Objective To learn current status of elderly depressive disorders in Yuetan community residents to provide evidence for policy making.MethodsCluster sampling method was used to enroll 352 elderly individuals from Yuetan Community for Geriatric Depression Scale(GDS)and self-designed questionnaire. Results The morbidity of elderly depressive disorder was 23.86%(84/352).The awareness rate of risk factor of elderly depressive disorder Was 4.83%to 42.90%.Conclusion The morbidity of elderly depressive disorder of Yuetan Community is higher, and related healthcare education should be strengthened.
2.Etiology and therapy of radiculopathy
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2005;9(9):249-251
OBJECTIVE: Radiculopathy is a common disease in orthopedics, clinically manifested chiefly by pains in the regions innervated by the spinal nerve involved. Since the etiology is complex, either surgical or non-surgical interventions can be adopted accordingly. This study reviewed recent relevant reports to explore the etiology and therapy of radiculopathy.DATA SOURCES: A computer-based search were carried out in Medline database for related articles published between January 1999 and August 2004 using the key words of "nervi spinales, pain, therapy" with language of the text limited to English. A computer-based search of Chinese periodical database,Wanfang Digital Database was also conducted for articles published in Chinese between January 1999 and December 2004 with the same searching words in Chinese language.STUDY SELECTION: Original studies of the etiology, pathogenesis and treatment of radiculopathy.DATA EXTRACTION: Totally 22 articles related to the etiology, pathogenesis, surgical treatment, minimal invasive and interventional treatment,as well as non-surgical treatment for radiculopathy were collected.DATA SYNTHESIS: Cervical, lumbar and back pains are the most common clinical manifestations of radiculopathy, induced by mechanical compression and chemical stimulation due to different etiologies. In clinical practice, surgeries or alternative non-surgical treatment can be adopted according to the etiology, the choice of which depends on,therefore,a thorough knowledge of the etiology and therapy of radiculopathy.CONCLUSION: The key for achieving favorable outcome of the patients with radiculopathy lies in correct recognition of the etiology and proper therapeutic decisions.
3.The effects of therapeutic equipment that aim to improve cerebrovascular function combined with automatic standing bed on balance disorder following cerebellar infarction
Tianjin Medical Journal 2015;(8):902-904
Objective To investigate the effects of therapeutic equipment that aimed to improve cerebrovascular func?tion combined with electric standing bed on balance disorder following cerebellar infarction. Methods Fifty patients with balance disorder after cerebellar infarction were randomized into study and control groups. Agreed routine rehabilitation ther?apy including automatic standing bed and medication were given to both groups. In addition, therapeutic equipment that aim to improve cerebrovascular function were delivered to patients in study group. The effects were assessed using Fugl-Meyer balance function scale and Barthel index (BI) before and after 4 weeks of treatment. Results Study group and control group did not present difference between FM-B grade and BI before treatment (P>0.05). Both FM-B and BI were improved after treatment (P<0.05), but it improved more in study group than in control group (P<0.05). The total efficiency in treatment group is higher than that in control group (P<0.05). In the process of treatment, no obvious adverse reactions was observed. Conclusion The therapeutic equitment that aim to improve cerebrovascular function combined with automatic standing bed can improve balance disorder and daily activity after cerebellar infarction.

5.Application of point-of-care ultrasound in NICU
International Journal of Pediatrics 2021;48(1):31-34
Point-of-care ultrasound(POCUS)was dominated by emergency or intensive medical doctors.POCUS was a technology which was used to explain the pathophysiological changes, diagnosis and treatments.POCUS was widely used in the evaluation of hemodynamics, lung diseases and the airway managements. In pediatric field, especially the critically newborn treatment, POCUS has brightly prospects. The application progresses of POCUS in neonatal intensive care unit were reviewed in this article.

International Journal of Cerebrovascular Diseases 2016;24(6):550-554
Central poststroke pain (CPSP) is a neuropathic pain syndrome that can occur after stroke. This syndrome is characterized by pain and sensory abnormalities in the body parts that correspond to the stroke lesion.CPSP occurs ia 1%-12% of stroke patients.A definite diagnosis of CPSP is difficult, mainly because of the variable clinical picture, the frequent concurrence of several pain types, and the lack of clear diagnostic criteria for CPSP.Management of the CPSP is challenging. This article reviews the diagnostic evaluation and treatment of CPSP.

China Medical Equipment 2015;(6):112-115
Objective:To detect the levels of TGF-β1 in hypertensive renal function impairment patients and its clinical value. Methods: Primary hypertension patients with no target organs damage were enrolled in control group, primary hypertension patients with renal function stageⅠand stageⅡwere enrolled in renal function stageⅠgroup and stageⅡgroup. Serum TGF-β1 levels and renal function indices of three groups were compared. Results:There were no significant difference of serum creatinine and blood urea nitrogen of three groups(F=23.523, P<0.05);endogenous creatinine clearance rate of renal functionⅠandⅡgroups were lower than that of control group, TGF-β1 levels of renal functionⅠandⅡ groups were higher than of control group; TGF-β1 levels were negatively correlated with creatinine clearance rate. Conclusion:TGF-β1 level is an ideal index to reflect renal function for its level significantly changes in renal damage stageⅠ,Ⅱand has good correlation with Cin.

Objective To explore the clinical effect and safety of Wenxin granule combined with metoprolol on arrhythmia in elderly patients with coronary heart disease (CHD).Methods 186 elderly CHD patients with arrhythmia were divided into 3 groups according to therapy:group A (n=62,treated with Wenxin granule),group B (n=60,treated with metoprolol) and group C (n=64,treated with Wenxin granule plus metoprolol).Clinical effect and adverse effect were retrospectively analyzed. Results The excellence rate and total efficiency rate were higher in group C than group A andB [53.1% (34 cases) vs.32.3% (20 cases),30.0% (18 cases); 93.8% (60 cases) vs.40.3% (25 cases),40.0% (24 cases) ; respectively, all P<0.05].There were no significant differences in the incidence of adverse effect in the 3 groups [4.8% (3/62),8.3% (5/60) vs.8.3% (5/64),all P >0.05].Conclusions Wenxin granule combined with metoprolol improves clinical effect, decreases premature beat and has a better safety for elderly CHD patients with arrhythmia, which is worthy of clinical application.

Objective To investigate the effect of local mild hypothermia on stress hormones in patients with acute cerebral hemorrhage. Methods 78 patients were randomly divided into two groups, mild hypothermia group (38 cases) and routine group (40 cases). Conventional treatment was used in both groups, and local mild hypothermia therapy was applied in mild hypothermia group. The concentrations of corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH), adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH), corticosteroid (CS) and aldosterone (ALD) in plasma pretherapy and at 3rd, 7th day after treatment were measured. The scores of clinical neurological deficit prior and at 3rd week after treatment were observed. Results The levels of plasma ACTH, CRH, CS and ALD prior treatment both in mild hypothermia and routine group were higher than those in healthy control group (all P
