Objective To investigate the relationship between renal function and lipid metabolism in patients with chronic renal disease .Methods A total of 76 patients with chronic renal disease were enrolled and classified into chronic renal failure(CRF)group (29 cases) ,chronic nephritis(CN)group(21 cases) ,diabetic nephropathy (DN) group(14 cases) and nephrotic syndrome (NS) group (12 cases) ,and 65 healthy subjects were enrolled in control group ,the relationships between renal function ,lipid metabolism , hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP) and 24 hours urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER) were analyzed .Results Urea ni-trogen(Urea) ,serum Cystatin C(CysC) ,cretinine(Cr) ,uric acid(UA) ,β2-microglobulin(β2-MG) ,hs-CRP ,low density lipoprotein (LDL-c) .Lp(a) .24h UAER were significantly higher in CN group;Urea ,Cr ,β2-MG ,CysC ,hs-CRP ,ApoA ,lipoprotein A[Lp(a)] , 24 h UAER were significant higher in DN group;Urea ,hs-CRP ,TC ,TG ,HDL-c ,LDL-c ,ApoB ,Lp(a) ,24h UAER were significant-ly highly in NS group;Urea ,Cr ,UA ,β2-MG ,CysC ,hs-CRP ,TG ,LDL-c ,Apolipoprotein b(ApoB) ,Lp(a) ,24 h UAER were signifi-cantly higher in CRF group .Conclusion With the changes of renal function in patients with chronic renal diease ,the lipid metabo-lism and hs-CRP also change .

Objective To study the effect of binocular vision function training for fusion in the eye position and three levels of eye function in adult patients after concomitant strabismus surgery. Methods 56 cases with postoperative concomitant strabismus were randomly divided into training group and control group . In the training group, patients were trained with software to enhance the fusion. After training for 7, 30, 180 and 365 days, the eye position, the fusion and the stereoesthesia were observed and analyzed. Results After training for 365 days, the deteriorative ratio in the training group is 3%, which is significantly lower than control group (23%)(P<0.05). The correction ratio in eye position is 20%, which is significantly higher than control group (4%)(P<0.05). The recovery ratio in binocular vision function is 53%, which is significantly higher than control group (15%)(P<0.05). The recovery ratio in stereaeuity is 46%, which is significantly higher than control group (11%)(P<0.05). Conclusions Fusion training can enhance the recovery of fusion and stereaeuity, decrease the deteriorative ratio, and correct the eye position after surgery in concomitant strabismus patients.

Objective:To investigate the difference of biological characteristics and responses to PDGF-BB between human ovarian carcinoma-derived microvascular endothelial cells and human umbilical vein endothelial cells.Methods:The ovarian carcinoma-derived microvascular endothelial cells were isolated and purifed from ovarian carcinoma tissues.Compared to the human umbilical vein endothelial cells,the biological characteristics and responses to PDGF-BB were observed in OdMEC for the changes of growth,PCNA and VEGF expression.Results:20ng/ml PDGF-BB could enhance both kinds of endothelial cells to proliferate,express PCNA and VEGF.The proliferation and PCNA protein expression in HUVEC were augmented more significantly than those in OdMEC,the protein and mRNA of VEGF expression were augmented more significantly than those in HUVEC.Conclusion:The responses of OdMEC to PDGF-BB were significantly different from those of HUVEC,which provides experiment basis for research on ovarian carcinoma vascularization and antiangiogenesis therapy.

BACKGROUND: Ceramic crown porcelain fracture is wide in clinic. The method of repairing single crown porcelain fracture is simple and effective, but it is difficult for ceramic fixed bridge, especially individual teeth porcelain fracture on the long bridge. There is no report concerning prosthesis of partial crown with aperture of neighboring surface. OBJECTIVE: To lessen suffering and economic burden of the patient with cracking of porcelain on the fixed bridge, to decrease the chanciness and manufacture procedure of removing the porcelain fixed bridge, to discuss the feasibility of prosthesis of partial crown with aperture of neighouring surface.METHODS: By preparing tooth at damaged pontic or retainer of the porcelain fixed bridge in oral, shaping "core" retention form which analogy "keyway" form at both of retainers, and then make the porcelain partial crown with aperture of neighboring surface. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: We followed up 27 patients that porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM) with cracking of porcelain using partial crown with aperture of neighboring surface to repairing for 2-3 years. The prosthesis was strong; the edge of prosthesis was close together, without exposing metal or cracking of porcelain, gingival had no redness at the edge of crown and pontic. Patients feel good, chewing was normal. These suggested that the prosthesis of partial crown with aperture of neighboring surface is an effective method for restoring the fixed bridge with cracking of porcelain, with less risk, low cost and simple operation.

Objective To investigate the effects of Astragalus membranaceus and Angelica sinensis on the hemodynamics and pathological features of arterial wall in restenosis of blood vessel in rats in order to find the potential mechanism of the effect of Astragalus membranaceus and Angelica sinensis in preventing restenosis after ablation of intima. Method Thirty SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups (6 each):control group (C),model group (M),Astragalus membranaceus treatment group (H),Angelica sinensis treatment group (D),and combined Astragalus membranaceus with Angelica sinensis treatment group (HD). The restenosis model was reproduced by denuding rat's aorta endothelium with balloon catheter in all the groups except group C. After intramuscular injection of Astragalus membranaceus 0.42ml/(kg?d) in group H,Angelica sinensis 0.21ml/(kg?d) in group D,and Astragalus membranaceus 0.42ml/(kg?d) together with Angelica sinensis 0.21ml/(kg?d) in group HD for 21 days,the changes in hemodynamics and the pathological features of arterial wall were observed in all the groups. Result Compared with rats of group C,in which the intima was smooth and the smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) in media were orderly arranged,the intimal thickness of aorta,pulsatile index (PI) and resistance index (RI) increased,while the diameter of lumen,blood velocity decreased remarkably in group M. Compared with the rats in group M,the extent of hyperplasia and thickness was notably reduced,RI and PI were lower while blood velocity was lowered in group H,D and HD after being treated for 21 days. Conclusion Hyperplasia induced by remaval of endothelial cells may be reduced and blood circulation may be improved to different extents by individually or simultaneously use of Astragalus membranaceus and Angelica sinensis,thus preventing restenosis of the aorta after removal of its intima.

Objective To establish a high performance liquid chromatography method for simultaneous determination of 10 kinds of phthalates in cosmetics. Methods 10 kinds of phthalates were separated on a C18 column using methanol-water as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min, 25℃ column temperature and 280 nm detection wave. Results The detection limit of 10 kinds of phthalates were 0.1-7 mg/L. The precision was less than 3.95% and recovery rates varied from 98.59% to 108.07%. Conclusion The experimental results show that the method is simple, precise and accurate and suitable to simultaneous determination of 10 kinds of phthalates in cosmetics.
