Objective To establish a cell line and a convenient and well-duplicated minimal residual leukemia (MRL) model. Methods We chose the international standard domestic inbred DBA/2 mouse to inoculate the different numbers of L1210 leukemic cells to investigate the relationship between inoculating cell number and mouse survival time. On the third day after 1×106 leukemic cells per mouse were inoculated, different doses of CTX were used for the chemotherapy. Results The inoculating number of L1210 leukemic cells increased while the mouse survival time decreased;The survival time increased following the increase of the doses of the CTX;The survival time of the inoculated mouse treated with CTX at 125 mg/kg was equal to that of the mouse inoculated with 500 L1210 leukemic cells without treatment. Conclusion The observation results are that the dose of 125 mg/kg for creating the model of MRL mouse.

The gallbladder bed bleeding which results from the disrupt of the branches of the middle hepatic vein is a ticklish problem in the operation. It will complicate the surgical operation, confuse the anatomic structttre, cause serious complications and is a main reason for conversion. Thus, we compose this review to expound the topographic anatomy of the branches of the middle hepatic vein as well as the prevention and treatment to the injure of the branches of the middle hepatic vein.

OBJECTIVE:To observe the efficacy of levoamlodipine besylate combined with piracetam for vascular dementia(VD).METHODS:66 patients with VD were enrolled:33(treatment group) were assigned to receive Levoamlodipine besylate 2.5～5 mg q.d plus piracetam 0.8 g tid for 3 months,and another 33(control group) to receive piracetam 0.8 g tid plus basic treatment based on patients' blood glucose,blood pressure and blood lipid levels.The patients were given 3-month follow-up.Mini-Mental State Examination(MMSE),Activity of Daily Living Scale(ADL),Hasegawa Dementia Scale(HDS) and Wechsler Memory Scale(WMS) were used to evaluate the patient's cognitional function and mental state before and after treatment.RESULTS:MMSE,ADL,HDS,and WMS scores after treatment were(22.48?3.25),(25.16?8.96),(23.14?2.91),(71.14?19.01),respectively in treatment group versus(20.56?3.18),(29.74?13.01),(20.41?6.25),(60.35?20.60),respectively in control group.The treatment had a better improvement in symptoms than control group did and there was statistical difference between groups(P

Objective:To analyze the association between gene single nucleotide polymorphisms ( SNP) of methylenetetrahydrofo-late reductase ( MTHFR) gene and lower extremity atherosclerotic disease ( LEAD) . Methods:The clinical data and peripheral blood were collected from 384 participants (224 LEAD cases and 160 normal controls) from Han population of Minnan Fujian. LEAD was detected with ankle brachial index ( ABI) , toe brachial index ( TBI) , color Doppler ultrasonic examination and the other imaging stud-ies. The SNP genotypes including rs1801133, rs1801131, rs2274976, rs4846048, rs3737966, rs1537515, rs4846049, rs3834044, rs13306561 and rs3737964 in the MTHFR gene were detected by matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization-time of flight ( MALDI-TOF) . Results:The genotype distributions of the ten loci were in accordance with Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. There were 37 obvi-ous linkage disequilibrium, including the association between rs4846048 and rs3737966 (D′>0. 9) and so on. There were significant differences (P=0. 02) in GCCTCGGAAT haplotypes of MTHFR gene groups between LEAD cases and the normal groups. The results from chi-square test of allele frequencies suggested rs1801131 (OR=1. 287),rs4846048 (OR=1. 844,P=0. 02), rs3737966(OR=1. 339),rs4846049 (OR=1. 314) and rs3737964 (OR=1. 522). Significant differences (P<0. 05) were observed between LEAD and the normal groups in Cochran- Armitage trend test and Dominant gene action test of rs4846048. Conclusion: The SNP of rs1801131,rs4846048,rs3737966,rs4846049 and rs3737964 might be associated with the susceptibility of LEAD,and rs4846048 gene mutation might serve as a risk factor for LEAD in the community-based population.

Objective: To explore the clinical effect of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome differentiation in the treatment of pneumoconiosis. Methods: We selected 160 pneumoconiosis patients who were hospitalized in our hospital from July 2015 to July 2016. 102 patients were divided into experimental groups, and the other 58 patients were assigned to the control group. These patients were randomly assigned. The control group was given routine treatment, while the experimental group received conventional treatment combined with TCM syndrome differentiation. We rated patients' quality of life using the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale. C-reactive protein levels in both groups before and after treatment were detected by ELISA. Furthermore, we detected the expression levels of IL-6 mRNA and TGF-β mRNA in serum before and after treatment by RT-PCR.The analysis was performed with SPSS19.0 software. The normal distribution measurement data was expressed by Mean±SD, and the t-test was used for statistical analysis. Non-normal distribution measurement data were expressed as median(M) and interquartile range (P₂₅, P₇₅), and non-parametric test was used for statistical analysis. Results: Compared with the control group, the readmission rate in the experimental group decreased within 3 months; The SF-36 quality of life score results of the two groups showed a statistically significant difference in BP, VT and RE (P<0.05);The levelofCRPdecreasedsignificantlyafter treatment in bothgroups,and thedifferencewasstatistically significant (P<0.05).Comparedwith thecontrolgroup, the levelsofIL-6mRNAandTGF-β1mRNA alsodecreased (P<0.05). Conclusion TCM syndromedifferentiation and treatmentofpneumoconiosis can effectively improve the patient's condition and life quality. We predict that it may inhibit the progression of pulmonary fibrosis in pneumoconiosis.

Objective:To investigate the current status of current status of patient activation and discharge readiness in patients with degenerated lumbar disorders after surgery and to analyze their correlation.Methods:By the convenient sampling method, a total of 183 patients with degenerated lumbar disorders after surgery who were treated in Third Department of Orthopedics in Guangdong Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhuhai Hospital from January 2018 to December 2018 were selected. Patient Activation Measure (PAM) and Readiness for Hospital Discharge Scale (RHDS) were used to investigate them, and Pearson correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis were used to analyze the relationship between them.Results:The standardized PAM scores of 183 patients were (53.06±16.14) . Of which, 86 patients (47.0%) scored less than or equal to 47, 37 patients (20.2%) scored 47.1 to 55.1, 48 patients (26.2%) scored 55.2 to 67.0, 12 patients (6.6%) scored more than or equal to 67.1. The RHDS score of 183 patients was (92.10±10.43) and the standardized score was (7.68±1.87) . PAM scores in all dimensions were positively correlated with RHDS scores in all dimensions ( r=0.203-0.588, P<0.05) . Moreover, self-consciousness of disease management, knowledge of disease, postoperative prevention ability and belief in adhering to healthy life were all independent influencing factors of discharge readiness ( P<0.05) , which could explain 32.9% of variances. Conclusions:The patient activation and discharge readiness of patients with degenerated lumbar disorders after surgery still need to be improved, and good patient activation helps improve discharge readiness. Clinical medical staff should focus on cultivating patient activation so as to improve their self-management ability before discharge.

Objective:To study the effects of breastfeeding within 2 weeks after birth on late-onset sepsis in very low birth weight infants (VLBWI).Methods:From July 2018 to June 2019, clinical data of VLBWI (birth weight <1 500 g) born in our hospital were retrospectively reviewed. According to the proportion of breastfeeding volume in total feeding volume within 2 weeks after birth, the infants were assigned into high-proportion breastfeeding group (breastfeeding >50%), low-proportion breastfeeding group (breastfeeding ≤50%) and formula group. The incidences of late-onset sepsis among the three groups were compared using the chi-square test or Fisher's exact probability method. Logistic regression was used to analyze the effects of breastfeeding within 2 weeks after birth on late-onset sepsis.Results:The incidences of late sepsis in high-proportion breastfeeding group, low-proportion breastfeeding group and formula group were 0.4% (1/216), 8.1% (5/62) and 8.0% (2/25), respectively ( P<0.001). Logistic regression analysis showed that compared with the high-proportion breastfeeding group, the low-proportion breastfeeding group ( OR=17.844, 95% CI 2.005~158.775) and the formula group ( OR=23.261, 95% CI 1.916~282.350) had increased risks of late-onset sepsis. Conclusions:For VLBWI, high proportion breastfeeding (breastfeeding >50%) within 2 weeks after birth may reduce the risk of late-onset sepsis.

To explore the relationship between sleep duration and brachial-ankle pulse wave velocity(baPWV) in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM). A total of 1 755 patients with T2DM received standardized management of metabolic disease from March 1, 2018 to February 29, 2020 were included. All patients were classified into three groups according to the sleep duration: short(≤6 h), medium(>6 h to 8 h) and long(>8 h). Increased arterial stiffness was defined as baPWV≥1 600 cm/s. The prevalence of baPWV≥1 600 cm/s was 39.7%, 30.8% and 38.6% in short, medium and long sleep duration group, respectively( P<0.01). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that patients with long sleep duration( OR=1.317, P<0.05) but not short sleep duration( OR=1.169, P>0.05) had a higher risk for baPWV≥1 600 cm/s compared with the reference group with medium sleep duration. Stratified analyses by sex showed that the OR were 1.735( P<0.05) among female and 1.131( P>0.05) among male respectively for baPWV≥1 600 cm/s in long sleep duration group when compared with medium sleep duration group. Sleep duration>8 h was found to be associated with elevated baPWV in patients with T2DM. There were gender differences in the correlation between long sleep duration and baPWV.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the changes in brain regional homogeneity in first-onset major depressive disorders (MDDs) using resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).

METHODSEighteen patients with first-onset MDDs and twenty gender- and age-matched healthy controls underwent resting-state fMRI scans to compare the regional homogeneities of the brain regions.

RESULTSCompared with the normal controls, the patients with MDDs showed significantly decreased regional homogeneity in the left posterior cingulated gyrus, bilateral inferior temporal gyrus, bilateral superior temporal gyrus, left inferior frontal gyrus, left hippocampa gyrus, left posterior central gyrus, left angular gyrus, right amygdala, right orbital frontal gyrus, right supplementary motor area, and right cerebellar lobe.

CONCLUSIONPatients with first-onset MDDs have dysfunctions in the brain regions closed related with cognition and emotional control.
