Objective: To study the influence of authraquinones derivative of nine fold processed Radix et Rhizoma Rhei on hyperlipema and hemorheology of animals. OBJECTIVE: This paper presents a method for treating maxillary neuralgia, the second division of trigeminal nerve. METHOD: One hundred and thirty six cases with 136 trigeminal neuralgia were treated from 2004 to 2011. All patients were treated with endoscopic surgery at the pterygopalatofossa through approach to the maxillary sinus for resecting maxillary nerve and infraorbital nerve. RESULT: One hundred and eighteen patients were relieved after operation and no recurrence of neuralgia was occurred after 2 to 8 years of follow-up. CONCLUSION This method had the advantages of avoiding to operate craniotomy with no complications, which was performed easily with valid efficacy.

Objective:To investigate the morphological feature and clinical significance of MRI around tumor after drug-eluting bead transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (DEB-TACE) of primary hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods:We reviewed and analyzed the data of hepatocellular carcinoma patients admitted from January 2017 to December 2018 in the Department of Radiological Intervention of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University. A total of 42 patients were enrolled, including 35 males and 7 females, aged (57.0±11.9) years. For the first time after operation, MRI enhancement showed peri-tumor margin enhancement as the starting point of follow-up. Follow-up and measure enhanced edge thickness, delayed enhancement, progression or remission data.Results:A total of 49 tumors and 84 peritumoral enhancement margins were included in 42 patients, with 30 sharp type , 40 rough type and 14 nodular type. The thickness of sharp type is less than that of rough type and nsodular type, and the differences were statistically significant (all P<0.05). The sharp type is the majority of the tumors with maximum diameter <5 cm, rough type and nodule type are the majority of tumors with maximum diameter ≥5 cm. Most of the sharp type are continuously enhanced, while the rough type and nodular type are not. Most sharp type relief (93.3%, 28/30), while rough type (80.0%, 32/40) and nodular type ( n=12) are mostly of deterioration, the differences are statistically significant (all P<0.05). Conclusion:Compared with the rough type and nodular type, the sharp type usually occurs in smaller tumors and more prone to local mitigation in the enhanced morphology around MRI after DEB-TACE in primary hepatocellular carcinoma.

Maternal depression can cause physical and mental harm to herself. This condition can lead to poor physical development in early offspring (newborns). However, the effect of maternal depression on the long-term physical development of offspring remains controversial. Studies have shown that offspring exposed to maternal depression in developed countries are at an increased risk of obesity. In view of the high incidence of maternal depression and childhood obesity in China, this article reviews the correlation between maternal depression and offspring obesity, aiming to provide insights for relevant research in China and offer references for the prevention and intervention of maternal depression and childhood obesity.

The vagina contains at least a billion microbial cells,dominated by lactobacilli.Here we perform metagenomic shotgun sequencing on cervical and fecal samples from a cohort of 516 Chinese women of reproductive age,as well as cervical,fecal,and salivary samples from a second cohort of 632 women.Factors such as pregnancy history,delivery history,cesarean section,and breastfeeding were all more important than menstrual cycle in shaping the microbiome,and such information would be necessary before trying to interpret differences between vagino-cervical micro-biome data.Greater proportion of Bifidobacterium breve was seen with older age at sexual debut.The relative abundance of lactobacilli especially Lactobacillus crispatus was negatively associated with pregnancy history.Potential markers for lack of menstrual regularity,heavy flow,dysmenor-rhea,and contraceptives were also identified.Lactobacilli were rare during breastfeeding or post-menopause.Other features such as mood fluctuations and facial speckles could potentially be predicted from the vagino-cervical microbiome.Gut and salivary microbiomes,plasma vitamins,metals,amino acids,and hormones showed associations with the vagino-cervical microbiome.Our results offer an unprecedented glimpse into the microbiota of the female reproductive tract and call for international collaborations to better understand its long-term health impact other than in the settings of infection or pre-term birth.

OBJECTIVES: The epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) brought psychological stress to the public, especially to patients. This study aims to investigate the mental health of patients with COVID-19 in Changsha. METHODS: We took cross-section investigation for the mental health of 112 patients with COVID-19 via questionnaires. Mann-Whitney test, Chi-square test, and Fisher's exact test were performed to compare general and clinical data between the slight-ordinary patients and severe patients. Single sample -tests were used to compare the difference between the factor scores of the Symptom Check-List 90 (SCL-90) in COVID-19 patients with the norm of 2015 and factor scores of SCL-90 in patients with the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). RESULTS: The obsessive-compulsive, depression, sleep and eating disorders had the highest frequency among the positive symptoms of SCL-90 in patients with COVID-19 in Changsha. The factor scores of somatization, depression, anxiety, phobia anxiety, sleep and eating disorders in patients with COVID-19 were higher than those of the norm (≤0.001 or <0.05). Slight-ordinary patients with COVID-19 in Changsha showed lower factor scores of somatization, depression, anxiety, and hostility compared with the patients with SARS (<0.001 or <0.05). There was no difference in factor scores of SCL-90 between the patients with severe COVID-19 and those with SARS(>0.05). CONCLUSIONS The levels of somatization, depression, anxiety, phobia anxiety, sleep and eating disorders in patients with COVID-19 in Changsha are higher than those of the norm. However, the mental health of slight-ordinary patients with COVID-19 is better than that of patients with SARS. It needs to provide targeting psychological interventions depending on the severity of patients.
