Objective To observe the effect of Tongguanluo capsule in treating oviduct obstructive infertility and analyze the potential mechanism. Methods 106 patients with oviduct obstructive infertility were randomly divided into the observing group and the control group, 53 cases of each group. The observing group was treated by Tongguanluo capsule and the control group was treated by Huoxue Huayu Capsule. The effects were compared after 4 weeks. Objective To investigate the association between vascular risk factors and the location of intracranial artery stenosis (anterior versus posterior).Methods Magnetic resonance angiography(MRA) were examined in 374 acute stroke patients.It was divided into two groups (anterior and posterior intracranial artery stenosis group).Analyzed possible risk factors.Results Univariate analysis showed there were differences between anterior and posterior intracranial artery stenosis in systolic blood pressure,history of smoking,drinking and stroke status,and national institutes of health stroke scale (NIHSS) score at discharge,short-term prognosis,serum creatinine,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) (P ＜ 0.05).In multivariate logistic regression analysis,high blood sugar (OR =1.135,95％ CI:1.003-1.284),history of stroke(OR =1.133,95％ CI:1.007-1.276),good short-term prognosis (OR =5.987,95％ CI:1.441-24.873) were preferentially related to anterior intracranial artery stenosis,whereas history of smoking (OR =0.003,95 ％ CI:0.000-0.376),high serum creatinine values (OR =0.509,95 ％ CI:0.328-0.790),high triglyceride values (OR =0.054,95％ CI:0.004-0.645) and high LDL-C values (OR =0.096,95％ CI:0.015-0.608) were preferentially related to posterior intracranial artery stenosis.Conclusion Vascular risk factors appeared to exert different effects of risk for anterior and posterior intracranial artery stenosis.

To explain the relation between diabetic vasculopathy and'Blood blocking collaterals and phlegm turbidness not being removed'proposed by Mr.ZHU Kan-yu.It is believed that the turbidness is the basic pathological product during the development of diabetes.Blood glucose remains high,which reflects the disorders of transportation and distribution of turbid yin and qi in the body.That is to say that the thick coreal nutrients in the vessels are unable to be distributed and absorbed but stay in the vessels as turbid pathologic factors.Blood stasis and phlegm is the further result of turbid pathologic factors.The TCM explanation of diabetic vasculopathy is that phlegm,turbidness,blood stasis block the meridians and collaterals.Those visible pathological factors deposit in vessels and cause narrow vessels and thick walls.Meanwhile the deposit stimulates,spreads,erodes and burns the walls and finally ruins the walls.

[Abstact] Purpose To investigate the value of apparent diffusion coefficient (ADC) of diffusion weighted imaging (DW1) in the evaluation of the efficacy of treatment of nonsmall cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI).Materials and Methods Nineteen patients with advanced NSCLC who treated with TKIs from May 2014 to December 2015 were recruited prospectively.All patients underwent CT and MRI scans three times before targeted therapy,after 1 week and 4 weeks of treatment.The tumor maximal diameter and mean ADC value at different time points were compared.The correlations between mean ADC value and tumor maximal diameter and maximum diameter change rate at different time points were analyzed.Bland-Altman analysis was performed to confirm the reproducibility of measurements.Results The ADC value after 1 week of treatment was significantly increased compared with that before treatment (t=-6.329,P＜0.05),but the change of tumor maximal diameter was not significant (P＞0.05).The ADC value was significantly increased after 4 weeks of treatment compared with that before treatment (t=-4.878,P＜0.05),and the change of tumor maximal diameter was also significant (t=7.054,P＜0.05).The negative correlation was detected between the ADC before treatment and the maximal diameter change ratio after 4 weeks of treatment (r2=-0.474,P＜0.05).In the group of responders,there was significant difference between the ADC value before treatment and 1 week after treatment (P＜0.05).There was significant difference in ADC value between the groups of responders and non-responders after 4 weeks of treatment (P＜0.05).The Bland-Altman analysis showed good reproducibility among the operators.Conclusion The ADC value after 1 week of targeted therapy is more sensitive to the change of tumor than the maximal diameter,and the ADC value before treatment has a certain value in predicting the maximum diameters of the target after 4 weeks of targeted therapy with repeatability.

ObjectiveTo explore regulation effect of miR-340-5p on regulating bone morphogenetic protein 4(BMP4) expression and the differentiation of rat's NSCs.MethodsNSCs of rats were divided randomly into three groups: normal group (Mock),group with nonsense oligonucleotide (Anti-Con) and group with antisense oligonucleotide of miR-340-5p (Anti-miR-340-5p).The qRT-PCR was used to detect the relative expression of miR-340-5p.The expression of NF200 and MAP-2 was detected by immunocytochemical staining and immunofluorescence,respectively.Western blot was used to detect the expression of BMP4 protein.ResultsThe relative levels of miR-340-5p expression were significantly decreased in Anti-miR-340-5p group (0.14±0.01) compared with that of Mock group(1.01±0.17) and Anti-Con group(1.07±0.13) (P<0.01).Immunocytochemical staining indicated that NF200 was positive in cells of Anti-miR-340-5p group.The proportion of MAP2 positive cells was increased in Anti-miR-340-5p group compared with other groups (P<0.05).Western blot showed the increased expression of BMP4 protein in Anti-miR-340-5p group (0.84±0.09) compared with Mock group(0.53±0.04) and Anti-Con group (0.63±0.09) (P<0.05).ConclusionThe miR-340-5p may exert a potential function in regulating differentiation of NSCs into neurons through a negative regulation of BMP4.

PurposeTo study the MRI and pathological features of ovarian endometrioid adenocarcinoma (OEC) in order to evaluate the value of MRI in diagnosing OEC. Materials and Methods The MRI imaging features of 8 patients confirmed by surgery and pathology were analyzed retrospectively and were compared with the results of surgery and pathology. The MRI outcome and the related histological findings were further analyzed.Results Six out of the eight patients had unilateral tumor, 3 tumors in the left and the other 3 in the right; 2 patients had masses in the both ovaries. The total number of masses was ten.The diameters of the tumors ranged from 3.5 to 16.5 cm, with the average size of (10.5±4.1) cm. The border of 2 tumors was partially fuzzy and that of the other 6 was clear. The MRI scans showed that 8 tumors were cystic-solid and the other 2 were solid with heterogeneous signals. The solid components mainly presented slightly short T1 signals and long T2 signals; the cystic ones revealed long T1 and T2 signals. The enhanced scanning showed that the solid components of 8 tumors were patchy and obviously enhanced and the other 2 had mild or moderate enhancement. The cystic components were not hyper-intense. The enhanced MRI scans of two cases of primary endometrial carcinoma with metastases to the ovaries showed thickened endometrium and mild hyper-intense.Conclusion MRI can reveal the pathological features of OEC and clearly presents the forms, components and the relationship with its surroundings of tumors. Therefore, MRI is of great importance to the clinical diagnosis of OEC.

Objective To explore the clinical characteristics in patients with histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis (also called Kikuchi-Fujimoto' s disease,KD) and meningitis.Methods We reported a patient who developed meningitis preceding the other presentations of KD with abnormal serum autoimmune phenomena,and systematically reviewed 19 cases of KD with meningitis that had been reported worldwide,and analyzed the clinical parameters and treatments.Results The present case was a 25-year-old female subject with serum antinuclear factor antibody and anti-ribonucleoprotein antibody positive.The patient recovered after treatment with steroid and no recurrence was appeared.Among the 19 patients,the average age was 20.2 years,sex ratio was 10:9 (10 female:9 male),7 patients had abnormal serum autoimmune phenomena,7 patients'initial symptom was meningitis and 5 patients were administrated with steroid.Conclusions The onset age in KD with meningitis is earlier than the common KD,and sex ratio in KD with meningitis is close to 1∶ 1.A definitive diagnosis of the disease is determined by a lymph node biopsy at present.

Objective To discuss the clinical and radiological features of congenital absence of the internal carotid artery.Methods Four patients of the congenital absence of the internal carotid artery were reported and the clinical and radiological features were summarized by a review of the literature.Results Four patients were shown subarachnoid hemorrhage ( SAH) , transient ischemic attack ( TIA) , epilepsy and headache, respectively.All of the four patients presented the absence of unilateral or bilateral carotid arteries in cervical computed tomography angiography ( CTA) or magnetic resonance angiography ( MRA).Carotid canal was absent in all the patients in CT base of skull and multiple intracranial vascular dysplasia was shown in all the patients.Basilar or posterior communicating artery was presented as dolichoectasia in 3 patients.There were 2 patients who suffered aneurysm.Conclusions The onset of the congenital absence of the internal carotid artery can be presented in any age.Sudden severe headache as initial symptom caused by SAH is showed more common in children and adolescents.TIA is commonly seen in the elderly.CT shows carotid canals are absent in the base of skull.Unilateral or bilateral carotid arteries are shown absent in CTA or MRA.Multiple intracranial vascular dysplasia is shown in CTA or MRA.Carotid artery CTA has been considered as the optimal imaging method of showing the congenital absence of the internal carotid artery.

Objective To study the organ damage in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and its significance in prognosis. Methods The SLE damage index (SDI) was used to evaluate 121 female and 15 male patients. Results Among these patients, the lowest and the highest SDI was 0 or 9, separately (average: 1.79 ? 2.22). Most damaged organ was renal (39.0%), followed by muscle/skeletal system (19.9%) and cardiovascular system (18.4%). There was statistically significant difference of SDI in different groups of prognosis, life condition or disease duration ( 10 years). However, there was no significant difference of SDI in different sex groups. The correlation analysis revealed that the age at onset or diagnosis was not related to SDI. Conclusion SDI is effective in evaluating the organ damage in predicting prognosis of SLE patients.

Aim To establish a cell model targeting on GLP-1 R,and evaluate its function by the cAMP assay,for screening the new class of GLP-1 analogues as anti-diabetic candidates. Methods An eukaryotic expression vector pEGFP-GLP-1 R was constructed and transfected into HEK293A cells.After selecting with G41 8,a cell line stably expressing GLP-1 R-GFP was estab-lished.The expression and the cellular distribution of GLP-1 R-GFP fusion protein were investigated by Western blot and fluo-rescence microscopy.Then,the activity of GLP-1 analogue Lira-glutide was evaluated by monitoring the content of cAMP via HTRF using this cell model.Results GLP-1 R-GFP-293A cell line was successfully established.GLP-1 R-GFP fusion proteins were mainly distributed in the cell membrane.The dose-respon-sive relationship experiments revealed that cAMP could be effec-tively stimulated by Liraglutide using this cell model.Conclu-sion This cell model could be used to detect the bioactivity of GLP-1 analogues in vitro,which lays a foundation for the screen-ing of GLP-1 analogues and small GLP-1 R agonists.
