0.05)in sex. Most patients had no basic diseases.5% patients were above 65 yrs old.98.75% patients had 0~2 CURB-65 scores.Consistent fever and cough were the main symptoms in these patients. There were multiple changes in CT images.Except ground glass attenuation, other signs such as consolidation, global or tumor-like shadow, scattered multiple patchy infiltration shadow, pleural effusions and enlarged mediastinal lymph nodes or migrated lesions were commonly seen.Macrolides antibiotics had poor effect. Conclusion New changing tendency of adult mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia has occurred, clinical symptoms are severer with multiple changes in radioactivity and the treatment has become more difficult.

ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of timing of definitive operation on prognosis of patients with iatrogenic bile duct injury (IBDI). MethodsThe clinical data of 38 patients with IBDI were retrospectively analyzed. Of the 38 patients, the injury happened in 7 patients in our hospital while 31 patients were transferred in from other hospitals. We analyzed the previous operative records, the clinical manifestations of the patients, the radiological images and our operative findings in the definitive operations. According to the timing of the definitive operation, the patients were divided into the intraoperative repair group (n=26), the early repair group (n=15) and the delayed repair group (n=17). ResultsPatients in the intraoperative repair group had the best short-and long-term results, the shortest length of hospital stay and the lowest total cost. The early repair group, though having worse Results than the intraoperative repair group was still better than the delayed repair group. However, early detection of injuries and the ability to carry out timely corrective procedures depended on the availability of surgical expertise in the hospital. ConclusionsThe timing of definitive operation to provide corrective surgery to IBDI was a vitally important factor which affected prognosis. It is best to repair the injury within the same operation. The repair should be carried out by a doctor with ample experience in bile duct surgery.

Objective To study the different therapeutic proportion of the patient populations undergone coronary angiography (CAG) in the era of development in multislice spiral computed tomography(MSCT).Methods Two hundred and fifty four consecutive patients(mean age 59.24±10.65),who underwent CAG at Daxing Hospital from February 2007 through October 2007,were enrolled,160 patients were male and 94 were female.By evaluating from the coronary angiogram, the patients were not diagnosed to have coronary heart disease(CHD) with less than 50% diameter stenosis of coronary artery;the patients to have CHD with more than or equal to 50% stenosis of coronary artery;the patients were performed the procedure of percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) with more than or equal to 70% stenosis;the patients were proposed to have coronary aortic bypass graft(CABG) surgery with left main coronary artery lesions or diffuse triple coronary artery lesions. Results In the 254 consecutive patients,59 patients(23.2%) had not been diagnosed to have CHD;195(76.8%)to have CHD,of these patients with CHD,49 patients(19.3%)were not indicated for PCI (including the patients receiving follow-up coronary angiography after stenting),81(31.9%)had been performed the procedure of stent implantation,57(22.4%)proposed to have CABG,8(3.1%)the procedure of PCI had not been successful,or had not been performed because of patients opposing to this therapy. Conclusion Multislice spiral computed tomography can be applied as a non-invasive screening tool to exclude the presence of CHD,to increase the positive proportion of the populations with CHD in all patients receiving coronary angiograhpy,to avoid the use of CAG in a subset of patients.

BACKGROUND:Acellular vascular scaffolds can mimic the microstructure and function of native blood vessels, but some extracellular matrix loss occurs during their preparation, which affects their hemocompatibility. Therefore,it is necessary to modify them to improve their hemocompatibility. OBJECTIVE:To assess the hemocompatibility of acellular vascular scaffold prepared by Triton-x100/heparin sodium treatment. METHODS:The abdominal aorta was taken from SD rats and randomly divided into control and experimental groups. The control group was treated with Triton-x100 for 48 hours. The experimental group was treated with Triton-x100 for 48 hours and then treated with heparin sodium. The morphology and hydrophilicity of the two groups of acellular vascular scaffolds were detected. The hemocompatibility of the two groups of acellular vascular scaffold was evaluated by recalcification coagulation time test, platelet adhesion test, dynamic coagulation time test, hemolysis test, and complement activation test. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)Scanning electron microscopy showed that the surface of the two groups of vascular scaffolds was relatively intact, and a large number of fiber filaments appeared on the surface of the scaffolds after decellularity treatment, and the surface microstructure changed significantly. The water contact angle of the two groups of vascular scaffolds was smaller than that of natural vessels(P<0.000 1).There was no significant difference in water contact angle between the two groups(P>0.05).(2)The coagulation time of vascular scaffold was longer in the experimental group than in the control group(P<0.05).The number of platelets attached to the scaffold membrane was less in the experimental group than that in the control group(P<0.000 1).The coagulation index was greater in the experimental group than that in the control group(P<0.01),and the complement level was lower in the experimental group than that in the control group(P<0.001).The hemolysis rate of the two groups was lower than 5%of the national standard.(3)To conclude, acellular scaffold treated with Triton-x100/heparin sodium has excellent hemocompatibility.

Inducing durable and effective immunity against severe acute respiratory syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) via vaccination is essential to combat the current pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). It has been noticed that the strength of anti-COVID-19 vaccination-induced immunity fades over time, which calls for an additional vaccination regime, as known as booster immunization, to restore immunity among previously vaccinated populations. Here we report a pilot open-label trial of a third dose of BBIBP-CorV, an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine (Vero cell), on 136 participants aged between 18 to 63 years. Safety and immunogenicity in terms of neutralizing antibody titers and cytokine/chemokine responses were analyzed as the main endpoint until day 28. While systemic reactogenicity was either absent or mild, SARS-CoV-2-specific neutralizing antibody titers rapidly arose in all participants within 4 weeks, surpassing the peak antibody titers elicited by the initial two-dose immunization regime. Broad increases of cellular immunity-associated cytokines and chemokines were also detected in the majority of participants after the third vaccination. Furthermore, in an exploratory study, a newly developed recombinant protein vaccine, NVSI-06-08 (CHO Cells), was found to be safe and even more effective than BBIBP-CorV in eliciting humoral immune responses in BBIBP-CorV-primed individuals. Together, these results indicate that a third immunization schedule with either homologous or heterologous vaccine showed favorable safety profiles and restored potent SARS-CoV-2-specific immunity, providing support for further trials of booster vaccination in larger populations.
