Objective To explore the mechanism of glucocorticoids in the treatment of acute lung injury(ALI) by studying the expression changes of aquaporin-1 (AQP-1) in the lung.Methods SpragueDawley rats were randomly divided into 3 groups,which were ALI group injected by lipopolysaccharide (LPS group),therapy group treated by methylprednisolone (Mp) after LPS injection (Mp group) and control group injected by normal saline.PaO2 and wet/dry mass ratio were assayed at 6 hours after the injection.Changes of AQP-1 expression in the lungs were analyzed by immunohistochemistry and reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR),and pathological examination was performed in each group.Results RT-PCR results showed that the expression of AQP-1 in LPS group was lower than that in control group (0.28 ± 0.05 vs 0.50 ± 0.24,P ＜ 0.05),while the expression of AQP-1 in Mp group was higher than that in LPS group (0.47 ±0.16 vs 0.28 ±0.05,P ＜0.05).The immunohistochemistry results were consistent to the RT-PCR results,meanwhile glucocorticoids therapy could improve the blood oxygen level (P ＜ 0.01),reduce the wet/dry mass ratio (P ＜ 0.05) and relieve the lung injury.Conclusion Glucocorticoids may have beneficial effects on ALI by affecting the expression of AQP-1 in the lungs of rats.

Objective To discuss the short-term clinical curative effect of laparoscopic colorectal cancer radical resection for rectal cancer. Methods Clinical data of 50 patients with rectal cancer underwent radical resection from November 2015 to November 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 27 cases underwent laparoscopic radical resection (Laparoscopy group), the other 23 cases underwent radical resection (Laparotomy group). Then observe and record the operation time, tumor diameter, specimen length, number of lymph node cleaning, time of ambulation, postoperative anal exhaust time, postoperative defecation time, postoperative complications and postoperative eating time of the two groups. Results The tumor diameter, length of specimens and number of lymph node dissection in laparoscopic group were (3.8 ± 1.4) cm, (18.5 ± 2.1) cm and (7.2 ± 3.1), while in Laparotomy group were (3.9 ± 1.4) cm, (18.6 ± 2.3) cm, and (7.7 ± 3.4), the difference has no statistical significance (P > 0.05). The intraoperative blood loss, operation time, ambulation time, postoperative anal exhaust time, postoperative defecation time, postoperative eating liquid diet time, postoperative hospitalization time in laparoscopic group were (105.3 ± 23.8) ml, (140.2 ± 22.3) min, (4.0 ± 1.2) d, (6.0 ± 1.5) d, (3.0 ± 1.0) d, (3.5 ± 0.5) d and (4.0 ± 1.0) d, while in Laparotomy group were (210.4 ± 21.3) ml, (118.9 ± 20.7) min, (4.5 ± 1.1) d, (7.8 ± 1.2) d, (7.0 ± 1.6) d, (8.1 ± 2.0) d and (10.0 ± 3.2) d, there was significant difference between the two groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion Laparoscopic surgery for rectal cancer is safe and effective. It can achieve radical tumor resection, and intraoperative less bleeding, faster postoperative recovery, shorter hospitalization time.

2,4,6-Trinitrotoluene (TNT) and its by-products dinitrotoluene (DNT) pose a significant threat to human health and other living organisms.However, the conventional analytical methods involved in bulky and expensive instruments are complicated and time-consuming, impeding quick and on-line determination.In this work, a facile yet effective strategy of utilizing UV-vis spectroscopy coupled with partial least squares (PLS) was proposed, through which TNT and two isomers of DNT (2,4-DNT and 2,6-DNT) in nature water could be rapidly and simultaneously determined without any pre-separation.Variable combination population analysis (VCPA) was utilized to select important feather variables and significantly improved the predictive performance of the PLS model.The calibration set contained 25 samples constructed by orthogonal array design (OAD).The predictive ability of the models was validated by an independent prediction set including 15 samples, achieving up to 0.99 of the determination coefficients (R2) for each of the analytes.The optimized models were successfully applied to determine the 3 ingredients in 8 environmental samples involving in tap, lake and two kinds of river water with the recovery values of great than 97%.Finally, the proposed method was further validated by high performance liquid chromatography method.UV-vis spectroscopy coupled with chemometrics may be used as simple and effective strategy with high potential in environmental monitoring.

Objective To investigate the effects of simethicone on the quality of video capsule endoscopy (VCE) examination.Methods A prospective study was performed in 90 patients received VCE examination from February 2010 to October 2014.The randomized table was set according to different dosage of simethicone the patients received,by which patients were divided into three groups.Group 1 (35 cases) received 15 mL simethicone,group 2 (30 cases) received 30 mL simethicone and control group (25 cases) received no simethicone.The small intestinal visualization quality of VCE was scored by segments.Segment A was proximal small intestine (one hour after VCE passing pylorus).Segment B was distal small intestine (one hour before VCE passing ileocecal valve).Segment A and B were scored according to the air bubbles and degree of cleanliness.Gastric transit time,small bowel transit time and VCE completion rate were recorded.Student's t test,Mann Whitney rank sum test and chi square test were performed for statistical analysis.Results The average scores of segment A of group 1,group 2 and control group were 0.58,0.33 and 1.67,respectively,and the average socres of segment B were 0.25,0.00 and 1.17,respectively.The lesion detection rates of group 1,group 2 and control group were 68.6％ (24/35),80.0％ (24/30) and 52.0％ (13/25),respectively,and the differences was statistically significant (x2 =8.238,P=0.016).The detection rate of group 2 was significantly higher than those of group 1 and control group (x2 =7.354 and 9.349,P=0.034 and 0.005).The detection rates of small intestinal erosion of group 1,group 2 and control group were 22.9％ (8/35),70.0％ (21/30) and 32.0％ (8/25),respectively,and the differences was statistically significant (x2=8.714,P=0.013).The detection rate of group 2 was significantly higher than those of group 1 and control group (x2 =10.600 and 7.380,P=0.005 and 0.025).There was no statistically significant difference in the detection rates of ulcer,vascular malformation and protrusion among the three groups (all P＞0.05).The detection rates of lesions＜0.5 cm of group 1,group 2 and control group were 37.1％ (13/35),66.7％ (20/30) and 32.0％ (8/25),respectively,and the differences was statistically significant (x2 =8.242,P=0.016).The detection rate of group 2 was significantly higher than those of group 1 and control group (x2 =9.250 and 7.842,P =0.011 and 0.017).Conclusion Oral adminstration of 30 mL simethicone could obviously decrease air bubbles in small intestine,and increase lesion detection rate of VCE.

SUMMARY Behcet’sdisease(BD)isachronicvascularinflammatorydiseaseofunknowncauses.Itis called intestinal BD,when digestive tract is involved.To investigate small bowel feature of intestinal BD, we now report 5 intestinal BD cases undergone capsule endoscopy from December,2010 to April,2014 in Peking University People’s Hospital.General information,clinical feature and endoscopic feature were presented,and literatures were reviewed.There were 3 male and 2 female patients.Age range was from 23 to 55 years old (median age 40 years old).Disease course was from 3 days to 28 years (median course 9 years).4 patients were diagnosed as systemic BD,and the rest independent intestinal BD.4 systemic BD patients all presented as recurrent oral aphthous as initial symptom and had history of vulvar ulcer and skin lesion.They all had gastrointestinal symptoms,including retrosternal pain (2 cases),he-matochezia (3 cases),diarrhea (3 cases)and abdominal pain (2 cases).1 patient had a history of fis-tula of ileocecal junction and underwent caecectomy.5 patients all underwent whole digestive tract exami-nation by endoscopy,including gastroscopy,colonoscopy and capsule endoscopy.Except of 1 normal re-sult of colonoscopy,all endoscopy results revealed lesions.Capsule endoscopy results of all patients were abnormal.Types of small intestinal lesion were various,including ulceration,erosion,protrusion and vasculopathy.All digestive tract can be involved in BD patients.Capsule endoscopy can evaluate lesions throughout whole digestive tract,especially in small intestine.As a consequence,it is helpful to explain gastrointestinal symptom,increase early diagnostic rate.Intestinal BD (IBD)mainly involves small bow-el,and ileum is the major involved segment,not only limited in ileocecum.The updated perspective of IBD lesion distribution will contribute to differential diagnosis between IBD and Crohn’s disease.This is the first time to report capsule endoscopic feature of BD patients in China.

OBJECTIVE: Using the method of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) assay, to observe the activities of rat cerebral microvascular endothelial cells (CMECs) intervened by Tongluo Jiunao Injection (TLJNI), a traditional Chinese compound drug removing toxin to dredge brain collaterals, and then further study the effects of different kinds of conditioned mediums (CMECs-CM) of cerebral microvascular endothelial cells on ischemia and ischemia/reperfusion cerebral cortex cells, and to probe into the drug pharmacological mechanisms of CMECs in modulating the neurons. METHODS: Three kinds of CMECs (normal, ischemic and ischemic/reperfusional) were all treated by TLJNI previously, and then the three pairs of CMECs-CM without serum were collected respectively for LDH assay. Rat cerebral cortex neurons were also primarily cultured and then divided into similar three groups (normal, ischemic and ischemic/reperfusional). The neuron responses caused by CMECs-CM at different concentrations were observed by using LDH transudation rate assay. RESULTS: The LDH release values of ischemic and ischemic/reperfusional CMECs with TLJNI treatment were obviously reduced (P<0.01) compared with the same kinds of CMECs untreated. For ischemic neurons, both conditioned medium of ischemic CMECs (Is-CM) and conditioned medium of ischemic CMECs with drug treatment (IsT-CM) in high concentration of 100% increased the LDH transudation rate (P<0.01), while in low concentration of 10%, IsT-CM reduced the transudation rate (P<0.05). For ischemia/reperfusion neurons, all kinds of CMECs-CM reduced the transudation rate respectively (P<0.05 or P<0.01). As far as each group concentration was concerned, 10% or 50% showed relatively stronger effects, and both conditioned medium of normal CMECs (N-CM) group and conditioned medium of ischemic/reperfusional CMECs (Rp-CM) group had statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01). For normal neurons, all kinds of CMECs-CM increased the transudation rate respectively (P<0.05 or P<0.01). As far as each group concentration was concerned, only conditioned medium of normal CMECs (N-CM) had statistical significance (P<0.05 or P<0.01). CONCLUSION: The study shows that TLJNI is capable of preventing the damage of CMECs from both ischemia and ischemia/reperfusion states. Chinese drug can restrain the brain ischemia and ischemia/reperfusion damage by the media that CMECs modulate the neurons, demonstrating the pharmacological mechanisms of TLJNI. This work also indicates that there exist some active substances against ischemia/reperfusion injury secreted from CMECs-CM with TLJNI treatment.

Objeetive:To investigate the epidemiology of EBV in adenoidal hypertrophy and chronic tonsillitis and discuss the effection of EBV on the nosogenesis of adenoidal hypertrophy and tonsillitis of children.Method:Fifty-two children with chronic tonsillitis and/or adenoidal hypertrophy had the operations of the tonsillectomy and/or the adenoidectomy.These tissues reseeted and plasma of all cases were detected to find EBV-DNA by RQPCR.Result:The infection rate of EBV in the tissues of adenoidal hypertrophy and tonsillitis of childen was 51.9%.The boys'infection rate of EBV was 50.0%,and the girls'infection rate of EBV was 55.6%,which had not significantly different.The EBV infection rate in the tissues of tonsillitis was 40.4%,The EBV infection rate in the tissues of adenoidal hypertrophy was 48.9%,which had not significant difference.The school age group(7to 14 years old)presented higher infection rate of EBV in the tissues of adenoid and tonsil(65.5%)than the preschool children group(2 to 6 years old)(34.8%).Comparing the copies numbers of BV-DNA in the different degrees of adenoidal hypertrophy,we found that the copies numbers of EBV-DNA in the severe hypertrophy group were higher than the midrange and slight hypertrophy groups(P＜0.05).Meanwhile we detected EBV-DNA in these childrens'blood plasma by RQ-PCR.No blood plasma was detected EBV-DNA copies higher than normal(＜1×10~3 copies/ml).Conclusion:The tissues of adenoidal hypertrophy and tonsillitis had same sensitivity to EBV.There was not significant difference between the infection rates of the boys and girls with adenoidal hypertrophy and/or tonsillitis.With these children growing up and the course of diseases prolonging,the infection rate of EBV increased correspondingly.There was a certain correlation between the hypertrophy of adenoid and EBV.There were NO EBV-DNA fragments in blood plasma of the children with adenoidal hypertrophy and/or tonsillitis.So there were essential different between benign hyperplasy and nasopharyngeal carcinoma.

Objective To explore the functions of neuron‐specific enolase(NSE) and human multiple myeloma U266 cells on osteoclast‐like cells(OLC) function .Methods Normal human peripheral blood mononuclear cells were induced and cultured by adding RANKL and M‐CSF to get OLC ;the experiment was divided into 3 groups ,the NSE group:OLC were cultured in the 6‐well culture plate for 14 d and added with 100 ng/mL recombinant human NSE to culture for 24 ,48 ,72 h;the co‐culture group:OLC were cultured in the lower well of 6‐well Transwell chamber for 14 d ,then added with 1 × 105/well U266 cells in each upper well and conducted the co‐culture for 24 ,48 ,72 h;the control group :OLC were cultured alone .The influences of NSE and U266 cell line on RANKL ,OPG ,IL‐6 and TRAP mRNA transcriptional level of OLS were compared by using real‐time fluorescent quantitative PCR .Results RANKL ,OPG ,IL‐6 mRNA had no expression on OLC in the co‐culture group ,NSE group and control group ;com‐pared with control group ,the TRAP mRNA expression level in the co‐culture group and the NSE group was increased ,the differ‐ence was statistically significant(P<0 .01);the increase of TRAP mRNA expression level was obvious especially at 48 ,72 h .Con‐clusion OLC expressing TRAP and NSE may be one of the factors for promoting OLC differentiation and maturation in myeloma bone disease ,prompting that NSE could increase the OLC viability .

Objective To observe the turnaround time(TAT) of biochemistry laboratory in a certain hospital of Chongqing city,and to improve the quality of the laboratory by shortening the TAT.Methods TAT was analyzed by analyzing the daily workload,average TAT and failure rate of outpatient clinics,outpatient emergency,inpatient clinics,and inpatient emergency subjects from 2013 to 2015.The reasons for TAT prolongation were analyzed.Results The biochemical test samples were 77 060,97 129 and 105 304 from 2013 to 2015,and the annual growth rate was 26.0％ and 8.4％ respectively.TAT of the routine outpatient department samples were (78.55nu48.47)、(69.18± 37.20)、(62.82 ±21.62)min,which decreased year by year,and the difference were statistically significant(P＜0.05),and the TAT of the outpatient emergency were (64.13 ± 31.16),(59.22 ± 23.51),(66.01±37.73)min.TAT of inpatient clinics were (92.34± 53.41),(95.03±55.73) and (122.92±78.94)min from 2013 to 2015,which increased year by year,and the difference were statistically significant(P＜0.05),and the TAT of the inpatient emergency were(65.29±36.06),(62.41±30.18),(61.48±30.12)min,which decreased year by year,and the difference were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The substandard rate of samples aforementioned were 0.04％,2.99％,0.63％ and 3.69％,respectively.Conclusion TAT increases with the samples increase,it is necessary that making sure staffs more responsible in daily work,optimizing the procedure of daily biochemistry tests,improving ability of serving for clinic and patients.

Objective To discover new method studying renal deficiency and syndrome of blood stasis by gemellary research method.Methods Through clinical investigation of 300 instances of twins,we choice three twins,include mistress Yang from Qionglai city who is being later stage of older;mistress Yu from Chengdu city who is being presenium;mistress Lu from Beijing who is being Middle-age using five species of ovi-type appraisement methods,and syndrome-penthemeron investigation by blood stasis,stagnation of blood measuring scale,renal deficiency measuring scale,and eight principles measuring scale,in this text.Results(1)Get three family constellation graphs,which provide inspiration for syndrome-penthemeron studing.(2)Though investigating to three twins,we discover that this relative value of eight principles measuring scale has augmented tendency with time-lapse.3.There haven’t regularity from the stagnation of blood measuring scale and renal deficiency measuring scale.Conclusion Using gemellary research method to study Diabetes Mellitus is perfect.In spite of there haven’t ideal result,but it provid prospective thinking and suggestion for us.
