Objective To detect the changes in DNA loads of human papillomavirus (HPV) type 6/11 in lesions of patients with condyloma accuminatum (CA) before and after 5-aminolevulinic acid photodynamic therapy (ALA-PDT).Methods After removal of warts by electrocautery,HPV6/11-positive patients with CA were divided into two groups:treatment group (32 cases) receiving two sessions of ALA-PDT with intervals of 7-10 days,and control group (29 cases) remaining untreated.Exfoliated cells were collected from the lesional sites of these patients before and 3 months after the first session of ALA-PDT,and fluorescence-based quantitative PCR was conducted to estimate the DNA loads of HPV 6/11 in these cells.Results Three months after the first session of ALA-PDT,89.7％ (26/29) of the patients in the treatment group and 68.4％ (13/19) in the control group became HPV DNA negative,with significant differences between the treatment group and control group in the DNA loads of HPV ((1.70 ± 7.86) × 105 vs.(1.27 ± 2.21) × 106 copies/ml,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion ALA-PDT can reduce HPV DNA loads in lesions of CA in patients.

Objective To detect human papilloma virus (HPV) and to determine its genotype in children with condyloma acuminatum (CA) in Weifang city,Shandong province.Methods Swab specimens were collected from the surface of lesions of 24 children with CA.PCR/flow-through hybridization assay was performed to detect HPV and determine its genotypes in these specimens.Results Among the 24 specimens,95.8％ (23/24) were positive for HPV.Of the HPV-positive specimens,87.0％ (20/23) harbored single type of HPV,and 13.0％ (3/23) multiple types of HPV.The most common genotype was HPV6(9/23),followed by HPV16 (6/23),HPV11 (5/23),HPV58 (3/23),HPV18 (2/23),and HPV53 (1/23).Conclusions HPV 6,16,11,58 and 18 prevail in children patients with CA in Weifang city,Shandong province.Additionally,the HPV genotypes in children patients are similar to those in their close contacts.

It is reported in this article that ?-lipoprotein and partial ?_1-and X_2-globulin in scrum are apparently lower, but haptoglobin and ?-lipoprotein are apparently higher by polyacryamide gel clectrophoresis in 50 cases of uremi(?) patients, and that albumin and partial ?_1-and ?_2-globulin in scrum are apparently lower, but partial ?_2-globulin and ?-lipoproteinare apparently higher by polyacryamide gel clectrophoresis in 50 cases of nephrotic syndrome patients. The mechanism and clinical significance of these changes are discussed.

Objective To conduct a single-center retrospective analysis on the distribution characteristics and prevalence of idiopathic membranous nephropathy (IMN) patients diagnosed with pathology for the past 16 years,to investigate diagnostic and differential diagnostic value of serum antiphospholipase A2 receptor antibodies (PLA2R-Ab),and to evaluate the correlation between PLA2R-Ab and clinical disease activity.Methods (1) 6996 biopsy-proven primary glomerular nephropathy (PGN) patients,including 1567 IMN cases,admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Xi'an Jiaotong University from January 2000 to December 2015 were involved.Demographics and pathological type were gathered from all patients.(2) 433 cases receiving renal biopsy and testing PLA2R-Ab from June 2015 to December 2015 were involved,with their clinical and laboratorial data being collected.During the period patients' follow-up time,therapeutic schedule and laboratory results were recorded.Results (1) IMN accounted for 22.4％ of primary glomerular disease,and patients above 40 years old accounted for more than 60％ of the IMN.(2) The sensitivity and specificity of serological PLA2R-Ab were 58.1％(95％CI 47.0％-68.5％) and 98.6％(95％CI 95.6％-99.6％) respectively.PLA2R-Ab positive rate was affected by immunosuppression therapy.(3) The PLA2R-Ab titers wasn't correlated with 24-hour urinary protein (r=-0.017,P=0.887),serum albumin (r=-0.072,P=0.549) and urinary red blood cell count (r=-0.030,P=0.802).There was no difference between PLA2R-Ab positive positive and PLA2R-Ab negative on proportion of IMN pathological stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ (P ＞ 0.05).Thirteen cases of patients with PLA2R-Ab positive were all prescribed glucocorticoid combined with immunosuppressant.After (2.21± 1.09) months,the decrease of PLA2R-Ab titers was in accordance with 24-hour urinary protein quantity descending and serum albumin ascending (P ＜ 0.05).Condusions The incidence of IMN increase year by year,especially in the mid-aged and the elderly.Serum PLA2R-Ab correlates not with IMN pathological stage,but with the development of IMN.Monitoring PLA2R-Ab titers individually may access the efficiency of treatment.

The content of bicarbonate ( HCO-3 ) and carbonate ( CO2-3 ) ions in groundwater and lake water reflects a broad set of carbon cycling reactions associated with decomposition or synthesis of organic compounds with mineral dissolution or precipitation, which indicates the local geochemical environment. However, the content of HCO-3 and CO2-3 changes easily under the influence of pH, temperature, atmosphere pressure in the process of sampling, transportation and storage, so it has been a worldwide problem to determine the real content of HCO-3 and CO2-3 ions in groundwater and lake water. This article proposed a new way to solve the problem by fast field detection of HCO-3 and CO2-3 ions through the use of pH electrode combined with carbon dioxide electrode. Studies showed in the base solution of pH=4. 8 ± 0. 1, the detection range of HCO-3 ion was 0. 027-570 mg/L and that of CO2-3 was 1. 25 ×10-8-39. 7 mg/L. In the most case, the coexisting ions and weak acid ( K+, Na+, Mg2+, Cl-, SO2-4 <100 mg/L;HSO-3 , NO-2 , HOAc<50 mg/L) did not interfere with the analysis. The method was validated for real water samples and the recoveries were in the range of 95. 2%-99. 2% with the relative standard deviations (RSDs) of 2. 6%-3. 7%. Compared with the acid-base titration method, the accuracy of this method had proved to be good. However, the method could be affected by temperature, so the standard solution and samples should be measured at the same temperature. Above all, this method is suitable for fast field analysis for HCO-3 and CO2-3 ions in the nature water as it is sensitive, fast, economical, and the electrodes are easy to carry and operate. It has been successfully applied in the determination of HCO-3 and CO2-3 in groundwater and lake water in Qinghai Province. Experiment showed that the pH of the groundwater samples from Haidong district was 6 . 4-7 . 4 , with 234-4096 mg/L HCO-3 and 0. 16-1. 89 mg/L CO2-3 . The pH of the lake water samples was about 8. 7, with 1. 36-1. 86 g/L HCO-3 and 32. 3-43. 9 mg/L CO2-3 , which was consistent with the previous results.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the epidemic features of childhood allergic rhinitis (AR) and correlative risk factors in Yinchuan. METHOD: A questionnaire survey on AR was conducted among 800 children in eight communities, aged from 5 to 14 years old, by random cluster sampling, from March 2012 to March 2013 in Yinchuan. Suspects of AR, as identified by the survey, were recommended to specialist examinations for accurate diagnosis. The results were statistically analyzed. RESULT: Seven hundred and sixteen questionnaires were returned and 662 questionnaires were available. The prevalence rate of AR in children aged from 5 to 14 is 14.65% in Yinchuan. Seventy-nine point thirty-eight percent children suffered from intermittent AR, while 20.61% children suffered from persistent AR. The difference of prevalence between female (13.57%) and male (15.44%) was insignificant statistically (Χ2=0.454, P>0.05). The difference of prevalence between the Han (15.72%) and the Hui (11.35%) insignificant statistically (Χ2=2.055, P>0.05). The prevalence of AR children aged five to nine years was 13.80%, as aged ten to fourteen years was 19.72%. There was a significante differece between two groups (Χ2=4.056, P<0.05). The most explosive outbreak month in children with allergic rhinitis was July to September. The most common allergens found in patients were seasonal plants: mugwort, weed, dandelion, cereal, locust, ragweed, and willow. Fifteen point forty-six percent patients with AR also had rhinitic, 14.43% patients had asthma and 14.43% patients had allergic conjunctivitis. The history of drug allergy accounted for 12.37% in patients with AR, and food allergy accounted for 26.80%. In allergic rhinitis risk factors, family history accounted for 30.92%, non-breastfeeding representing accounted for 34.02%, animal feeding history accounted for 19.59%; exposure to passive smoking accounted for 42.26%; domestic decoration accounted for 12.37%. There were significante difference between AR children and normal in family history and non-breastfeeding (P<0.05). CONCLUSION The prevalence rate of AR in children aged from 5 to 14 in Yinchuan is 14.45%. Strategy of prevention and treatment of AR should be worked out according to the epidemic feature of AR.

Objective To observe the effect of H shaped decalcified bone grafting on spinal fusion and anti conglutination by posterior approach and to evaluate its values in the application in spinal posterior approach surgery. Methods Total laminectomy was performed on 23 cases of severe spinal stenosis and 31 cases of intraspinal tumor for decompression. Thorough decompression of the nerve roots was performed on the former following total laminectomy while exploration and excision of the neoplasm were done on the latter. Then, H shaped decalcified bone grafts were inlaid between spinous processes and transverse processes to cover the lamina defection and overlap the adjacent segments in all cases. At last, the spinal internal fixation or plaster external fixation were used to stabilize vertebral segments according to the economic status of patients. The average time of follow up was 21 months (18～31 months). Results All patients got successful segmental spinal fusion within 8 months. Clinical symptoms were obviously alleviated in 43 cases at the end of follow up but symptoms recurred 12 months after operation in other 11 cases(all were tumor patients). Conclusion H shaped decalcified bone graft is valuable in spinal fusion and anti conglutination in spinal posterior approach surgery.
