3.An initial report of transplantation of the adductor brevis and gracilis to treat scissors gait of spastic cerebral palsy
Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 2001;0(01):-
Objective To evaluate the effects of transplant adductor brevis and gracilis to correct scissors gait in spastic cerebral palsy. Methods From July 2000 to December 2004, 73 patients with scissors gait of spastic cerebral palsy were treated with transplantation of adductor brevis and gracilis, 47 were males and 26 were females, with the average of 12.06 years old. According to Ashworth's standard, the muscle tension was evaluated before surgery. 12 cases were in degree Ⅰ, 38 cases were in degreeⅡ, 18 cases in degree Ⅲ and 5 cases in degree Ⅳ. The end of adductor brevis was cut off and sutured with tensor fasciae latae through the tunnel under the skin, the end of gracilis was cut off and transplanted to the lateral condylus of femur through the back of the knee. Some certain surgery completed at the same time, the semitendious and biceops muscle was transplanted to the front of the knee(37 cases) and extended(13 cases), the soft tissue was released in hip joint(55 cases), the gastrocnemius cut off (32 cases), the Achilles's tendon extended(30 cases) and tibialis anterior lateral transplantation (31 cases), only peroneus longus lateral transplantation (8 cases). After operation the lower limbs was fixed with plaster cast for 6 weeks, then the plaster cast was removedassociating with functional exercise. The orthopaedic results were evaluated on the function of hip, knee, foot-malleoious and the gait, then classified four grades. Results All patients were followed up an average of 24.4 months. The scissors gait was corrected completely, 61 cases were excellent, 10 cases were good, 2 cases were fair. The majority symptom of whem was the knee flexure, but can be relieved by medicine. There were significant differences compared pre-operation with post-operation in four groups, and also between degree Ⅳ group and degree Ⅰand Ⅱgroup(P
4.Hip Abnormities in Patients with Spinal Cord Injury (review)
Chinese Journal of Rehabilitation Theory and Practice 2014;(8):742-744
Patients with spinal cord injury would suffer many complications including hip abnormities. Few reports on spinal cord injury with hip dislocation had been published because of a lower incidence and difficulty to be found in clinical practice. This paper reviewed epidemiology, etiology, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of hip dislocation after spinal cord injury.
5.Animal models of spinal cord injury:application and research progress of evoked potentials
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2014;(49):8026-8030
BACKGROUND:With the development of industrial society and traffic, the incidence of spinal cord injury has gradualy increased. In addition to radiological laboratory examinations, the neurophysiological test also becomes an effective way of auxiliary examination. Due to the high accuracy and easy operating, neurophysiological test is widely used and the evoked potentials play a role in this project. OBJECTIVE:To summarize the application of somatosensory evoked potentials and motor evoked potentials in rabbits of spinal cord injury. METHODS:A computer-based online research of CNKI and PubMed databases was performed with the key words of “spinal cord injury; evoked potentials; animal models” in Chinese and English. Finaly 33 articles were included in the analysis according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The operational approach, waveform analysis, application value, influencing factor of somatosensory evoked potentials and motor evoked potentials were determined in details, the correlation between evoked potentials and prognosis assessment in animals was also detected. Somatosensory evoked potentials is a good indicator for the evaluation of dorsal funiculus of spinal cord, it is easy to operate and reflects the changes of sensory functions. Motor evoked potentials can provide sensitive diagnosis of spinal cord diseases, and they wil be used as a means to assess the spinal cord injury during rehabilitation. The combination of the two can provide a more accurate result.

Medical Journal of Chinese People's Liberation Army 1981;0(04):-
Objective To investigate the effect of over-expressed Cyr61 on the expression of extracellular matrix of human renal tubular epithelial cells(HKC), and explore the role of Cyr61 in the pathogenesis and development of autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease(ADPKD). Methods Cyr61 gene cDNA was amplified by RT-PCR. A recombinant plasmid pcDNA3.1+ Cyr61 was constructed by cloning Cyr61 gene into pcDNA3.1. HKC cells were transfected with wild-type Cyr61 plasmid vector (pcDNA3.1+Cyr61). Then the fusion of Cyr61 gene and expression of its protein were detected by RT-PCR and Western blot. The mRNA expression of Cyr61, collagen Ⅰ, collagen Ⅳ, and laminin were determined in four groups (the untransfected cells, pcDNA3.1 transfected cells, pcDNA3.1+Cyr61 -transfected cells and cyst-lining epithelial cells) by fluorescence quantum PCR. Results The amount of Cyr61 protein in Cyr61-transfected cells and cyst-lining epithelial cells were much greater than the control. The mRNA expression of Cyr61, collagen Ⅰ, collagen Ⅳ and laminin in Cyr61-transfected cells were all amplified significantly, and the level of collagen Ⅳwas much higher than collagen I(P
