Objective To explore the effect of Angiotensin Ⅱreceptor inhibitor on proliferation and apoptosis and cell cycle of human en-dometrial cancer cell line induced by estrogen.Methods Human endometrial cancer cells,ishikawa were cultured,and then treated with different concentrations of estrogen or saralasin.Cell proliferation was examined using MTT,and cell cycle and apoptosis were determined us-ing flow cytometry.Results Saralsin inhibited the proliferation of ishikawa cells.After treated with saralasin at 10 min after estrogen induc-tion,cycle was arrested at G1/G0 phase and S phase was reduced in ishikawa cell with significant difference between treatment group and control group.An increase in early apoptosis and late apoptosis occurred at 10min after treatment.Conclusion Saralsin inhibits endometrial cancer cell ishikawa proliferation,induces apoptosis and accumulation in G1/G0 phase in vitro.Therefore,saralsin may be helpful for the treat-ment of endometrial cancer.

The clinical supervision of counseling and psychotherapy have a closely connection with clinical employment.Leading the way in clinical supervision,many clinical supervision models has been extrapolated by theories of various psychotherapy,relating to psychoanalysis theory,person-centered approach theory,cognitive and behavior psychotherapy theory,system theory,structuralism theory,and so on.Recently,especial,different clinical supervision models have to expand beyond psychotherapy,such as developmental model of supervision and society role model of supervision.The study has summarized clinical supervision models of the field,in order to offer literature index and concept frame.

Objective To evaluate 5 drug sensitivity tests in detecting carbapenem resistance of KPC-possessing Enterobacteriaceae.Methods Thirty-six Enterobacteriaceae isolates were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital,Cofiege of Medicine,Zhejiang Univeristy,including 32 of Klebsiella pneumoniae,1 of Escherichia coli,1 of Citrobacter freundii,1 of Klebsiella oxytoca,and 1 of Serratia marcescens,and the cacbapenemase producing was confirmed with PCR.Resistance to imipenem,meropenem and ertapenem was determined by agar dilution and disk diffusion tests,that to imipenem and meropehem was determined by ATB with G-5 panel,that to imipenem by BD Phoenix 100 with NMIC-109 panel,and that to imipenem and ertapenem by VITEK 2 Compact with AST-GN13 card.Results The resistance to imipenem determined by ATB,BD Phoenix100,VITEK 2 Compact,agar dilution and disk diffusion tests were 13.9%(5/36),11.1%(4/36),13.9%(5/36),22.2%(8/36)and 69.4%(25/36).ATB,agar dilution and disk diffusion tests reported 22.2%(8/36).55.6%(20/36)and 47.2%(17/36)as resistant to meropenem.VITEK 2 Compact,agar dilution and disk diflusion tests reported 69.4%(25/36),77.8%(28/36)and 88.9%(32/36)as resistant to ertapenem.The MICs of ertapenem determined by VITEK 2 Compact and agar dilution were≥2 μg/mL.Conclusion The sensitivity of agar dilution and agar disk diffusion is higher than other automatic methods in the identification of KPC-mediated carbapenem resistance,and ertapenem is a more sensitive indicator than mempenem and imipenem for screening KPC-possessing isolates.

Ras is a kind of protein closely related to neoplasms,the persistent activation of which would induce tumorigenesis and progression.RASAL1 is a Ca~(2+) regulated ras GTPase-activating-like protein, the loss or decreased expression of RASAL1 induces ras activation, then results in tumongenesis and progression.In this review we sum up the mechanism of ras activation, the relationship between neoplasms and RASAL1 and the mechanism of RASAL1 expression decreasing.

BACKGROUND: High blood lipid can cause a series of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease, which has been commonly accepted.OBJECTIVE: To probe into the rule of changes of blood lipid of the elders in aging process.DESIGN: Cross section survey.SETTING: Department of Nutrition, Shanghai Huadong Hospital. PARTICIPANTS: Totally 605 employees who took part in body examination and participated this experiment voluntarily from July 2000 to August 2004, were recruited, including 541 males and 64 females, 91 patients ＜ 70 years , 514 ≥ 70 years, 271 patients having the history of coronary heart disease, 83 of malignant tumors, and 251 of other diseases.METHODS: Blood lipid level of totally 605 who accepted physical examination was detected, at the same times, the disease history and common physical examination status were inquired. Venous blood of the patients was drawn after fasting over 12 hours, separating serum on the morning of the same day. Total cholesterol and triacylglycerol of the blood were detected with enzyme assay by using Automated Biochemistry Analyzer. Total cholesterol: 3.6-6.5 mmol/L; triglyceride: 0.4-1.8 mmol/L were considered as normal level, Total cholesterol: ＞ 5.72 mmol/L;Triglyceride: ＞1.72 mmol/L were considered as abnormal criteria.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: Comparison of the blood lipid index of the subjects of different age, disease type and gender RESULTS: Totally 605 elders were involved and all data of them was enthe blood lipid index of the subjects of different age: Peak of total cholesterol appeared at 70 to 74 years, then decreases gradually, the total cholesterol level of the subjects of 70 to 74 years was significantly higher than that at other age (P ＜ 0.05). While Triglyceride level had the trend of going up with growing older, except that of 75-79 ages group slightly went eases: The level of total cholesterol and triglyceride of the subjects in the malignant tumor group was lower than that of other disease groups, level of triglyceride of the subjects in the coronary heart disease was higher than detection rate of blood lipid of the subjects: Detection rate of total cholesterol was 15.5%, while that of triglyceride was 35.9%. There was no significant difference of the detection rate between male and female subjects (P ＞ 0.05).CONCLUSION: Change of blood lipid metabolism of elder with aging is related to the hormone change of different genders and disease types.

Objective To evaluate the value of serum tumor markers in diagnosis of over 80 years old patients with colorectal cancer.Methods Serum CA199,CA242 and CEA of 68 cases senile patients with colorectal cancer and 35 cases senile patients with benign large intestinal diseases were detected by ELISA.Results Serum levels of CA199,CA242 and CEA in patients with colorectal cancer were (37.95 ± 15.95 ) U/ml,( 50.08 ± 24.20 ) U/ml,( 22.34 ± 17.35 ) μg/L respectively and were significantly higher than that in patients with benign large intestinal diseases CA199 ( 10.73 ± 6.27 ) U/ml,CA242 ( 8.00 ± 3.52 ) U/ml,CEA(2.32 ± 1.01 )μg/L.In addition,the level of these three markers was increased with the progress of colorectal cancer and the sensitivity of diagnosis was related with the stages of colorectal cancer.Parallel combined testing methods increased the diagnostic sensitivity to 83.6％,and serial combined testing increased the diagnostic specificity to 88.7 ％.Conclusions Serum tumor markers showed certain values in the diagnosis of the senile patients with colorectal carcinoma.Furthermore,the combined determination of tumor markers is helpful for early diagnosis of colorectal cancer and increases the sensitivity and specificity in diagnosing of colorectal carcinoma.

Objective To evaluate the clinical application of retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenal gland sparing adrenalectomy in the treatment of primary hyperaldosteronism with adrenal adenoma. Methods From 2001 to 2006, clinical data of 196 primary hyperaldosteronism with adrenal adenoma patients (78 males and 118 females with mean age of 41±12, ranging 16-69 years old) confirmed during operation were retrospectively analyzed. All cases were with preoperatively high plasma aldo-sterone, low plasma renin, hypokalemia and arterial hypertension. Results Retroperitoneal laparo-scopic adrenalectomy were successfully completed in all cases. No major complication occurred. of them, partial adrenaleetomies were performed in 51 cases and enucleationa of adrenal adenoma were performed in 145 cases. The operative time was ranged from 15 to 87 min (MD=33 min) and the esti-mated blood loss was ranged from 5 to 200 ml (MD=20 ml). There was no case accepted transfusion. The length of hospital stay was ranged from 2 to 5 d (mean 2.7±1.3 d). All the 196 cases were fol-lowed up with the range from 6 months to 3 years (mean, 1.8 years). Postoperatively, kalemia was normalized in all cases, blood pressure was normalized in 168 cases (85.7%). The abnormal blood pressure cases were under control with anti-hypertension drugs. The CT scan showed adrenal glands were normal. Serum test showed normal hormonal levels. The serum potassium levels were in normal range in all cases. One cases with abnormal post-operative blood pressure had accepted second surgery to remove the adrenal adenoma and the blood pressure turned to be in normal range afterwards. Con-clusion Retroperitoneal laparoscopic adrenal gland sparing adrenalectomy is a safe and feasible tech-nique and is the first choice in the management of primary hyperaldosteronism with adrenal adenoma.

The role of central catecholamine (CA) and angiotensin Ⅱ (AⅡ) in one-kidney Grollman hypertensive rats was investigated. Arterial blood pressure was measured by indirect tail-plethysmography, and the contents of norepinephrine(NE), epinephrine(E) and AⅡ in hypothalamus and medulla oblongata were determined by means of fluorimetry and immunoradioassay respectively. The results showed that during the maintenance period of one-kidney Grollman hypertension the brain contents of NE E and AⅡ were significantly higher than that of the age-matched sham-wrapped rats. Separate intracerebroventricular injections of 6-OHDA and captopril not only induced significant decline of arterial blood pressure but also induced reduction of NE, E and AⅡ in the brain areas. Besides, the arterial baroreflex sensitivity in one-kidney Grollman hypertensive rats was markedly decreased. It suggests that the increase of NE, E and AⅡ and the decrease of the arterial baroreflex sensitivity may play an important role in one-kidney Geallmon hyportension.

In order to investigate the role of endothelin (ET) in blood pressure re-gulation, the depressor effect of ET_A receptor antagonist -BQ_(123) was observed. After in-travenous administration of BQ_(123) (0.1, 1.0 and 2.0 mg/kg) into spontaneously hyperten-sive rat(SHR) and normotensive WKY rat, their blood pressure decreased in a dose-depen-dent manner, which continued 40-60 min. The blood pressure reducing action of BQ_(123)in SHR was more potent than that in WKY rat. Intravenous injection of BQ_(123) intoWistar rat inhibited pressor reponse induced by exogenous ET-1(2?10~(-9)mol/kg) in adose-dependence manner. ET-1(10~(-7)mol/L) stimulated proliferation of cultured smoothmuscle cells from SHR aorta, i.e., increase in ~3H-thymidine and ~3H-Leucine, however, BQ_(123)effectively antagonized the above action of ET-1. These results suggested that endogenousET to some extent could be involved in the regulation of normotension and also in thedevelopment of hypertension, and that ET antagonists would be useful for clinical preven-tion and therapy of hypertensive diseases.

Objective: To investigate the effects of neferine ( Nef ) on the learning and memory function and the expression of Notch1 and SYN in hippocampus in the rats with chronic cerebral ischemia .Methods:Male SD rats (250-300g) were randomly divid-ed into the sham operation group(Sham), the model group(Mod), nimodipine (Nim) positive control group and Nef treatment group with 5 ones in each .The chronic cerebral ischemia ( CCI ) model was established using bilateral common carotid artery ligation ( 2-VO).The rats were orally administered with NS(5 mg· kg-1),Nim(1 mg· kg -1) and Nef (20 mg· kg-1),respectively for 21 days after the first day of operation .The body weight was recorded .The number of hippocampal neurons in the rats was observed by Nissel staining.The learning and memory function was evaluated by Morris water maze test .Notch1 and SYN protein expressions in hippo-campus were detected by IHC staining and Western blot .Results:Compared with the Mod group , Nef group could reverse the reduc-tion of body weight and the number of hippocampal neurons in hippocampus CA 1 region induced by 2-VO, increase the route and the time of platform finding, prolong the escape latency and decrease the number of platform cross on the 21st day, and the effects were bet-ter than those of Nim (P<0.05).Moreover, the down-regulated SYN and Notch1 protein expressions in CCI group were both increase after the Nef treatment on the 21st day.Conclusion:Nef has a protective effect on the function of learning and memory in CCI rats in-duced by 2-VO,which may be related with the strengthened Notch 1 pathway in CA1 region of hippocampus and synaptic plasticity .
