Objective:To observe the clinical effect of regulating Conception Vessel and unblocking Governor Vessel by acupuncture combined with tuina for cerebral infarction. Methods:A total of 61 eligible cases with cerebral infarction were treated with regulating Conception Vessel and unblocking Governor Vessel by acupuncture combined with tuina, once a day, 12 d for a course. There was a 3-day interval between two courses. These cases were treated for 3 courses. Before treatment, the infarction severity was graded using neurological deficit score. The score changes and correlation between infarction severity and therapeutic efficacy were evaluated after 1, 2 and 3 courses of treatment. Results:Before treatment, the neurological deficit score was (18.65±3.28), versus (13.63±3.91), (9.53±3.22) and (5.57±3.97) respectively after 1, 2 and 3 courses of treatment. When the third course was completed, 4 cases obtained almost full recovery, 33 cases obtained marked effect, 18 cases obtained improvement and 6 cases had no effect. The total effective rate was 90.2%. Conclusion:Regulating Conception Vessel and unblocking Governor Vessel by acupuncture combined with tuina can substantially improve limb function in patients with hemiplegia due to cerebral infarction.

Objective To investigate the apoptosis effect of ischemic postconditioning on levels of IL-6 and ATP during renal ischemia/reperfusion injury in obstructive jaundice rats. Methods One hundred SD rats were randomly divided into 5 groups: the Sham control group , I/R group , OJ-Sham group , OJ-I/R group , and OJ- I/R+IPO group, with 20 cases in each group. According to the time after ischemia/reperfusion, each group was divided into four subgroups (n = 5), with reperfusion time of 0 h, 1 h, 3 h, 6 h, respectively. After 1 week of biliary obstruction , rats were sacrificed at 0 h , 1 h , 3 h , 6 h post-I/R , and the left kidneys were taken, renal tissue was used for determination of the levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6) and adenosinetriphosphate (ATP). Results Compared with the OJ-I/R group, the serum level of BUN,Cr decreased significantly in the OJ-I/R-IPO group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Ischemic postconditioning can reduce the injury of kidney ischemia-reperfusion in OJ rais , which may be related to the reduced inflammation reaction and the energy metabolism in the kidney.

Objective　To explore the application of time series models based on meteorological factors in the population density of Aedes albopictus in Hainan Province, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control of dengue fever in Hainan Province. Methods　The density of Aedes albopictus in different habitats in 18 cities and counties of Hainan Province from 2017 to 2022 was monitored monthly using the double-mosquito net trapping index and the Breteau index. Mann-Kendall trend test was used to analyze the temporal trends of the two density indices; Spearman's correlation analysis was employed to assess the correlation strength between each meteorological factor and the two indexes, eliminating unrelated variables, and further selecting the final variables through the full-subset regression method. Three time-series models were constructed for the two density indices, with root mean square error (RMSE), mean absolute error (MAE), and other accuracy metrics used to determine the optimal model; predictions for the density indices for 2023-2024 were made. All statistical analyses were performed in R (4.3.1). Results　The net trapping and Breteau indices showed an overall decrease over the years (Z-values of Mann-Kendall trend test were -6.15 and -4.03, respectively, and P<0.05). The meteorological factor most strongly associated with the trap index was the monthly average minimum temperature; monthly mean minimum temperature and monthly mean relative humidity were strongly correlated with the Breteau index. Based on various evaluation indicators, the multivariate time series model demonstrated the highest accuracy. The study predicts one to two peaks in both the trap index and Breteau Index for the years 2023 and 2024, with peak periods occurring between June to September and May to September, respectively. The predicted value for 2023 aligns with the measured value, demonstrating outstanding predictive accuracy. Conclusions　This study has introduced meteorological factors into the seasonal time series model, allowing for more accurate predictions of the density of Aedes albopictus in Hainan Province from 2023 to 2024, providing a model framework for the prevention and control of dengue fever in Hainan Province.

Purpose: Four and a half LIM protein 1 (FHL1) is involved in breast cancer (BC) development, but the regulatory mechanism involved remain unclear. In the present study, we examined the role of FHL1 in BC development. Methods: The expression of FHL1, miR-183-5p, and miR-96-5p in BC tissues was analyzed using StarBase analysis. FHL1 expression in BC tissues, a normal human breast epithelial cell line, and BC cell lines was detected using quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). The relationship between FHL1 and miR-183-5p/miR-96-5p was analyzed via Pearson's rank correlation, TargetScan, and a dual-luciferase reporter assay. BT549 and MDA-MB-231 cells were transfected with either FHL1 and miR-183-5p mimics, or siFHL1 and a miR-183-5p inhibitor, respectively. The viability, colony number, migration, invasion, and tube length of BT549 and MDA-MB-231 cells were examined using cell counting kit-8, colony formation, wound-healing, Transwell, and tube formation assays, respectively. The levels of FHL1, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), p53, E-cadherin, N-cadherin, and vimentin were quantified using western blotting and qRT-PCR. Results: FHL1 expression was downregulated in BC tissues and cells, whereas miR-183-5p and miR-96-5p were upregulated in BC tissues (negative correlation with FHL1 expression).FHL1 overexpression inhibited the viability, colony number, migration, and invasion of BC cells and the expression of VEGF, N-cadherin, and vimentin, and increased the expression of FHL1, p53, and E-cadherin in BT549 cells. Furthermore, a miR-183-5p mimic reversed these effects of FHL1 overexpression, whereas FHL1 silencing caused opposite results to those observed in MDA-MB-231 cells; however, this was reversed by a miR-183-5p inhibitor. Conclusion Our study suggests that miR-183-5p promotes cell proliferation, metastasis, and angiogenesis by negatively regulating FHL1 in BC.

OBJECTIVE： To study the mechanism of couplet medicine of Tripterygium hypoglaucum-Spatholobus suberectus in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis （RA）. METHODS： The RA targets were retrieved and obtained by therapeutic target database （TTD）， DrugBank and DisGeNET databases， and the protein protein interaction （PPI） network was constructed to screen its key targets. Using oral bioavailability（OB）≥30％， drug like（DL）≥0.18 and drug half-life （HL） ≥4 h as index， active components were obtained from couplet medicine of T. hypoglaucum-S. suberectus by using TCM systematic pharmacological analysis platform （TCMSP） and TCM integrated database （TCMID）， and the targets were predicted. The active component-target network of couplet medicine of T. hypoglaucum-S. suberectus was constructed. Systems Dock Web Site online platform and Genomics platform were used to screen the active component and common targets of RA of couplet medicine of T. hypoglaucum-S. suberectus； KEGG signaling pathways of common targets were analyzed by using Cluego plug-in unit of Cytoscape 3.2.1 software. RESULTS： Totally 1 956 RA targets were retrieved， involving 11 key targets [such as IL-6， TNF， VEGFA]. The couplet medicine contained 30 active components （including luteolin， erythroxanthin， β-sitosterol and triptolide） and 229 targets. There were 37 common targets for couplet medicine of T. hypoglaucum-S. suberectus and RA （including MMP2， TNF， VEGFA）. KEGG signaling way involved cell apoptosis， IL-17 signaling pathway， Th17 cell differentiation pathway and TNF signaling pathway. CONCLUSIONS： The couplet medicine of T. hypoglaucum-S. suberectus may play a role in the treatment of RA by acting on cell apoptosis， IL-17 signaling pathway and other signaling pathways through MMP2， TNF， and VEGFA target. The results of this study can provide a reference for further study on the mechanism of the effects of couplet medicine of T. hypoglaucum-S. suberectus on RA.

In 2022， Hainan provincial government launched the project for the prevention and control of viral hepatitis with the goals of a hepatitis B screening rate of 90%， a diagnostic rate of 90%， and a treatment rate of 80% among people aged 18 years and above by the year 2025， and the main intervention measures include population-based prevention， case screening， antiviral therapy， and health management. As of December 31， 2024， a total of 6.875 million individuals in the general population had been screened for hepatitis B， with a screening rate of 95.6%. A total of 184 710 individuals with positive HBsAg were identified， among whom 156 772 were diagnosed through serological reexamination， resulting in a diagnostic rate of 84.9%. A total of 50 742 patients with chronic hepatitis B were identified， among whom 42 921 had hepatitis B-specific health records established for health management， with a file establishment rate of 84.6%. A total of 31 553 individuals received antiviral therapy， with a treatment rate of 62.2%. A total of 2.503 million individuals at a high risk of hepatitis C were screened， among whom 4 870 tested positive for HCV antibody and 3 858 underwent HCV RNA testing， resulting in a diagnostic rate of 79.2%， and 1 824 individuals with positive HCV RNA were identified， among whom 1 194 received antiviral therapy， with a treatment rate of 65.5%. In addition， 159 301 individuals with negative HBsAg and anti-HBs and an age of 20 — 40 years were inoculated with hepatitis B vaccine free of charge. Through the implementation of the project for the prevention and control of viral hepatitis， a large number of hepatitis patients have been identified， treated， and managed in the province within a short period of time， which significantly accelerates the efforts to eliminate the crisis of viral hepatitis.
