OBJECTIVE: To establish an HPLC method for the determination of Quercetin in Duizuoye tablet. METHODS: HPLC analysis was carried out on Dikma-ODS C18 column (250 mm?4.6 mm, 5 ?m) with methanol-0.4% phosphoric acid solution(53∶47) as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL?min-1; the detection wavelength was set at 370 nm and the column temperature was maintained at 35 ℃. RESULTS: The calibration curve for Quercetin was linear in the range of 1.31～9.17 ?g?mL-1 (r=0.999 8).The average recovery was 98.06%, with RSD of 1.05% (n=6).CONCLUSION: The adopted method is simple, rapid and accurate, and suitable for the quality control of Duizuoye tablet.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the perioperative application of antibacterials in our hospital.METHODS: The application of antibacterial drugs in 142 surgery patients sampled randomly from our hospital in 2006 was investigated in respect of the variety of drugs,medication time and drug combination etc.RESULTS: 100% of the total 142 cases received antibacterials for prophylaxis purpose for 6.8 days on average.58 cases(40.8%) received antibacterials before operation,8 cases(5.6%) during operation and 76 cases(53.5%) after operation.35.8% were rational on the whole and 64.2% irrational in drug use.CONCLUSIONS: The application of antibacterials in our hospital is worrisome,therefore,it is urgent to tighten control on the clinical application of antibacterials.

DICOM is an international standard in medical imaging and communication. This paper introduces the design of digital X-ray data storage and communication according to DICOM3.0 and emphasizes the implementation of such modules as the ones for communication and data storage.

This paper develops a type of x-ray unit which can produce x-ray image suitable for medical diagnosis. The unit is composed of a CCD image sensor with high sensitivity and high resolution, a digital image acquisition board, and a suit of computer software. The software can be applied as the doctor's workstation with the functions of patient register, image process and image management. Some styles of digital radiography technology are introduced briefly, and the principle of the x-ray unit as well as its hardware and software designs are presented particularly.

Objective:To explore how coping style and social support influence the quality of life in patients with impaired glucose tolerance, which act respectively as the internal and external mediating ways. Methods:A total of 283 patients with impaired glucose tolerance from 6 Three-A hospitals in China were surveyed with self-rating anxiety scale, self-rating depression scale, trait coping style questionnaire, social support scale, and WHOQOL-BREF.
Results:Biographic data failed to predict the quality of life in patients with impaired glucose tolerance, while anxiety, depression, social support and coping style significantly influenced their quality of life.
Conclusion:The fact that emotional disorder, social support and coping style influence the quality of life in patients with type 2 diabetes also exists in patients with impaired glucose tolerance.
