OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of sodium hyaluronate plus compound betamethasone and glucosamine for moderate gonitis. METHODS: 69 patients with moderate gonitis were randomly assigned to receive sodium hyaluronate (Group A,n=23),sodium hyaluronate plus compound betamethasone(Group B,n=23) or sodium hyaluronate plus compound betamethasone and glucosamine(Group C,n=23). The course of treatment for all the three groups was 5 weeks. OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the cost-effectiveness of2different administration regimens for treatment for pains in waist and back caused by osteoporosis.METHODS:123patients were randomly divided into2groups,Group A underwent salmon calcitonin nasal spray,Group B received salmon calcitonin intramuscular injection,2different regimens of administration were evaluated using pharmacoeconomic cost-effectiveness analysis.RESULTS:The total costs in Group A and B were1596yuan and2634.66yuan,respectively(P0.05);And the ratios of cost-effectiveness16.8and27.7,respectively.CONCLUSION:Regimen A is preferred to regimen B.

Objective: To detect gallic acid in Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. by high performance liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry. Methods: A method for determining gallic acid in Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. by HPLC-MS is described. The operating conditions were Diamonsil C18 column (5μm, 4.6×250 mm) at room temperature, methanol-0.05% phosphoric acid solution as mobile phase by step gradients elution at a flow of 0.8 ml/min and UV detection at 270 nm. Results:The content of gallic acid is 1.8 mg/g. The relative standard deviation of gallic acid is 1.7%. Conclusion:The content of gallic acid in Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. is high, which may be related to the inhibition of FAS.

Objective To observe the degree of arterial oxygenation and the incidence of hypoxaemia by different antalgic modes in elderly patients postoperatively, and to investigate the way of prophylaxis and treatment. Methods Sixty elderly patients by different postoperative antalgic modes were randomly divided into three groups with 20 in each: patient-controlled epidural analgesia group, continuously intravenous infusion analgesia group and intramuscular injection analgesia group. The oxygen saturation was monitored during 24 hours and the arterial blood gases were measured immediately before and 4, 24 and 48 hour after operation. Results The rates of hypoxaemia occurring once or more in patient-controlled epidural analgesia group, continuously intravenous infusion analgesia group and intramuscular injection analgesia group were 21%, 36% and 32% respectively . There were no significant differences in PaO 2 (arterial PO 2) and PaCO 2 (arterial PCO 2) between postoperative 48 hour and immediately before operation in patient-controlled epidural analgesia group. PaO 2 and PaCO 2 at 4 and 24 hour after operation were significantly lower than those immediately before operation, and all were over 70 mmHg. Conclusions Patient-controlled epidural analgesia may improve the degree of arterial oxygenation and lower the incidence of hypoxaemia after operation in elderly patients.

Objective To understand Toxoplasma gondii infection and awareness condition of married childbearing women in Chengde Region so as to provide the evidence for the establishment of control measures. Methods Totally 733 married childbearing women who took physical examination in Chengde Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from July to December in 2013 were investigated by questionnaire to understand the awareness condition on T. gondii infection then 490 women among them from 3 counties and 2 districts were randomly chosen to detect the Toxoplasma antibodies by ELISA. Results A total of 733 questionnaires were returned and 126 women knew related knowledge about T. gondii infection and the awareness rate was 17.19% 126/733 . Sixty-three women were determined as infected cases and the infection rate was 12.86% 63/490 . The infection rates of the women who with higher educational level working as medical staff and living in urban were lower and the awareness rates of them were higher. Conclusions The infection rate of T. gondii among the married childbearing women in Chengde Region is high and the awareness rate of them is low. In order to decrease the infection rate as well as to increase the awareness rate of the population the health education should be strengthened.

Methods:A method for determining chlorogenic acid of Chaenomeles speciosa by HPLC-MS is described. The operating conditions were Diamonsil C18 column (5μm, 4.6×250 mm) at room temperature, acetonitrile-0.05%phosphoric acid solution as mobile phase by step gradients elution at a flow of 0.8 ml/min and UV detection at 325 nm. Results: The content of chlorogenic acid of Chaenomeles speciosa is 1.3 mg/g (RSD 0.4%), respectively. Conclusion:Chlorogenic acid was detected from Chaenomeles speciosa, which may be related to its inhibition of FAS and the potential role of anticancer.

Objective To study the correlated factors of long-term survival after hepatectomy.Methods The preoperative and postoperative conditions of 94 patients with liver cancer survived over 10 years after hepatectomy were enrolled for reviewing analysis.Results The important correlated factors of postoperative long-term survival are the following:(1) Diameter of tumor≤ 5 cm(73.4 ％);peripheral liver cancer(70.2 ％).(2) Effective treatment for recurrence.(3) Long-term and regular treatment of antiliver fibrosis and anti-cancer after hepatectomy(mainly Chinese Medicine).(4)Enforcing follow-up survey.Conclusion Diameter of tumor≤5 cm,peripheral liver cancer patients,enforcing follow-up survey and Chinese Medicine treatment are important factors of achieve long-term survival after hepatectomy.

Objective To investigate the toxicities and inhibitory effects of three kinds of kegin-type novel heteropoly compounds which were synthesised by molecular assembly interactions on influnenza A virus(H1N1) in vitro.Methods The toxicities and anti-influnenza virus activities were tested by methods of CPE-MTT and chick embryos culture.Results TC_(50) in MDCK cells and LD_(50) in chick embryos of three kinds of kegin-type novel heteropoly compounds were higher than those of amantadine.TI in MDCK cells and chick embryos were both higher than that of amantadine. Conclusion The three kinds of kegin-type novel heteropoly compounds have lower toxicities and higher anti-virus effects on influnenza A virus(H1N1) than amantadine.Through chemic modifications,the toxicity of amantadine can be decreased and the activity of amantadine can be increased.

AIM: To evaluate the changes of microRNA (miRNA) in hepatocytes during hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress injury, and to observe the alleviating effect of mesenchymal stem cell-conditioned medium (MSC-CM) in this progress.METHODS: The hepatocyte oxidative stress injury model was established using hydrogen peroxide and human normal liver cell line L02.MSC-CM was prepared using centrifugation and filter.The effects of MSC-CM on hepatocyte injury were evaluated by apoptosis analysis, cell viability detection, cell cycle, and mitochondrial membrane po-tential (MMP).Twenty-one differentially expressed miRNAs were selected by gene chip hybridization, in which miR-143, miR-145, miR-301a and let-7a were confirmed by RT-qPCR.Bioinformatics software was utilized to predict target proteins of these miRNAs, and then the proteins were verified by Western blot.RESULTS: MSC-CM markedly attenuated hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress injury by reducing apoptosis, promoting cell viability and regulating cell cycle.The ex-pression of miR-143, miR-145, miR-301a and let-7a, indentified by RT-qPCR, increased under the condition of oxidative stress injury, while decreased after MSC-CM treatment.The expression of miR-143 predicted target proteins, HK2 and ADRB1, decreased under the hydrogen peroxide-exposure, while increased after MSC-CM treatment, which is consistent with the regulatory trend of miR-143.CONCLUSION: MSC-CM might attenuate hydrogen peroxide induced oxidative stress injury via inhibiting apoptosis and regulating some miRNA expression.
