Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of point Neiguan thumbtack needles in preventing and treating gastroscopy-induced nausea and vomiting. Methods Two hundred patients meeting the inclusion criteria were randomly allocated to treatment and control groups, 100 cases each. Before gastroscopy, both groups took lidocaine mucilage and the treatment group received point Neiguan thumbtack needle therapy additionally. Nausea and vomiting were observed in both groups of patients during gastroscopy. Results There were statistically significant post-treatment differences in nausea and vomiting severity and patients’ satisfaction between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusions Point Neiguan thumbtack needle therapy can relieve gastroscopy-induced nausea and vomiting and raise patients’ satisfaction.

This article was aimed to study the effect of Baohe granules for patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome and the effect of gastrointestinal hormone secretion. Patients with CHF were used as the object of study. A total of 80 selected patients were divided into 2 groups. The control group was treated with western medicine anti-heart failure therapy. The treatment group was treated with the combination of Baohe granules. All patients were compared in aspects of TCM efficacy, symptom score and serum gastrin, motilin secretion after two-week medication. The results showed that both treatments can significantly improve the TCM syn-drome and symptom total score of CHF patients. And the effect of the treatment group with Baohe granules was bet-ter. The TCM single symptom integral was also obviously improved in the treatment group combined with Baohe granules, which included heart palpitations, shortness of breath, abdominal distension, and loss of appetite. The GAS and MTL levels of CHF patients were significantly increased in the treatment group. It was concluded that the treat-ment combined with Baohe granules can improve CHF patients with TCM syndromes, symptoms and gastrointestinal hormone secretion. Thus, it contributed to the stability of the disease condition. It can slow the disease progression and improve prognosis. So it is worth using widely in the clinical practice.

Objective: To observe curative effect of radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) and changes of cardiac function and left atrial diameter after operation in patients with atrial fibrillation (AF). Methods: A total of 28 AF patients with obvious clinical symptoms and without effective for drug therapy received RFCA in our hospital, their data were retrospectively analyzed.
They received RFCA under guidance of three dimensional electro-anatomic mapping (EAM) system. Changes of cardiac function and left atrial diameter were evaluated by echocardiography and curative effect was evaluated by ambulary blood pressure monitoring before, three and six months after operation. Results: Pulmonary vein isolation rate was 100% in all patients. No severe complication occurred during or after operation. After six-month follow-up, 27 cases(96.4%)did not recur AF among the 28 patients; Compared with before operation, there were significant decrease in left atrial diameter [(37.3±4.8) mm vs. (33.6±4.5) mm] and significant increase in left ventricular ejection fraction [(59.8±8.7) % vs. (64.2±6.8) %] by echocardiography, P<0.05 both. Conclusion: Radiofrequency catheter ablation is safe and effective in treatment of atrial fibrillation, and there are significant improvements in cardiac function and left atrial diameter.

Objective To investigate the serum levels of IL-10 and TGF-β1 and their significance for patients with sys-temic lupus erythematosus( SLE) .Methods A total of 135 cases were available for the study including 63 cases in primary group(A), 40 cases in remission group(B) and 32 cases in healthy control group(C).ELISA method was used to deter-mine the concentrations of IL-10 and TGF-β1 in serum. Finally, the results of group A were analyzed on the basis of System-ic Lupus Erythematosus Disease Activity Index( SLEDAI) .Results The level of IL-10 in serum of group A was significant-ly higher than that of group B and group C.The level of IL-10 in serum of group B was significantly higher than that of group C(P<0.05).The level of IL-10 in group A had active correlation with SLEDAI.The level of TGF-β1 in serum of group A was significantly lower than that of group B and group C.There was no statistical difference between group B and group C(P>0.05).The level of TGF-β1 in serum of group A had negative correlation with SLEDAI.The cases in group A were divided into three subgroups by SLEDAI:21 cases in mild activities subgroup, 30 cases in moderate activities sub-group,and 12 cases in severe activities subgroup, the levels of IL-10 and TGF-β1 in the three subgroups were significantly different(P<0.05).Conclusions IL-10 and TGF-β1 are involved in activity and severity of SLE.

Background:The pathogenesis of irritable bowel syndrome(IBS)is not fully known, social psychological factor is the important factor of IBS,especially the relationship with anxiety and depression. Aims:To investigate psychological stress factor, anxiety and depression in IBS patients among soldiers in northeast area. Methods:A total of 11 400 soldiers in northeast area were enrolled by multistage, stratified, cluster random sampling method asking to fulfill a questionnaire on IBS. Zung self-rating anxiety scale(SAS)and Zung self-rating depression scale(SDS)were assessed, and the relationship with anxiety, depression and stress was analyzed. Results:The incidence of IBS was 15. 9% . Prevalences of anxiety and depression in IBS group were significantly higher than those in non-IBS group(22. 9% vs. 9. 6% ,26. 6% vs. 12. 4% ,P< 0. 05). Score of SAS and SDS in IBS group were significantly higher than those in non-IBS group(50. 86 ± 7. 27 vs. 36. 54 ± 6. 97,53. 47 ± 7. 86 vs. 38. 25 ± 9. 83,P < 0. 05). Positive correlation was found between score of SAS and SDS and stress factors such as feeling lonely, depression, intensive training, working pressure, poor relationship with colleagues, solving emergency event or participating in military exercises in IBS group(P < 0. 05). Conclusions:IBS in soldiers is related with stress and psychological factors.

With the acceleration of the aging process of the population in China, the utilization rate and transfer rate of ICU have significantly increased. More and more ICU survivors have post intensive care syndrome. If they cannot be intervened in time, the quality of life of patients will be seriously affected, and at the same time, the readmission rate will increase, impacting the scarce medical resources. Critical care recovery center have been established abroad for early identification and intervention of post intensive care syndrome. This paper intended to analyze the construction theory and operation mode of foreign critical care recovery center, summarize foreign experience, and put forward corresponding suggestions in combination with China′s national conditions, so as to provide reference for the construction of ritical care recovery center in China, with a view to providing long-term rehabilitation care services for patients with post intensive care syndrome in China.

Objective To observe the effect of propofol and etomidate for anesthesia induction on hemodynamics and adverse reactions during the perioperative period. Methods One hundred patients undergoing elective abdominal surgery were randomly divided into the propofol group (Group P) and etomidate group(Group E). For anesthesia induc-tion, successively injected midazolam-propofol-fentanyl-rocuronium in Group P, and the propofol was replaced by eto-midate in Group P. The circulation, stress and the adverse reactions before induction(T0), before intubation(T1), 3 min after intubation (T2), two groups were recorded. Results Compared with the P group, the T1 SBP, HR, T2 SBP, DBP, and HR were higer in E group; The incidence of injection pain was higher in Group P , but the incidence of muscle tremors was lower in Group P(P<0.05). Conclusion The etomidate is more suitable for the patients with hemodynamic instability. Both etomidate and propofol has no effect on blood sugar.
