1.A Study of the Reverse Effect of Tetramethylpyrazine on the Resistant Cell Strain A2780/ADM of Human Ovarian Carcinoma
Journal of Medical Research 2006;0(06):-
Objective To study the reverse roles of reverse effect of tetramethylpyrazine on the resistance to adriamycin in human ovarian carcinoma cell line A2780/ADM.Methods The drug sensitivity of A2780/ADM cells was measured by MTT assay. The intracellular concentration of ADM was determined by fluorescent spectrophotometry. The changes of cell apoptosis percentage of A2780/ADM was demonstrated by flow cytometry. Results The IC50 value of TMP in A2780/ADM cell line was significantly decreased by the non-cytotoxic dose or low-cytotoxic dose of TMP.The resistance reversing effect comparing with the IC50 value of ADM cells was respectively 2.07 folds. The intracellular ADM concentration in A2780/ADM cells was significantly elevated by TMP at the same dose and the cell apoptosis percentage was significantly increased by TMP.The expression of P-gp was reduced significantly by TMP.Conclusion TMP could reverse the resistance of human ovarian carcinoma of A2780/ADM cell line to ADM,which may be related to the increased intracellular.

Objective To explore the correlation between ultrasonographic findings and relevant technical factors in traumatic lipohemarthrosis. Methods Fifty-two patients with traumatic lipohemarthrosis underwent ultrasonic examination in supine position (26 in unbent, 16 in external rotary position, 10 in unbent and 45° rotation) before operation, and 22 of them underwent dynamic examination. Findings of ultrasography were compared with manifestations of MRI and CT regarded as gold standard. Results Fifty-two patients with traumatic lipohemarthrosis were diagnosed correctly. The best effect of ultrasonic examination of lipohemarthrosis was observed on suprapatellar bursa. Superior border of patella were showed well in supine straight position, then turned to the level of patella, and the structure below patella were showed badly. The best posture was in supine genuflex position with 45° rotation when the joint effusion presented, by which thicker layer liquids could be displayed than in straight position. Three layer liquids could not be displayed synchronously in mild external rotary rest position of lower extremity, and the combination of findings at internal and external side were favorable to the diagnosis. Liquids bed changed from one layer to two layers and then to three layers, from fuzzy to clear gradually in dynamic examination. Conclusion Ultrasonic manifestations of traumatic lipohemarthrosis are closely correlated to the position, posture and arresting time during examination.

Objective To compare the diagnostic value of MR conventional sagittal-axial plane and coronal iterative decomposition of water and fat with echo asymmetry and least-squares estimation (IDEAL) technique in diagnosis of extraforaminal lumbar disc herniation (ELDH).Methods Totally 32 patients with ELDH confirmed by surgery underwent preoperative MR sagittal-axial plane and coronal IDEAL scanning.Disc herniation, nerve involvement, nerve angle, nerve deep impression, nerve thinning or truncation, nerve adhesion unsmooth and nerve swelling were analyzed between the two methods. Results Disc herniation, nerve involvement and number of reduction or disappearance of surrounding fat had no statistically significant differences between the two methods (all P>0.05),while nerve angle, nerve deep impression, nerve thinning or truncation, nerve adhesion unsmooth and nerve swelling were significantly different between the two methods (all P<0.05).Surgical operation confirmed that 32 patients with nerve compression were consistent with findings by IDEAL.Conclusion MR sagittal-axial plane and coronal IDEAL both can be used to diagnose ELDH,but their display ability of nerve compression is different.Coronal IDEAL is superior to conventional sagittal-axial plane and is an effective imaging method, being able to display nerve compression more intuitively, clearly and comprehensively.

Objective:To explore the morphology and vessel distribution of the scapholunate interosseous ligament and anatomical basis for the clinical reconstruction of scapholunate interosseous ligament. Methods:From October, 2018 to December, 2018, 12 fresh wrist joint specimens were perfused with gelatin-lead oxide solution from ulnar or radial artery and scanned under micro-CT. The morphology of scapholunate interosseous ligament in neutral position and the distribution of nutrient vessels in the ligament were observed on reconstructed 3D images by Mimics. The width, length and thickness of palmar, dorsal and proximal ligaments were measured. The anatomical parameters at the entrance of nutrient vessels in the scapholunate interosseous ligament were taken and their relationship with the blood supply to the scapholunate was analyzed.Results:①For scapholunate interosseous ligament, it was found that the average length of the proximal sub-region was the longest, the length of palmar and dorsal sides was similar to each other and the widest and thinnest was in palmar side, while the thickness and width of dorsal and proximal were similar. ②There was no nutrient vessel in the proximal part of the scapholunate interosseous ligament. But there were abundant nutrient vessels in the palmar and dorsal scapholunate interosseous ligament, and there was no significant difference in blood supply to palmar and dorsal scapholunate interosseous ligament ( P>0.05). ③The palmar and dorsal medial nutrient vessels that supply to the scapholunate interosseous ligament enter the scapholunate from the attachment of ligament of scapholunate interosseous joint. Conclusion:The palmar side of the scapholunate interosseous ligament is wider and thinner than that of the other subareas, which makes it more vulnerable to injury from an anatomical point of view. There is abundant blood supply to the palmar and dorsal subareas of the scapholunate interosseous ligament and the supplying vessels anastomose inside the scapholunate bone. There is no distribution of blood vessel at the proximal part of scapholunate interosseous ligament, hence is difficult to heal. An injury of palmar and dorsal ligaments may affect the blood supply of scapholunate.
