized fatty deletion and fatty infiltration were enrolled. Results Contrast-enhanced ultrasonography didn't show apparent occupancy nidus in 34 patients. Enhancement mode of lesions was the same as liver parenchyma, which was distinctly different from liver occupancy diseases. Conclusion Real time contrast-enhanced ultrasound can display typical signs of liver localized fatty deletion and fatty infiltration and has significant value in diagnosis and differentiating diagnosis of them.

Objective To research the indoor air pollution in offices induced by decoration and its health effects. Methods According to the completed time, the offices were divided into 6 groups (2 month group, 2-4 month group, 5-8 month group, 9-11 month group, 12-18 month group, over 5 year group). The concentration of indoor air pollutants was determined and 617 people from the decorated offices were randomly selected to finish the questionnaires on health. Results The over standard rate of formaldehyde, benzene and ammonia in indoor air was the highest in 2 month group, 100%, 87.3%, 83.9% respectively. The concentration of indoor air pollutants decreased as the time went on, about one year after decoration, the concentrations were lower than the standard limits (GB/T 18883-2002). The adverse response rate of the staff members in offices decorated group (76.4%) was significantly higher than that in the control group (30.9%) (P

Objective To explore the effects of formaldehyde (FA) on the contents of CD3, CD4, CD8 and the activity of SOD and the contents of MDA in the spleen and thymus of mice. Methods 30 Kunming mice were randomly divided into 5 groups, 6 in each and treated with FA: the negative control group, 1 mg/m3, 3 mg/m3, 5 mg/m3 and the positive control group (treated with cyclophosphamide, CP). The mice were exposed to FA by static state inhalation in a chamber for 14 days, then the contents of CD3, CD4, CD8, MDA and the activity of SOD in the liver, spleen and thymus were determined. Results The contents of CD3, CD4, CD8 in the spleen and thymus showed a significant decreasing as the exposure dose increasing, an obvious dose-response relation was seen and there were significant differences between FA exposed groups and the control group (P

Objective To study the pathological characteristics of leukocyte myeloperoxidase (MPO) deficiency and clinical laboratory diagnostic strategy for this disease. Methods The Bayer ADVIA 120 blood cell analyzer differentiate leukocyte and detect myeloperoxidase index (MPXI) . The leukocyte morphology and differentiating count on blood smear by Wright’s stain were finished. The peroxidase positive cell percentage and score were counted by peroxidase stain. The expressive levels of leukocyte MPO antigen were measured by flow cytometric monoclonal antibodies method. Results The prevalence of mild neutrophil MPO deficiencies was 2.61%, and partial neutrophil MPO deficiencies was 0.39% in 5 761 in-patients. The significant changes in the dot plot from ADVIA 120 blood cell analyzer were seen in 3 patients with MPO deficiencies, and MPXI,MPO activities and MPO antigen levels of the patient’s neutrophils and monocytes decteased remarkably, but there were normal levels in eosinophils. Conclusion Neutrophil MPO deficiencies were not a rare disorder, but the mild deficiency cases were seen usually. The low activity of MPO is an important evidence for MPO deficiencies diagnosis. The Bayer ADVIA 120 blood cell analyzer can be used simply and fleetly for screening MPO deficiencies in routine hematology laboratory. The peroxidase stain of blood smear is an improtant diagnostic method for MPO deficiencies.

Objective To explore the effect of emergency rescue in whole-course integrated of abdominal injury with multitrauma. Methods Two hundred and eleven cases of abdominal injury with multitrauma from January 2004 to December 2006,before the emergency rescue in whole-course integrated, treating severe trauma 102 cases (group A),from January 2007 to December 2009,after the emergency rescue in whole-course integrated, treating severe trauma 109 cases (group B) .retrospectively analyzing and comparing the clinical effect between the two groups. Results In group A,injury severity score (ISS) was (24.7 ± 6.2) scores, 14 cases died, the mortality was 13.7% ,the time in emergency room and the time to operation room averaged (1.8 ± 0.2), (2.3 ± 0.3) h. While in group B, ISS was (26.6 ± 7.4) scores,6 cases died, the mortality was 5.5%, the time in emergency room and the time to operation room averaged (1.1 ± 0.1), (1.5 ± 0.2 ) h. ISS indicated no significant difference between the two groups ( P > 0.05 ), the mortality, the time in emergency room and the time to operation room indicated significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05 ).Conclusion Emergency rescue in whole-course integrated of abdominal injury with multitrauma is an effective way to improve the curative rate.

ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of jin’s three-needle scalp electroacupuncture on Cyt-c and Caspase-3 expressions in the cerebral cortex in Intrauterine distress-induced HIBD rats and reveal the mechanism of its protective action on the brain. MethodThe abdomen was incised in a female SD rat at 21 days of pregnancy. Bilateral uterine horn blood vessels were tightly clamped with a hemostat for five minutes. An infant rat was then taken out by a cesarean section. A rat model of hypoxic-ischemic brain damage was confirmed by the use of a behavior test and braintissue sections. The rats were randomized into model and acupuncture groups. The model group was not needled. Acupuncture groups 1, 2, 3 and 4 began to be needled at 3, 5, 7 and 14 days after birth, respectively. Acupuncture treatment was given for seven consecutive days. The normal control group was naturally delivered, not used to make a model and not needled. All groups of rats were decapitated to take the brain tissue at 21 daysafter birth. Cyt-c and Caspase-3 expressions in the cerebral cortex were detected.ResultCyt-c optical density value decreased somewhat in the four acupuncture groups; there was a statistically significant difference between acupuncture group 1 or 2 and the modelgroup (P<0.05). Caspase-3 expression was significantly down-regulated in acupuncture group 1; there was a statistically significant difference compared with the model group (P<0.05).ConclusionThe protective effect of acupuncture beginning at 3 days after birthon the brain is related to the down-regulation of Cyt-c and Caspase-3 expressions in intrauterine distress-induced HIBD rats.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the effect of labor analgesia and the outcome of maternals and neonatals by applying the vitamin B6- folic acid mixture to combined with spinal-epidural analgesia(CSEA) in nulliparous women at latency.MethodsAll the 112 full-term nulliparous parturients were selected and divided into the treated group and controlled group.Nulliparous women in two groups received CSEA,with which the additional vitamin - folic acid mixture was used only in treatment group. The contrast between the analgesic effect in groups, and alalgesic effect-acting period, fentanyl Apgar score and newborn usage were compared between groups also.ResultsThe analgesic effect-acting period and fentanyl dosage in the treated group were significantly decreased. There was significant difference between the 2 ( P < 0.05 ).ConclusionsIt could be effective applying vitamin B6- folic acid mixture at latency in nulliparous women based on CSEA,which could shorten the lumbar hemp effect-acting period and reduce fentanyl narcotic drugs dosage.
