Objective To study the changes of serum and tissue soluble interleukin-2 receptor (slL-2R) and soluble intercellular adhesion moleculer-1 (sICAM-1) in eolorectal cancer and their clinical significance. Methods Serum levels of sIL-2R and sICAM-1 were detected by the double antibody sandwich ELISA method in 44 colorectal cancer patients before and after operation, 28 polyp intestinal and 30 controls. Simultaneously, tissue levels of them were measured in co]oreetal cancer and polyp intestinal. Results The serum sIL-2R[(209.27±127.42) pmol/L] and sICAM-1[(693.22±276.25) ng/ml] in coiorectal cancer were significantly higher than those in the polyp intestinal and controls. The tissue sIL-2R [(233.66±170.22)pmol/L] and sICAM-l[(706.92±286.09) ng/ml] in colorectal cancer were significantly higher than those in the polyp intestinal. The serum and tissue levels of sIL-2R and sICAM-1 in colorectal cancer had relationships with Duke stages and no relationships with the histological differentiation. The levels of serum sIL-2R and sICAM-1 declined remarkably after one month of radical operation, but it decreased illegibly after palliative operation. Conclusion Alterations of serum and tissue sIL-2R and sICAM-1 levels may be used as indicators of diagnosis, choice of operative method, judgement of prognosis in eoloreetal cancer.

Objective To study the changes of serum and tissue soluble intercellular adhesion molecule(sICAM)-1 in colorectal cancer patients and their clinical significance. Methods Serum level of sICAM-1 was detected by the double antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay method in 44 patients with colorectal cancer before and after operation, 28 patients with intestinal polyps and 30 controls.Simultaneously, tissue level of sICAM-1 was measured in the patients of colorectal cancer and intestinal polyps. Results The serum sICAM-1 level in colorectal cancer patients[ (693.22±276.25) mg/L]was significantly higher than that in the intestinal polyps patients [(61.99±27.39) mg/L]and healthy controls[(59.28±27.55) mg/L]. The tissue sICAM-1 level in the colorectal cancer [(706.92±286.09)mg/L ]was significantly higher than that in the intestinal polyps patients[ (63.06±27.06) mg/L,P<0.01 ]. The serum and tissue levels of sICAM-1 in Dukes C-D stages of the colorectal cancer showed significantly higher than those in Dukes A-B stages (P<0.01 ). The level of sICAM-1 declined remarkably after one month of radical operation. Conversely, it decreased illegibly after palliative operation. Conclusion Dynamic alterations of serum and tissue sICAM-1 level may be used as indicators of diagnosis, choice of operative method and judgment of prognosis in patients with colorectal cancer.

Objective To assess the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of Driving Anger Scale (DAS) in professional drivers in China and provide a scientific basis for the application of the scale in drivers in China. Methods Professional drivers, including taxi drivers, bus drivers, truck drivers and school bus drivers, were selected to complete the questionnaire. Cronbach's α and split-half reliability were calculated to evaluate the reliability of DAS, and content, contract, discriminant and convergent validity were performed to measure the validity of the scale. Results The overall Cronbach'sα of DAS was 0.934 and the split-half reliability was 0.874. The correlation coefficient of each subscale with the total scale was 0.639-0.922. The simplified version of DAS supported a presupposed six-factor structure, explaining 56.371% of the total variance revealed by exploratory factor analysis. The DAS had good convergent and discriminant validity, with the success rate of calibration experiment of 100%. Conclusion DAS has a good reliability and validity in professional drivers in China, and the use of DAS is worth promoting in divers.
