XST is much better than Aspirin in improving traditional Chinese syndrom.

Objective:To screen fatty acid synthase (FAS) inhibitors from natural products and study their inhibitory effects on the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells.Methods: CCK-8 method was used to detect the inhibitory effects of Fructus Amomi, Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb, Cinnamomi Ramulus and their main compounds, such as polydatin, resveratrol and cinnamic acid on the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells for 24 h.Results: The results showed that the IC50 values of the 60% ethanol extracts of Fructus Amomi, Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb, and Cinnamomi Ramulus were 24.86μg/ml, 153.67 μg/ml and 178 μg/ml respectively. The IC50 value of Resveratrol was 61.75 μg/ml. The inhibitory effect of Resveratrol was better than that of Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb. Cinnamic acid, the main component of Cinnamomi Ramulus had better inhibitory activity at lower concentration.Conclusion: The 60% ethanol extracts of Fructus Amomi, Polygonum cuspidatum Sieb, and Cinnamomi Ramulus all showed inhibitory effects on the proliferation of MCF-7 breast cancer cells in a dose-dependent manner. Among them, Fructus Amomi had the best inhibitory activity.

The habitat processing and the processing of Chinese herbal medicine (CHM) are the two closely linked to the link in Chinese traditional medicine industrial chain. This paper analyzes the internal relationship among the three aspects in the historical evolution from the historical origin, the professional differentiation, and the development; The research status of the five aspects, such as the integration from their industry definition background, proposal, significance, and current progress of the integration of the habitat processing and the processing of CHM. It is believed that the integration accords with the development trend of history, which is a good way to solve the problem of the quality of Chinese materia medica. Suggestion is given that we should pay more attention to the basic research, in-depth the industry research, the promotion of the industry legislation, and through the supervision of the industry, to the ensurence of the healthy and orderly development of the integration.

The integration of the habitat processing and the processing of Chinese herbal medicine is an effective way to ensure the quality of Chinese medicine decoction pieces. This paper analyzes the historical origins, generation and practice, and modern research results of “integration”. It is believed that “integration” is a historical inevitable trend of industry development, and it can effectively solve the problems of the confusion in habitat processing and the difficulty in ensuring the quality of the pieces. It has the positive meaning of being able to clarify product attributes and regulate the management of pieces, abandon the repeated links and simultaneously improve the quality of the pieces and the benefits of the enterprise, and change the status of scattered processing of Chinese herbal medicines in the field, ensure the cleanliness of the production environment and comprehensively improve mechanized production. From the current research results, “integration” can simplify the processing technology, retain more active ingredients and improve the efficacy of drugs, but some Chinese herbal medicines are not suitable for integration. It is suggested to further strengthen the basic research of the integrated decoction pieces in the future, further improve the standardization system of integrated decoction pieces, carry out top-level design of “integration” and cooperate with each other to ensure the healthy and orderly development of “integration”.

Objective: To isolate and identify Sertoli cells from mouse testis. Methods: Testis were isolated from male mouse aged 18-20 days old and were cultured by enzymatic digestion. The Sertoli cell gene with a zinc finger domain (SERZ) was obtained by RT-PCR and was inserted into pcDNA3.0 to construct recombinant plasimid pcDNA3.0-SERZ. pcDNA3.0-SERZ was then cleaved by restriction endonuclease K pn I and Xba I to obtain the linear templets for preparation of the probes. The expression of SERZ mRNA in the cultured cells was analyzed by in situ hybridization with the prepared probes. The expression of androgen binding protein (ABP) mRNA in the cultured cells was detected by RT-PCR. Results: Under light microscope, most Sertoli cells were polygonal and were completely extended, mimicking a membrane. The nuclei were triangular or irregular, weakly stained and with obvious nucleoli. The neighbouring cells were interlaced with one another and the cell purity was (85.1±2.5)%. SERZ mRNA was highly expressed in the cytoplasm of the cultured cells. RT-PCR showed that ABP mRNA was expressed in the cultured cells. Conclusion: We have successfully isolated and identified Sertoli cells from mouse testis, with the cell purity being (85.1±2.5)%.

Objective To investigate the prevalence of hepatitis B virus infection and its epidemiological characteristics among planned pregnancy couples in Chongqing.Methods A total of 10 712 planned pregnancy couples were selected by proportionally stratified multi-stage random sampling method during April and December 2013.A questionnaire survey was performed, and enzyme linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA) was used for hepatitis B virus surface antigen ( HBsAg ) and hepatitis B surface antibody ( anti-HBs) detection.SAS 8.2 was adopted for data process.Chi-square test and test for linear trend were performed to compare the rates of HBsAg and anti-HBs among different populations.Results Among 21 424 individuals, 1 718 (8.02%) were HBsAg positive.The positive rate of HBsAg in husbands was 9.48%, which was significantly higher than that in wives (6.55%,χ2 =63.39, P<0.01).Anti-HBs was positive in 8 967 (41.85%) individuals, and the positive rates in husbands and wives were 42.39% and 41.32%respectively (χ2 =2.54, P>0.05).The positive rates of HBsAg and anti-HBs increased with the age (χ2 =2.98 and 9.83,P<0.01).The highest HBsAg positive rate and lowest anti-HBs positive rate were observed among individuals of southeast of Chongqing.The positive rates of HBsAg and anti-HBs varied in people with different occupation.The highest HBsAg and anti-HBs positive rates were found in private business owners (9.18%) and public employees (49.69%) , respectively;and the lowest HBsAg and anti-HBs positive rates were found in public employees (6.79%) and farmers (39.08%), respectively.As the education level increased, HBsAg positive rate was decreasing (χ2 =-3.33, P<0.01), and anti-HBs positive rate was increasing (χ2 =9.73, P<0.01).Conclusions The prevalence of HBV infection is still high among planned pregnancy couples in Chongqing in the year of 2013.Vaccination and the related treatments should be enforced in population with high risk of HIV infection.

Objective To assess the changes of left ventricule and analyze the influential factors in pulmonary hypertension (PH) by comparing the changes of left ventricular volume and function using single cardiac cycle real-time three dimensional echocardiography ( sRT-3DE ) and two-dimensional echocardiography (2DE).Methods In case group,there were 30 inpatients diagnosed as PH,systolic pulmonary artery pressure(PASP)≥40 mmHg estimated by echocardiography,excluding left heart disease or congenital systemic-pulmonary circulation shunt.There were 30 healthy people as control group.Conventional 2DE and sRT-3DE were performed in both groups and obtained 2D and 3D parameters.Results ①In case group,the 2D-LVEF were significantly larger than 3D-LVEF (P ＜ 0.01 ).There was less agreement of 2DE and 3DE in case group than in control.②Comparing with the control group,left ventricular EDV,ESV and SV in ease group decreased ( P ＜0.01 ),so as to 3D-LVEF ( P ＜0.05).The left ventricular spherical index(SIs,SId)and eccentric index (EId,EIs ) in case group were significantly larger than those in control group ( P ＜0.01 ).③LVEDV in case group was negatively correlated with PASP (r =- 0.47),and positively correlated with RVSV and RVEF ( r =0.84,0.66) ;3D-LVEF in case group was negatively correlated with PASP ( r =- 0.54),and positively correlated with RVSV and RVEF ( r =0.58,0.53); there was no significant correlation between LVEDV and RVEDV.LVEDV was negatively correlated with SIs and SId ( r =-0.65,-0.61),so as to EId and EIs ( r =-0.67,0.67).LVEF was negatively correlated with SIs and SId ( r =-0.64,-0.61),so as to EId and EIs ( r =-0.66,-0.68),and the corresponding P all above were less than 0.01.Conclusions PH can result in reductions of left ventricular volume and systolic function,and the variations of which have the correlations with the severity of PH and the increase in SI and EI.sRT-3DE can provide a method to get more accurate information of left ventricle.

Objective To explore the effect of cutting biopsy needle on decompression for lumbar disc prolapse and nursing measures? Method One hundred and twenty patients with lumbar disc prolapse were managed with intervertebral disc decompression as well as perioperative nursing? Results All of them had their pains significantly relieved one or two days after decompression? The follow-ups for 3 months to 1 year confirmed the effectiveness rate of 96?7%,excellent effectiveness rate of 89?2% and no complication?Conclusions The decompression by cutting needle biopsy,is advantageous for its operative simplicity,alleviation of pains,fewer adverse reactions and lower rate of complications? The perioperative nursing strategy and recovery instruction are critical for improved curative effect and prevention of relapse?

Objective: To determine the value of intercostal video mediastinoscopy (VMS) in clinical application. Methods: The clinical data of 126 patients treated with intercostal VMS were summarized retrospectively. Of them, 8 patients with suspected malignant pleural effusion underwent intercostal VMS pleural biopsy and talc poudrage pleurodesis, 118 patients with palmar hyperhidrosis underwent bilateral intercostal VMS sympathectomy. Results: Definitive pathologic diagnosis has been made through VMS pleural biopsy in pleural effusion group, and the efficiency of talc pleurodesis was 100%(8/8). In 118 patients with palmar hyperhidrosis, the symptom of hands sweating disappeared completely after operation. Both hands became dry with an increasing skin temperature of 1 5℃～3 0℃ immediately after operation. No recurrence was recorded during the follow up. No mortality and morbidity were reported in this group. Conclusion: Comparing with VATS, intercostal VMS is easier to operate and less invasive. It is an effective and alternative procedure in the treatment of malignant pleural effusion and palmar hyperhidrosis.
