1.Influence of vasectomy and experimental hyperlipemia on brain stem response and serous lipid peroxides
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(01):-
Sixteen rabbits vaseetomized 12 months were divided into vasectomy stock diet(V-S) group and vasectomy cholesterol diet(V-Ch)group. 16 male rabbits of same body weight were divided into control stock diet(C-S) group and control cholesterol diet (C-Ch) group. The results showe that (1)the ABR threshold values of the vasectomy groups (V-S,V-Ch) were not different from those of the control groups(C-S,C-Ch), but the ABR threshold values of cholesterol diet groups(V-Ch,C-Ch) were markedly higher than those of stock diet groups (V-S,C-S) and were positively related to the TC level (P0.05); (3) the serous lipid peroxide levels had apparently positive relation with the serous total cholesterol level (P0.05).
2.Prospect for research on cyclin E and p27 in breast cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2010;37(6):445-448
Deregulation of cell cycle is one of important mechanisms leading to breast cancer. It has been revealed that cyclin E and p27 are the most important regulatory factor for cell cycle control and a better marker for evaluating prognosis of breast cancer compared to other biological markers.

Chinese Journal of Gastroenterology 2016;21(10):585-591
Background:CDK14 is a novel cyclin-dependent kinase, which is overexpressed in a variety of cancer and related to their malignant behavior. Aims:To investigate the effect of CDK14 on proliferation of human esophageal carcinoma cells and its possible mechanism. Methods:Expressions of CDK14 and two cell proliferation markers,PCNA and Ki-67 were estimated in 8 fresh-frozen specimens of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma(ESCC),96 paraffin-embedded specimens of ESCC,and human ESCC cell line Eca-109 by Western blotting and immunohistochemistry. Correlations of CDK14 expression with the clinicopathological characteristics and prognosis of ESCC were analyzed. Serum starvation and release assay was performed to evaluate the relationship between CDK14 expression and cell cycle progression in Eca-109 cells. Furthermore,Eca-109 cells were transiently transfected with shRNA-CDK14 to reduce CDK14 protein level, and then the phosphorylation of tumor suppressor protein Rb,cell cycle progression and proliferation capability of Eca-109 cells were determined. Results:CDK14 was highly expressed in both ESCC tissue and cell line, which was paralleled with the expressions of PCNA and Ki-67 and correlated significantly with the tumor size, histological grade, invasiveness and metastasis of ESCC(P < 0. 05). The overall survival was poor in patients with high CDK14 expression than those with low CDK14 expression(P < 0. 05). Serum starvation and release assay showed that the expression of CDK14 was cell cycle-dependent. Knockdown of CDK14 reduced the expression level of phosphorylated Rb,induced significant G1 phase arrest and resulted in less colony formation in Eca-109 cells(P all < 0. 05). Conclusions:CDK14 is highly expressed in ESCC. It may promote cell cycle progression by phosphorylating downstream Rb protein, thus enhancing the proliferation of tumor cells, and ultimately participating in the occurrence and development of ESCC.

Chinese Journal of Microsurgery 2011;34(1):47-49,后插5
Objective To study the biological effect of Icariine on human umbilical cord derived mesenchymal stem cells(huCMSCs) and inducing them to differentiate into osteoblasts. Methods MSCs were isolated and expanded in vitro and their surface antigens of huCMSCs were detected by immunohistochemistry. HuCMSCs were assigned into two groups. In the blank control group, huMSCs were incubated in basic medium. In the experimental group huMSCs were incubated in Icariine medium, The proliferation and differentiation of huMSCs were examined by inverted microscope, Alkaline phosphatase (ALP) staining and the determination of ALP activities. Results HuCMSCs were strongly positive for CD44, and negative for CD34; strongly positive expression for ALP and calcium deposition was detected from the second day to the fourth day in Icariine group; blank control group and Icariine group had significant differences (P < 0.05).Conclusion HuCMSCs can be successfully cultured from the adherent tissue pieces, Icariine enhances proliferation and osteogenic differentiation of huCMSCs and be used as an osteoinductive factor.

Objective:To explore the short-term outcomes of a 3D printed trabecular block cage to assist posterior internal fixation for the treatment of patients with basilar invagination and atlantoaxial dislocation. Methods:Between June 2017 and February 2019, 12 patients with basilar invagination and atlantoaxial dislocation underwent atlantoaxial distraction and posterior internal fixation at Department of Orthopedics, The First Affiliated Hospital to Zhengzhou University. They were 5 males and 7 females, aged from 34 to 62 years (average, 45.6 years). 3D printed cages were inserted intraoperatively between the joints of the atlantoaxial lateral mass. The atlanto-dental interval interval (ADI), cervico-medullary angle (CMA) and distance from tip of the odontoid process to Chamberlain's line (DOCL) and the Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) scale were compared between preoperation and 12 months postoperation to observe the fusion of the joints of the atlantoaxial lateral mass. Results:Operation went on uneventfully in all the 12 patients. Operation time averaged 116.5 min (from 85 to 190 min), fluoroscopy frequency 9.4 times (from 6 to 21 times), and intraoperative bleeding 82.3 mL (from 50 to 210 mL). No such postoperative complications occurred as cerebrospinal leak, cerebral infarction, or breakage, displacement or loosening of implants. All patients were followed up for 18 to 42 months (mean, 26.3 months). Their preoperative JOA, ADI, CMA and DOCL [8.33±0.98, (8.66±1.64) mm, 119.63°±4.15° and (9.66±2.15) mm] were significantly improved to 14.17±1.03, (2.63±0.59) mm, 153.76°±7.88° and (2.07±0.69) mm ( P<0.05) at 12 months postoperation. Bony fusion was achieved in all the operative segments. Conclusion:In the treatment of patients with basilar invagination and atlantoaxial dislocation, a 3D-printed trabecular block cage can be used to assist posterior internal fixation to achieve satisfactory reduction and maintain the height of joint space, leading to satisfactory short-term outcomes.

BACKGROUND: Peri-implant crestal bone resorption is considered as a normal reaction according to traditional butt-joint prosthesis around two-piece implants. OBJECTIVE: To evaluate bone loss around two-piece implants restored according to the platform switching concept in the posterior area of the mandible. METHODS: Eighty-eight implants were consecutively placed in 50 patients following submerged surgical protocol. In the test group, 40 Ankylos implants were placed using platform switching technique, while 48 3i implants using traditional butt-joint in the control group. All the implants were positioned at the crestal level. Definitive prosthesis was delivered after 3 months. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: All implants were judged to be successfully osseointegrated. The success rate was 100%. Twelve months after restoration, radiographic analysis showed an average bone reduction level of (0.31±0.39) mm in the test group that was statistically significantly different (P < 0.01) from the average reduction in the control group [(0.94±0.43) mm]. In the follow-up time, no implants were loose or lost and healthy gingival was seen. These findings show that the platform switching technique can reduce peri-implant crestal bone resorption and preserve alveolar bone level around dental implants 12 months after restoration.Oral Implantology Center, Affiliated Hospital of Medical College, Qingdao University, Qingdao 266003, Shandong Province, China
