1.Management of scientific research funding from the usage of scientific research funding

The factor that how the research funding is managed and used is very important for the progress and quality of research projects.With the continuous increase in the degree of supervision for the research fund,the attention to scientific research funding in hospital is also gradually raised.The problems of mismanaged and misuse research fund has been highlighted.The current study,based on the characteristics of medical research,comprehensively analyzed the existing problems of medical research funding in use and management from the point of view of research management.To solve these problems,we proposed suggestions and countermeasures to improve the use and management of research funding,and continued to improve the management of research funding.
2.Research on the strategy and effect of scientific research management in the construction of hospital discipline-A case study of Peking University Cancer Hospital

Discipline construction is the core of the construction and development of hospital,the situation of discipline construction reflects the overall strength,academic position and core competitiveness of the hospital.The construction of clinical discipline mainly includes three contents:the construction of academic team,the determination of the subject direction,and the construction of the discipline platform.Scientific research is the main content of discipline construction.High level of research is the carrier of discipline construction.We have performed many management measures:improving the scientific management system,strengthening the dynamic management of the department,global planning,paying attention to personnel training and talent introduction,building reasonable talent echelon and advanced platform to create a good academic environment.According to these measures we have achieved fruitful results.
3.Promoting the scientific research personnel training according to the reinforcement of hospital management of scientific research

Cultivation of medical scientific research personnel is the driving force and source of the development of medicine.Powerful medical scientific research management would improve the overall level of hospital scientific research.Through the strengthening of discipline construction,the establishment of cooperation and communication platform,the implementation of an effective incentive mechanism,the improvement of research supporting conditions,the improvement of the quality of personnel management,the construction of scientific research management platform,we effectively enhanced the ability of scientific research personnel,and improved the level of scientific research in our hospital.
4.Discussion and reflections based on the management mode of hospital laboratory

Objective To investigate the hospital laboratory management mode.Methods We used literature review and comparative analysis to understand the different laboratory management mode,explore suitable operation mechanisms for hospital research and the development of hospital la boratory.Through a variety of measures to improve the efficiency and level of management,we tried to ensure the high efficiency and high quality operation of clinical laboratory,hospital science research,personnel training,discipline construction to provide quality services.Results There were two kinds of hospital laboratory management modes,which were centralized and decentralized management mode.Both management modes had advantages and disadvantages.We thought the centralized-decentralized binding mode was an ideal combination.Based of this mode,we implemented a number of initiatives and achieved significant results.Conclusions From the scale of hospital and its long-term development,centralized decentralized binding mode is a kind of ideal mode.
5.Application of PDCA circulation in the management of scientific research project and gain rate

The quality and quantity of scientific research project are important indexes to evaluate the comprehensive scientific research strength of organizations.To improve the quality of grant and successful of application rate,we applied the circulation to scientific research management.We utilized fishbone analysis method to analyze the factors associated with successful rate of research projects and performed many countermeasures.According to the measurements,the quality of research project,management and successful rate has been continually improved.
6.Research on a novel bilayered scaffold being used in tissue engineering (TE) of osteochondral repair

[Objective]To explore the potential of a novel collagen I /chitosan /Nano?-tricalcium phosphate(?-TCP)bilayered scaffold for being used in tissue engineering(TE)of osteochondral repair.[Method]Bilayered scaffolds were produced with collagen Ⅰ,chitosan and?-TCP,using a special cross-linking and freeze drying method.The pore size,porosity and interpores of the scaffold were observed by scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Rabbit bone mesenchymal stem cells(BMSC)were isolated and amplified,then inoculated onto the scaffold.By SEM scanning,the condition of the cells adhering onto the scaffold was observed.The proliferation of the cells on the scaffolds was examined using MTT method,and the growth curve was drawn.The cell-scaffold composite were then induced to differentiate towards cartilage by 3-D culturing,and then implanted into muscle pouches 2 weeks later.The result was observed 6 weeks later by HE staining,toluidine blue staining and type Ⅱ collagen immunohistochemistry.[Result]The scaffold possessed high porosity and proper pore size,the porosity was above 95%.BMSC could adhere onto the scaffold well,and the proliferation rate of the cells on the scaffolds was perfectly good.After in vitro induction,BMSC-scaffold composite can differentiate toward cartilage ectopicly.[Conclusion]The novel collagen I /chitosan /?-TCP bilayered scaffold possesses good pore structure and biocompatibility,and will possibly become a new biomaterial of TE used for osteochondral repair.
7.Analysis of research integrity management in large hospitals

Research integrity leads the social credit system.for researchers in large hospitals in China,the pressure from clinical work and temptations caused by research outcomes sometimes lead to scientific dishonesty.Strengthening the construction of scientific ethics and maintaining social prestige of science has become an important task for research community in our country.This paper analyzed the causes of scientific dishonesty and explored the ways to improve research integrity in large hospitals,including providing education and training in research ethics,and establishing and strengthening the regulations in research ethics.
8.Construction of performance evaluation system for scientific researchers in Peking University Cancer Hospital & Institute

9.Comparison of ovarian cancer cell lines resistant to cisplatin by different methods

Objective To explore the different mechanisms of to cisplatin (CDDP) resistance in human epithelial ovarian cancer cell lines by two different methods. Methods Two resistant cell lines were established: SKOV3/CDDP-P and SKOV3/CDDP-80. They were induced from epithelial ovarian cancer cell line SKOV3 respectively by pulse and intermittent exposures to cisplatin during the period of 16 months. The biological characteristics of all the cell lines were determined using light microscopy and cell counting. Drug sensitivity was monitored by MTT assay. The cell cycle was examined by flow cytometry. The mRNA expression of MDR1,MRP1,LRP1 and GST-? was determined by RT-PCR. Results The resistance indexes of SKOV3/CDDP-P and SKOV3/CDDP-80 were 4.12?2.01 and 11.50?3.15,respectively. Both the two resistant cell lines had some changes in biological characteristics in which SKOV3/CDDP-80 showed more distinct changes. The expression of MDR1 was up-regulated,and the expression of MRP1 and LRP1 was down-regulated,and the expression of GST-? showed no significant changes inSKOV3/CDDP-P. However,SKOV3/CDDP-80 showed a great increases in MDR1,and there was no significant changes in MRP1,LRP1 and GST-?. Conclusion The results suggest that there are many differences between the two resistant cell lines which involved in multi-gene changes. The intermittent administration has greater trend to develop resistance.
10.Analysis of the reasons for failures in applying to China Natural Science Foundation and suggestions

It is getting very competitive in the application to Natural Science Foundation of China.To improve the chances of success in the application, we summarized and analyzed the peer review opinions for the 91 failed applications from 2004 to 2008. Problems were disclosed for these application projects in scientific significance, research content, research design, novelty, preparative research, research group,and application writing. Countermeasures were proposed for the department of research to improve the application quality.
