Objective To find out the impact of different surveillance models on the quality of injury surveillance and to provide a scientific basis for improving the quality of injury surveillance based in emergency departments and based on the basic data for evaluating the quality and advancing its method. Methods On the premise of the same surveillance, process and method, the injury reports the two trained groups(part-time and full-time)filled out within one month from July 28th to August 27th in 2007 were collected. They were processed in the computer, examined, and finally compared. Results The omitted rate of PTSIS was 31.44%,higher than that of FTSIS,especially during the latter part of night when it was easier for the two models to be omitted. There was a difference in error in the report-filling:Part-time group was often found to have omitted "telephone number","the cause of injury" and "intent",while the full-time group more readily left out "injury severity","patient disposition",and "responder".The part-time group did a better job on "the mechanism of injury" and "disposition",and the integrity of their report-filling was greater than that of the full-time group by 12.84%.Conclusions The omitted rate of PTSIS is higher than that of FTSIS,while the quality of the report from PTSIS is better than that of FTSIS.Therefore in the condition of the limited resources,part-time groups' active participation in the injury surveillance should be encouraged. The full-time groups are expected to be trained for it if resources permit.

Aim To study the inhibitory effect of ginkgolide B (BN52021) on the PAF induced changes of chemotaxis of murine peritoneal macrophages and the related polymerization of F-actin.Methods Chemotaxis assays were performed using a modified 48-well Boyden chamber. Actin polymerization of murine peritoneal macrophages was analyzed by flow cytometry using a specific fluorescent stain. Results Peritoneal macrophages significantly migrated toward platelet-activating factor(PAF) through a micropore filter; however, in the presence of PAF receptor antagonist BN52021 (0. 01the actin polymerization of murine peritoneal macrophages induced by PAF in the presence of Ca2+ , but not in Ca2+ -free medium. Conclusion The results suggested that preventing polymerization of F-actin may be a pathway by BN52021 to inhibit the chemotaxis of macrophages, and this effect seems to be Ca2+dependent. The data further indicated that inhibition of PAF induced macrophage chemotaxis is an important mechanism underlying the anti-inflammatory action of BN52021.

Objective To explore the characteristics of polysomnography (PSG) of depressed patients and the correlation between rapid eye movement (REM) and severity degree of depression. Methods Polysomnography was used to assess patients'sleep condition and Montgomery-Asberg depression scale (MADRS) was used to assess the severity degree of depression. 90 patients and 30 healthy controls were included. Results Compared to healthy controls, sleep progress of depressed patients changed as follow:prolonged sleep latency((25.2 ±15.25) minutes) ,lowered sleep efficiency(0.853 ±0.11) ;the architecture of sleep also changed:percentage of stage 1 increased( (27.7 ± 16.38) % ),percentage of REM sleep increased( (22. 8 ± 6. 1 ) % ) , percentage of stage 2 decreased ((40.2±11.3)%), percentage of slow wave sleep decreased ((11.8 ±9. 32)%); REM sleep significantly changed; decreased REM latency((79. 27 ±30. 44) minutes) , increased REM activity((129. 0 ±53. 12) u) .increased intensity of REM((36.7 ±14.0)u/min), increased REM density((159.2 ±57.2)u/min) were observed in depressed patients. There was no obvious correlation between the variance of REM and severity degree of depression. Conclusion There are a series of changes in sleep progress, architecture and REM sleep of depression and the change of REM sleep can be specified to diagnose depression. However, there is no causality between REM variance and severity of depression.

Objective To investigate the reasonable anticoagulant therapy for patients over sixty five years old in Yunnan-Guizhou plateau after heart biological valve replacement , and study the standard of reasonable anticoagulant therapy. Methods We collected the recent cases by retrospective way . Low-intensity anticoagulation standard INR (1.5~2.5) was used on 130 patients over sixty five years old. The warfarin dose and anticoagulation INR values in different surgery operation were compared when the patients reached the stable anticoagulation status. The frequency of INR values and warfarin dosage were studied. The differences between the patients with high risk factors and the ordinary patients without the high risk factors in INR values and warfarin dosage were investigated. Results The INR values and warfarin doses showed no significant difference (P > 0.05) in different operation groups when they reached stable anticoagulation status. The INR values was 1.94 ± 0.50 and the daily warfarin dose was (2.45 ± 0.82)mg/d. No significant differences in INR values and warfarin doses were found between the high-risk group and the general group (P>0.05) in steady-state. During follow-up, both the incidence rate of thrombosis and general bleeding were 0.77%. Conclusion The precent study showed that the low-intensity anticoagulation INR values (1.5~2.5) can be the standard of reasonable anticoagulation in Yunnan-Guizhou plateau after heart biological valve replacement with satisfactory anticoagulant effect.
