1."Treatment of Syndrome Differentiation for Consumptive Diseases Based on the Theory of""Rise and Fall of Middle Qi"" by HUANG Yuan-yu"

The famous TCM doctor, HUANG Yuan-yu, proposed the theory of rise and fall of middle qi, which was a main academic ideology for the understanding of human physiology and pathology. He believed that rise and fall of middle qi played an important role in qi-blood and yin-yang and normal operation of five zang viscera. He also emphasized that there was an important relationship between the consumptive diseases and function damage of other viscera caused by imbalance of middle qi. Based on the theory of rise and fall of middle qi, this article discussed its guiding function to the treatment of syndrome differentiation for consumptive diseases, with a purpose to provide new ideas for clinical treatment.

3.Effect of being waked up on bispectral index and auditory evoked potential index during emergence from propofol administered by TCI

Objective To investigate the effect of being waked up on bispectral index (BIS) and auditory evoked potential index (AEPI) during emergence from propofol administered by TCI.Methods Twenty ASAⅠorⅡpatients aged 31-63 yrs weighing 52-70 kg undergoing elective cholecystectomy using fiberoptic laparoscope under propofol anesthesia administered by TCI were enrolled in the study. During induction of anesthesia the initial target effect-site concentration of propofol was set at 1.0?g?ml-1 and was increased by 1.0?g?ml-1 until 6.0?g?ml-1 step by step. The BIS and AEPI values and hemodynamic variables were recorded at each target effect-site concentration during induction of anesthesia. At the end of operation the infusion of propofol was stopped and the name of the patient was called loudly every minute asking the patient to open his/her eyes. The BIS and AEPI values were recorded 1 minute before and after the eyes opened on command. Results Both BIS and AEPI correlated closely with target effect-site concentration of propofol during induction of anesthesia. During emergence from propofol at the end of operation the BIS value was 69?7 and 72?10 at 1 min before and after the patients opened eyes on command; while the mean AEPI value was 29.8?6.0 and 73.9?5.9 respectively. The increase in AEPI value was significantly larger than the increase in BIS value. Conclusion Both BIS and AEPI correlate closely with target effect-site concentration of propofol during induction of anesthesia. During emergence from propofol the AEPI is more sensitive to being waked up on command.
4.Advances in research on mechanisms of resistance to anti-epidermal growth factor receptor inhibitors in RAS wild-type metastatic colorectal cancer

The development of anti-epidermal growth factor receptor monoclonal antibodies (anti-EGFR McAbs) marked a significant milestone in metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) treatment. The addition of anti-EGFR McAb can greatly improve quality of life of mCRC patients and mCRC prognosis and markedly increases the overall survival rate from 6 months to nearly 30 months. KRAS and NRAS mutations contribute to the primary resistance to anti-EGFR therapy and can serve as well-established predictive markers for pa-tient selection. Apart from the RAS family, other molecular alteration in EGFR signaling pathway may also compromise the efficacy of anti-EGFR treatment. In addition, patients who responded to anti-EGFR treatment eventually develop acquired drug resistance within 13 and 18 months. In this review, the mechanisms underlying the primary and secondary resistance to anti-EGFR therapy are summa-rized, and a possible strategy to circumvent drug resistance is proposed. We hope this review can provide compelling evidence, deeper insights, and reasonable guidance to facilitate the precise molecular targeted therapy of mCRC.
5.Simultaneous Determination of Vinyl Chloride and Vinylidene Chloride in Drug Packaging Materials Con-taining Polyvinyl Chloride/Polyvinylidene Chloride by HS-GC

Objective:To develop a method for the simultaneous determination of vinyl chloride and vinylidenechloride in drug packaging materials containing polyvinyl chloride /polyvinylidene chloride by HS-GC.Methods: A Stabilwax (30.0 m ×0.25 mm, 0.25 μm) capillary column and an FID detector were adopted .The headspace equivalent temperature was 80℃for 30 min and the col-umn temperature was 40℃.The inlet temperature was 190℃and the detector temperature was 210℃.N2 was used as the carrier gas . The flow rate was 1.0 ml · min-1 .Results: Vinyl chloride had a good linear relationship within the range of 0.5-2.5 μg ( r =0.996 7), and the average recovery was 90.4%(RSD=0.9%, n=9).Vinylidenechloride had a good linear relationship within the range of 1.0-5.0 μg (r=0.999 0), and the average recovery was 90.0%(RSD=0.6%, n=9).Conclusion: The method is fast and accurate in the simultaneous determination of vinyl chloride and vinylidenechloride in drug packaging materials containing polyvinyl chloride/polyvinylidene chloride .
6.Research progress on molecular targeted therapy for metastatic esophageal cancer pa-tients

Esophageal cancer is a highly aggressive malignant tumor of the digestive tract. Despite the continuous development of sur-gical techniques and multidisciplinary treatments, the prognosis and overall survival of esophageal cancer patients is still poor. In re-cent years, the development of new molecular targeted therapy has become well advanced. Drugs that target tumor-related signal pathways and block the transmission of downstream signals can inhibit the growth and metastasis of tumor cells. Currently, esopha-geal cancer-targeted drugs are rarely approved officially. HER-2 inhibitor represents these types of drugs because of its positive expres-sion of metastatic adenocarcinoma. However, studies on the preparation of new drugs are not extensive. In this paper, the research progress of a new targeted therapy for metastatic esophageal cancer is reviewed.
7.Measure and analyze the generic and developing factors of hallux valgus by X- ray

Objective Based on the radiographs to analyze the generic and the developing factors of hallux valgus.Methods Two hundred and forty-one cases were divided into two groups according to the symptoms suffered,which were normal group and hallux valgus group.All cases were female,aged 10 to 90 years old.The three parameters-the first intermetatarsal angle,sesamoid inclination angle and hallux valgus angle,were taken full weightbearing radiographs,analyzed by non-paired t test and Pearson correlation analysis according to age.Results In normal group,the first intermetatarsal angle was correlated with age ( correlation coefficient r =0.125,P =0.003 ).Sesamoid inclination angles in both groups were correlated with age( normal group r =0.384,P <0.001 ;hallux valgus group r =0.359,P =0.0002 ).However,hallux valgus angle had no correlation with age ( normal group r =0.066,hallux valgus group r=0.080).All 3 parameters in hallux valgus group were statistically larger than normal group.Conclusion Aging is a possible reason to cause the 1 st metatarsophlangeal joint deformity,but larger parameters were found in valgus group,suggesting the major cause of hallux valgus is congenital factor rather than aging.

10.Clinical study of area of Jiangsu province of polycystic ovarian syndrome correlation distribution of traditional Chinese medicine syndrome type and improper diet.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is one of the most popular diseases in obstetrics and gynecology research at internal and abroad at present, traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)in the clinical treatment of the disease have the advantage. Clinical epidemiological study of descriptive research method this research adopts investigation, observation of TCM syndromes and improper diet through 401 cases in Jiangsu Province confirmed PCOS patients, to explore the relationship between TCM syndrome type distribution and improper diet factors, and to provide the clinical basis for further etiology of this disease research. TCM syndrome type distribution of the disease is kidney deficiency, phlegm stagnation syndrome, qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, syndrome of dampness heat of liver channel and is composed of 4 basic syndromes and formed complex syndrome, and the composite and syndrome type (60.85%); combined with the analysis of traditional Chinese medicine dialectical, Pure empirical syndrome this disease (46.88%), followed by the actual card (45.39%), pure deficiency is rare. Improper diet factors associated with the disease, in which improper diet with different TCM syndrome type distribution significantly related. Stagnation of phlegm dampness syndrome is the main syndrome of the disease type, improper diet factors and every syndrome PCOS type distribution is as follows: the partial eclipse fatness greasy with basic syndromes of phlegm dampness stagnation of kidney deficiency syndrome, the nephrasthenia syndrome is less; eating spicy stimulation by basic syndromes of stagnation of Qi and blood stasis; eating cold people the basic certificate type of qi stagnation and blood stasis; The diet of patients are more prone to stagnation of phlegm dampness syndrome.
