The proposal to promote the commercialization of new insect-resistant GM cotton,GM corn and other major products in 13th Five Year Plan on National Science and Technology Innovation ,has put forward a test to the government's ability to manage GM crops cultivation.Only a few species of GM crops,not including food crops,have been commercialized in China,we lack experience in GM crops cultivation management.Taking USA,where the farmers cultivate huge areas of GM crops,as a comparison object,the examination and approval procedures before cultivation,GM crop growers' obligation of the management,the methods to reduce mingling of GM crops and non-GM crops are compared.And concludes that the differences in legal status of GM crops,the intellectual property regime and labeling regulation,the ability of relative stakeholders to implement segregation measures and bear loss lead to different regulation on GM crops cultivation management in USA and China.The government combine the domestic current situation of the agricultural environment in our country,and focus on substantial risk in the safety management of GM crops in cultivation management is advised.The competent department of agriculture,researchers and seed traders should work together to help guide growers to avoid the economic disputes due to mingling and reduce the impact on the ecological environment.

To investigate the efficacy of acupuncture plus puerarin and glucose injection for treating cervical vertigo. Method:110 cases of cervical vertigo were divided into the treatment group and control group. 65 cases in the treatment group were treated by acupuncture plus puerarin and glucose injection and 45 cases in the control group were treated with Western medications. Results:In the treatment group,the results showed cure in 33 cases,effect in 29 cases and failure in 3 cases,and the total effective rate in 95.38%. In the control group,the results showed cure in 12 cases,effect in 23 cases and failure in 10 cases,and the total effective rate in 77.87%. In comparison of the total effective rate between the two groups,the treatment group was better than the control group (P＜0.01). Conclusion:The therapeutic effect is better in the treatment of cervical vertigo by acupuncture plus herbal medicine than that by Western medications.

Objective To investigate the association of single nuchotide polymorphism (SNP) + 45 T/G and + 276 G/T in the adiponectin gene with type 2 diabetes in Guangxi Zhuang pregnant women.Methods Polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method was used to determine the distributions of allele and genotype frequencies of SNP + 45T/G polymorphism and SNP + 276 G/T polymorphism in adiponect in gene in 98 type 2 diabetic patients and 135 normal control subjects.Results The TG,GG genotype frequencies of the SNP +45T/G were higher in gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) than those in controls (P ＜ 0.05).The G-allele frequency was significantly higher than those in controls (P ＜ 0.05).The distribution of genotype and allele frequencies of the SNP + 276 G/T polymorphism was not different in diabetes and control groups (P ＞ 0.05).Women carrying the TG and GG allele of SNP +45T/G showed higher TG (P ＜0.05),and lower APN levels than those with TT genotype (P ＜0.05).Conclusions G allele of SNP +45T/G was related to GDM possibly.T→G variation might involve in the occurrence of GDM by reducing serum diponectin levels.Monitoring this site in pregnant women could predict the risk of GDM.

ABSTRACT:The seasonal characteristics of Japanese encephalitis (JE) in Gansu Province in 1962-2010 were analyzed in order to provide reference for making strategies of disease control and prevention .The JE data is the Epidemic Data between 1962 and 2003 from Gansu CDC ,and National Notifiable Diseases Registry System (NNDRS ,2004-2010) .Concentration ra‐tio and circular distribution method were used in this study .Results showed that the M‐value of the seasonal distribution of JE in 1962-2010 was 0 .825 9 .The corresponding peak date of JE was the 30th August (95% CI:22 July to 7 October) .The Z value of Rayleigh test was 3 506 .092 5 (P<0 .01) .In conclusion ,the concentration and circular distribution method helps us to grasp the JE epidemic peak season more accurately .There were significant seasona1 characteristics for JE in Gansu Province and the epidemic peak was from late July to early October .

Objective: To develop a stable and simple method to measure the content of aloe oligosaccharides. Methods: After the conversion coefficient of aloe oligosaccharides to glucose was obtained, the content of aloe oligosaccharides was measured by phenol sulfuric acid method. Results: The correlation coefficient of standard curve is 0.9993, the recovery rate is 95.3% and RSD is 1.23%. Conclusion: The method can be applied to aloe and aloe products.

Objective To observe the value of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound (TVCDU) in the diagnosis of endo-metrial lesions.Methods All 246 patients suspected of endometrial diseases underwent TVCDU and transabdominal ultra-sonography.Ultrasonographic characteristics,especially the uterine endometrial thickness and blood flow distribution were observed,and the results were compared with surgery and pathological results.Results A total of 242 patients were pathologically diagnosed as endometrial diseases.TVCDU diagnosed 232 cases,with the diagnostic accordance rate of 95.87%.Transabdominal ultrasonography diagnosed 182 cases,with the diagnostic accordance rate of 75.21%.TVCDU was superior to transabdominal color Doppler examination (P<0.05).Conclusion TVCDU has high diagnosis accordance rate and can be used as routine examination of endometrial diseases.

AIM: To investigate the anticoagulant effect of pravastatin and low molecular weight heparin (LMWH), as well as their combination, over time, in a rat model of experimental nephrotic syndrome. METHODS: Healthy SD male rats were chosen randomly to perform nephrotic syndrome models by single injection of adriamycin via tail vein, the matched normal control rats received single injection of equivalent 0.9% sodium chloride instead. After 14 days, the models were set up and randomized into model control group, pravastatin group (pravastatin 2 mg·kg-1·d-1 gavage once a day), LMWH group(LMWH 200 U·kg-1·d-1 intraperitoneal injection once a day) and combined treatment group(pravastatin 2 mg·kg-1·d-1 gavage+ LMWH 200 μ·kg-1·d-1 intraperitoneal injection), then all rats underwent measuring proteinuria every two weeks and fibrinogen, antithrombinⅢ(ATⅢ), D-dimer, platelet count, serum total protein and serum albumin after 4 weeks of treatment. RESULTS: The concentration of fibrinogen and D-dimer in model group was higher significantly than that in control group, and the level of ATⅢ was lower remarkably than that in control group, but platelet count had no obvious change; Compared with model group, pravastatin could increase the level of ATⅢ and decrease the concentration of D-dimer, but the concentration of fibrinogen and platelet count did not change obviously; LMWH and combined treatment could also decrease level of D-dimer, but had no great effects on ATⅢ, fibrinogen and platelet count; all treatment group had no obvious change of serum total protein and serum albumin. CONCLUSION: Adriamycin-induced nephrotic syndrome rat models have hypercoagulability and pravastatin can increase the level of ATⅢ.

Objective To analyze the changes of primary disease and demography of patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) who started dialysis between 2008 and 2013 in Zhejiang province, in order to provide statistical support for the improvement of dialysis quality.Methods The study retrospectively reviewed all the incident ESRD patients on dialysis registered in Zhejiang Dialysis Quality Control Center from 2008 to 2013.Their demographics and primary cause were investigated.Stratified analysis based on dialysis modality, duration and age were conducted.Results A total of 26 310 incident ESRD patients who started dialysis between 2008 and 2013 in Zhejiang were selected, among which 14 886 cases were male and 11 424 cases were female (male: female: 1.30: 1).The study gave priority to patients aged 45 and above (73.9％), with an average age of (55.7± 16.1) years.The top primary disease was chronic glomerulonephritis (51.3％), followed by diabetic nephropathy (17.3％) and hypertensive nephrosclerosis (6.4％).From 2008 to 2013, the incidence of dialysis was 46.3, 60.1, 71.2, 85.8, 104.1, and 119.9 per million population respectively.The average age of patients was increased year by year, from 52.4, 53.3, 54.8, 56.0, 56.9, to 57.6 years.The share of peritoneal dialysis, as well as the promotion of diabetic nephropathy in primary disease was on the rise.With the increase of age, the proportion of primary diseases such as diabetic nephropathy and hypertension nephrnsclerosis was increased.Conclusions In Zhejiang province, incident dialysis patients increase annually.More males than females are on dialysis.The average age and proportion of peritoneal dialysis are rising.The leading cause is chronic glomerulonephritis, but the incidence of diabetic nephropathy is on the increase, which requires attention.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is one kind of special subjects involving multiple clinical disciplines.The postgraduate training is different from other professional postgraduate training model,which emphasizes the cultivation of students,should be first medical students,then dentist.In new situation,we advance the experiences in exploring how to cultivate high quality postgraduate of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
