Objective To investigate the ultrasound characteristics of pseudothrombophlebitis.Methods The ultrasound characteristics of thirty-two popliteal cyst cases with pseudothrombophlebitis which were confirmed by MRI or puncture were retrospectively analyzed.The former group was matched with a case control group of sixty-four patients with asymptomatic popliteal cysts,the ultrasound images were comparative analysis between the two groups.Results Compared to the control group,both the length and width of the case group were larger [(12.4 ± 4.7) ×(2.5±0.4)cm vs (5.3±2.9) × (1.2±0.4)cm,P ＜ 0.001],and there were 18(43.8％) cases with the cysts extension into the calf.The case group were more prone to show cyst with poor ultrasound penetration or solid-cystic echo (78.1％ vs 9.4％,P =0.000),which were diagnosed as popliteal cyst with hematoma or infection.Six cases of case group showed irregular anechoic area surrounding the inferior border of the cysts,which were diagnosed as ruptured popliteal cyst,no similar imaging detected in the control group(P =0.001).Both the two group showed septation in the cyst,but it did not differ significantly(P ＞0.05).Conclusions Ultrasonography is helpful to the diagnosis of pseudothrombophlebitis,the ultrasound characteristics include large cyst extension into the calf,cyst with poor ultrasound penetration or solid-cystic echo and irregular anechoic area surrounding the inferior border of the cysts.

Objective To explore the depression status of the liver transplant recipients after the surgery and the impact factors.Method Forty two liver transplant recipients were assessed at 5 different time points(1 month,6 months,12 months, 24 months,36 months after the transplantation)using general information questionnaire(GIQ),social support rating scale(SSRS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS).Results After the transplantation,the longer recipients lived,the less depression they underwent.Age and post-operative objective support are the two major factors on depression status of the liver transplant recipients Conclusion The clinical and community nurses may pay attention to the mind state of the recipients after liver transplantation,and provide mental nursing in time and social support to prevent and improve the state of their depression.

Objective To investigate the dynamic change and the clinical curative effect evaluation of plasma (1-3)-beta glucan D (BG) in the patients with pulmonary disease complicating fungal infection .Methods The MB-80 miroorganism dynamic rapid de-tection system and fungi BG detection kits were adopted to detect plasma BG content before and after treatment in 87 cases of pul-monary disease complicating fungal infection and the controls .The sputum culture in the patients was performed before and after treatment .Results Plasma BG levels before antifungal therapy ,at 1 ,2 weeks after treatment in 87 patients were (162 .81 ± 70 .03) , (15 .89 ± 30 .88) and (4 .58 ± 7 .87)pg/mL ,which in the control group was (5 .62 ± 1 .83)pg/mL ,plasma BG level had statistical differences between before treatment and at 1 ,2 weeks after treatment in the patients with the control group (P<0 .05);Plasma BG levels between at 1 week after treatment with at 2 weeks after treatment and the control group had statistically significant differ-ences (P<0 .05) .Among 87 patients ,66 cases were positive sputum culture at 1 week after antifungal drug treatment and 9 cases were positive sputum culture at 2 weeks after treatment .Conclusion Continuously monitoring the patient′s plasma BG level com-bined with the sputum fungal culture results ,clinical symptoms and lung shadow in X-ray has certain clinical value to judge the anti-fungal effect .

Background: Multiple biomarkers have performed well in predicting type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) risk in Western populations. However, evidence is scarce among Asian populations. Methods: Plasma triglyceride-to-high density lipoprotein (TG-to-HDL) ratio, alanine transaminase (ALT), high-sensitivity Creactive protein (hs-CRP), ferritin, adiponectin, fetuin-A, and retinol-binding protein 4 were measured in 485 T2DM cases and 485 age-and-sex matched controls nested within the prospective Singapore Chinese Health Study cohort. Participants were free of T2DM at blood collection (1999 to 2004), and T2DM cases were identified at the subsequent follow-up interviews (2006 to 2010). A weighted biomarker score was created based on the strengths of associations between these biomarkers and T2DM risks. The predictive utility of the biomarker score was assessed by the area under receiver operating characteristics curve (AUC). Results: The biomarker score that comprised of four biomarkers (TG-to-HDL ratio, ALT, ferritin, and adiponectin) was positively associated with T2DM risk (P trend <0.001). Compared to the lowest quartile of the score, the odds ratio was 12.0 (95% confidence interval [CI], 5.43 to 26.6) for those in the highest quartile. Adding the biomarker score to a base model that included smoking, history of hypertension, body mass index, and levels of random glucose and insulin improved AUC significantly from 0.81 (95% CI, 0.78 to 0.83) to 0.83 (95% CI, 0.81 to 0.86; P=0.002). When substituting the random glucose levels with glycosylated hemoglobin in the base model, adding the biomarker score improved AUC from 0.85 (95% CI, 0.83 to 0.88) to 0.86 (95% CI, 0.84 to 0.89; P=0.032). Conclusion A composite score of blood biomarkers improved T2DM risk prediction among Chinese.

Objective:To investigate the clinical features and prognosis of ETV6-RUNX1-positive childhood B-precursor acute lymphocyte leukemia (B-ALL) .Methods:The clinical data of 927 newly diagnosed children with B-ALL admitted to the Fujian Medical University Union Hospital from April 2011 to May 2020 were retrospectively analyzed. According to the results of ETV6-RUNX1 gene, the patients were divided into ETV6-RUNX1 + and ETV6-RUNX1 - groups. The clinical features and prognosis between the two groups were compared. Among the 182 children with ETV6-RUNX1 +, 144 patients received the Chinese Childhood Leukemia Collaborative Group (CCLG) -ALL 2008 protocol (CCLG-ALL 2008 group) and 38 received the China Childhood Cancer Collaborative Group (CCCG) -ALL2015 protocol (CCCG-ALL 2015 group) . The efficacy, serious adverse effects (SAE) incidence, and treatment-related mortality (TRM) of the two groups were also compared. Results:Of the 927 B-ALL patients, 189 (20.4% ) were ETV6-RUNX1 +. The proportion of patients with risk factors (age ≥10 years or <1 year, white blood cell count ≥50×10 9/L) in the ETV6-RUNX1 + group was significantly lower than that in the ETV6-RUNX1 - group ( P=0.000, 0.001, respectively) , while the proportion of patients with good early response (good response to prednisone, d15 or d19 MRD <1% , and d33 or d46 MRD<0.01% in induction chemotherapy) in the ETV6-RUNX1 + group was significantly higher than that in the ETV6-RUNX1 - group ( P=0.028, 0.004, respectively) . The 5-year EFS and OS of the ETV6-RUNX1 + group were significantly higher than those of the ETV6-RUNX1 - group (EFS: 89.8% vs 83.2% , P=0.003; OS: 90.2% vs 86.3% , P=0.030) . The incidence of infection-related SAE and TRM was significantly higher than that of CCCG-ALL 2015 group. A statistical difference was observed between the incidence of infection-related SAE of the two groups (27.1% vs 5.3% , P=0.004) , but no difference in TRM (4.9% vs 0, P=0.348) . Conclusion:ETV6-RUNX1 +B-ALL children have fewer risk factors at diagnosis, better early response, lower recurrence rate, and good prognosis than that of ETV6-RUNX1 -B-ALL children. Reducing the intensity of chemotherapy appropriately can lower the infection-related SAE and TRM and improve the long-term survival in this subtype.
