The clinical data of 109 patients with rhegmatogenous retinal detachment were retrospectively analyzed and the relationships among retinal detachment，refraction and the shapes of hole in different age groups discussed. The results showed that myopia was more commonly seen in the patients less than 40 years old and the occurrence of myopia was gradually decreased in the patients over 40 years old. Round hole was more commonly seen in the patients less than 40 years old and horseshoe-shaped tears were more often found in the age group of over 40 years old.

Objective To explore and summarize the heart-shape anastomosis for hirschsprung′s disease .Methods Before the operation,the colon was cleaned thoroughly ,31 cases of this group (8 month-6 years old)underwent colonic pull-through and the dilated segment of colon was pulled out and resected.Normal colon and lower segment of rectum′s stomosis were stomosed as heart-shape (higher anterior and lower posterior).After replacing the colon and stomosis ,close the abdomen layer by layer.Results All 31 cases anus sphincter muscle were retained at most degree,so that retained their function of normal defecation .All 31 cases were healed and discharged, without one case with early complications as stomosis fistila,et al.No stomosis stenosis or other late period complication were found in 24 cases with long period follow-up.Conclusions Heart-shape stomosis is a good method for hirschsprung′s disease,especially fitful to the common type and short-segment type and long-segment type with diseased part in sigmoid colon .This method is easy,convenient,no special equipment was needed,easy to be publicized.

ObjectiveTo evaluate the efficacy and safety of combination therapy of tamsulosin and solifenacin for benign prostatic hyperplasia ( BPH ) with overactive bladder ( OAB ).Methods82 patients with OAB and coexisting BPH were randomly divided into tamsulosin group ( n = 38 ) and combination group ( n = 44). The ages were from 50 to 75 y ( averaged, 56.8 ± 8.6). Inclusion criteria: the mean frequency of micturition ≥8 times per day, the frequency of nocturia ≥2 times per day, voiding volume ＜200 ml each time; for the overactive bladder symptom score ( OA BSS), the 3 rd score ＞ 2, total score ＞ 3. The tamsulosin group accepted tamsulosin 0.2 mg once daily, the combination group accepted tansulouxin 0.2 mg and solifenacin 0.2 mg once daily. Both groups were maintained the corresponding therapy for 12 weeks.The international prostate symptom score (IPSS), Qmax, residual urine volume, OAB score and adverse reactions were recorded.ResultsThe values of IPSS ( 19.5 ±2.2 vs 15.6 ±2.4, P =0.027), the voiding symptom score ( 15.6 ± 2.4 vs 3.4 ± 1. 7, P = 0. 022) and Qmax ( 13.7 ± 3.8 vs 16.6 ± 4.1, P = 0. 034 )improved significantly after treatment in tamsulosin group ( P ＜ 0. 05 ). The values of IPSS ( 19.7 ± 2.3 vs 9.7 ± 3.0, P ＜0. 001), the storage symptom score (13.8 ± 1.9 vs 5.6 ± 1.6, P ＜0. 001 ), OABSS (10.3 ±1.8 vs 5.3 ±1.3, P ＜0.001) and Qmax(14.1 ±4.1 vs 17.2 ±3.5, P=0.027) also improved significantly after treatment in combination group ( P ＜ 0. 05 ). The values of IPSS ( 9.7 ± 3.0 vs 15.6 ±2.4, P ＜ 0.001 ), the storage symptom score (5.6 ± 1.6 vs 12.0 ± 1.6, P ＜ 0.001 ) and OABSS ( 5.3 ±1.3 vs 9.7 ± 2.7, P ＜ 0. 001 ) improved significantly in combination group than those in tamsulosin group ( P ＜0.001 ). There were no difference between two groups in values of the voiding symptom score, Qmax and residual urine volume ( P ＞ 0.05 ). The incidences of adverse reactions in tamsulosin group and combination group were 7.9％ (3/38) and 20.5％ (9/44) without significant difference. There was no acute urinary retention in both groups.ConclusionsIt is effective and safe for patients with BPH and OAB to accept combination therapy of tamsulosin and solifenacin.

Objective To explore the feasibility and safety of Mckeown-type minimally invasive esophagectomy in para-recurrent laryngeal nerve lymphadenectomy. Methods A total of 163 cases underwent minimally invasive McKeown resection for esophageal carcinoma in the Affiliated Tumor Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University were retrospectively analyzed. Patients were divided into routine treatment group (n=63), right recurrent nerve lymph node dissection group (right group, n=53) and bilateral recurrent laryngeal nerve lymph node dissection group (bilateral group, n=47) according to the operation modes. The postoperative pathology, operation time, intraoperative bleeding volume, postoperative hospitalization time, number of lymph nodes and pneumonia, anastomotic fistula, laryngeal nerve injury and other complications were compared between three groups of patients. Pathological conditions were consisted of the location of tumor, the degree of differentiation, T stage and pathological stage. Postoperative complications were followed up for 6 months. Results There were no significant differences in tumor location, pathological differentiation degree, T stage and pathologic stage between three groups. The amount of bleeding was more in the routine group than that of the right group and the bilateral group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the amount of bleeding between the right group and the bilateral group. The total lymph nodes and thoracic lymph nodes were increased in order in routine group, the right group and the bilateral group, and there was significant difference between three groups(P<0.05). There were no significant differences in other operation data and complications between three groups. Conclusion McKeown-type minimally invasive esophagectomy shows good feasibility and safety for para-recurrent laryngeal nerve lymphadenectomy .

OBJECTIVE:To prepare Clopidogrel bisulfate tablets,and to optimize its formulation and technology. METHODS:The single factor test and compatibility test were used to optimize the fillers,disintegrating agents,adhesive,lubricants and prepa-ration technology;using sticking situation and disintegration time as indexes,the orthogonal test was used to optimize the amount of disintegrating agents [low substituted hydroxypropyl cellulose(L-HPC)],lubricants(hydrogenated vegetable oil and PEG6000), and the optimal technology was validated. The dissolution of prepared tablet and imported tablet(Plavix)in water,pH 2.0 hydro-chlorate buffer,pH 4.5 phosphate buffer(PBS)and pH 6.8 PBS were investigated,and influential factor test was conducted. RE-SULTS:Clopidogrel bisulfate tablets were prepared with dry granulating. The optimal formulation (1 000 tablets) was as follows as clopidogrel bisulfate 97.8 g,mannitol 84 g,amylum pregelatinisatum 36 g,L-HPC 8 g,hydrogenated vegetable oil 8 g, PEG6000 6 g;no tablet compressing sticking situation was found in prepared tablets and it owned medium disintegration time;ac-cumulative dissolution curves of prepared tablets in 4 kinds of medium were similar to those of Plavix;there were no significant dif-ference in results of influential factor test between prepared tablet and Plavix. CONCLUSIONS:Clopidogrel bisulfate tablets are prepared successfully,and the formulation is reasonable,practical,stable and controllable in quality.

Objective To observe the alteration of bone metabolism and to study the pathogenesis of osteoporosis and factors in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). Methods The biochemical markers of bone metabolism, bone mineral density (BMD) of the lumbar spine and the right femur, parameters of calcaneal quantitative ultrasound(QUS), blood partial pressure and pulmonary functions in 39 male patients with COPD and 30 controls were measured. Results The broadband ultrasonic attenuation (BUA) and the speed of sound (SOS), BMD of the lumbar spines and the femur were significantly lower than that in control group. The biochemical markers of bone metabolism such as HOP/Cr, Ca/Cr, and PTH in the COPD group was significantly raised than that in control group〔(60 2?7 0)dB/MHz vs (66 5?4 9)dB/Mhz,(1 328 4?41 5)m/s vs (1 505 8?26 9)m/s,23% vs 34%,21% vs25%〕. Objective　To investigate the contamination status of Bacillus cereus in food, the profile of virulence factors carried, and drug sensitivity characteristics in Liaoning Province. Methods　A total of 620 samples were isolated from 15 monitoring sites, covering four major sample types of food products in Liaoning Province between 2021 and 2022. Bacillus cereus was isolated and identified by GB4789.14—2014, and its virulence was assessed using PCR detection of the groEL and gyrB genes specific to the bacterial group, as well as 11 other virulence genes. Broth microdilution method was used to detect the antibiotic sensitivity of the strain. Results　All 79 Bacillus cereus strains were found to carry virulence genes. The detection rates of non-hemolytic enterotoxin genes nheC, nheA, and nheB were 100% (79/79), 93.3% (74/79), and 83.5% (66/79), respectively. The detection rate of enterotoxin entFM gene was 98.7% (78/79). The 79 strains of Bacillus cereus carried 19 types of virulence gene patterns, with IX and XVII gene patterns being the most prevalent, each accounted for 16.5% (13/79). The resistance rates of 79 strains of Bacillus cereus to 10 antibacterial drugs were 100% for both ampicillin and penicillin. The resistance rates to cotrimoxazole, imipenem, erythromycin, clindamycin, ciprofloxacin, and tetracycline 65.8% (52/79), 10.1% (8/79), 73.4% (58/79), 60.8% (48/79), 75.9% (60/79), and 70.9% (56/79) respectively. The resistance rates to chloramphenicol and gentamicin were both 0%. Conclusion　Food from catering services in Liaoning Province shows contamination by Bacillus cereus, with isolated strains carrying at least four kinds of virulence genes. About 100% of the isolates were resistant to ampicillin and penicillin, whereas high sensitivity was observed to chloramphenicol and gentamicin. Active monitoring, timely targeted prevention and control interventions should be strengthened to provide a theoretical basis for future traceability studies.

Abstract: Objective　To analyze the molecular serotyping and drug resistance of foodborne Listeria monocytogenes (LM)isolates from the food monitoring network of Liaoning Province, and to provide a reference for identifying and tracing the outbreaks of foodborne diseases. Methods　The Listeria monocytogenes isolates were identified, biochemical typing was conducted by VITEK biochemical identification and PCR amplification techniques were applied for molecular serotyping of 67 strains of Listeria monocytogenes detected from 2 797 food samples collected from 15 monitoring sites across the province during 2021-2022. Verification was performed according to the instructions of the serodiagnosis manual. The sensitivity of the strains to ampicillin, penicillin, meropenem, cotrimoxazole, and erythromycin was determined by broth dilution method. Results　In food from Liaoning Province, the molecular serotypes of Listeria monocytogenes carried were identified as 1/2a(3a), 1/2b(3b, 7), 1/2c(3c), and 4b (4d, 4e), with the predominant serotypes being 1/2a accounting for 62.7% (42/67), and 1/2b accounting for 28.4% (19/67). Among them, the 4b strain was isolated in 3 strains, representing 4.5%. The dominant strains of Listeria monocytogenes in 2021 and 2022 in Liaoning Province were 1/2a(3a) and 1/2b(3b, 7), with the most diverse types carried by meat and meat products. Double resistance to cotrimoxazole and erythromycin accounted for 11.9% (8/67), while resistance to only one cotrimoxazole accounted for 9.0% (6/67). Conclusions　The presence of pathogenic serotypes 1/2a(3a), 1/2b(3b, 7), 1/2c(3c), and 4b (4d, 4e) in food in Liaoning Province and the emergence of strains with one or more drug resistances indicate the existence of food safety issues caused by Listeria monocytogenes, posing a potential risk of listeriosis. There is a need to optimize source tracing methods and strengthen the confirmation of Listeria monocytogenes outbreaks.

OBJECTIVETo demonstrate the effects and mechanisms of Qifu decoction( QFD) on renal interstitial fibrosis (RIF) in model rats with yang-deficiency syndrome.

METHODThe rats were randomly divided into 3 groups, the Sham group (Group A), the Model group (Group B), the Qifu decoction group (Group C) and the Enalapril group (Group D). The RIF model was established by adenine administrated and unilateral ureteral obstruction (UUO) of the left ureter. After the model was successfully established, the rats in Group C and D were administrated with QFD or the Enalapril suspension,while the rats in Group A and B were administrated with distilled water. All rats were administrated for 3 weeks. Before administration and at the end of week 1, 2 and 3, the rats were weighted, and 24 h urinary protein excretion (Upro), urinary β2-microglobulin (Uβ2-MG) and urinary N-acetyl-D-glucosaminidase (NAG) were examined, respectively. All rats were killed after administration for 3 weeks. Blood and renal tissues were collected, renal morphology and tubulointerstitial morphology were evaluated, respectively. Serum cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP), cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), serum creatinine (Scr) and uric acid (UA) were detected, respectively. The protein expressions of E-cadherin, α-smooth muscle actin(α-SMA), transforming growth factor-β1 (TGF-β1), onnective tissue growth factor (CTGF) extracellular signal-regulated protein kinase 1/2(ERK1/2) and phosphorylated-ERK1/2 (p-ERK1/2) in kidney were evaluated, respectively.

RESULTQFD ameliorated serum cAMP level and the rate of cAMP/cGMP, attenuated urinary β2-MG level, NAG level and renal tubulointerstitial fibrosis, increased E-cadherin protein expression, and reduced α-SMA, TGF-β1, CTGF and p-ERK1/2 protein expressions in the kidney. However, QFD had no influence on renal function in vivo. In addition, these effects were better than those of the model rats treated by Enalapril.

CONCLUSIONQFD could alleviate yang-deficiency parameters, as well as urinary β2-MG level and NAG level in model rats induced by adenine administration and UUO. Moreover, QFD could improve EMT and RIF by up-regulating E-cadherin protein expression, and down-regulating α-SMA, TGF-β1, CTGF and p-ERK1/2 protein expressions, the key molecular in ERK1/2 signaling pathway.

OBJECTIVETo study the effect of nano-SiO2 on spatial learning and memory.

METHODSTwenty-four male rats were randomly divided into 3 groups: control group (C group), low dose group (L group) and high dose group (H group). The rats were intragastrically administrated with nanometer particles at 25 and 100 mg/kg body weight every day for 4 weeks. After exposure, the ability of learning and memory of rats was tested by Morris water maze, and electrophysiological brain stereotactic method was used to test long-tear potentiation (LTP) in dentate gyrus (DG) of the rats.

RESULTSThe increase rate of body weight in H group was reduced significantly compared with C group ( P < 0.05). In the space exploration experiment of Morris water maze test, the escape latency of H group was longer than that of C group (P < 0.05). The rats of H group spent less time in finding the target quadrant (P < 0.05) . The rate of LP induction of H group was significantly lower than that of C group (P < 0.05). After high fre quency stimulation (HFS), The changes of amplitude of population spike (PS) of L group and H group were lower than those of C group significantly (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).

CONCLUSIONNano-SiO₂may result in impairment of spatial learning and memory ability by reducing the rate of LTP induction and the increase of PS in hippocampus.
