1.Antitumor efficacy of lymphocytes from hepatic porta lymph node stimulated by staphylococcal enterotoxin A
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(07):-
ObjectiveTo evaluate the antitumor effects of lymphocytes from hepatic porta lymph node co cultured with staphylococcal enterotoxin A(SEA)?MethodsLymphocytes isolated from lymph node of 5 HCC patients were co cultured with SEA. The proliferation and cytotoxicity of the lymphocytes were observed. Flow cytometer was used to detect the expression of CD3?CD4 and CD8 on the surface of the lymphocytes. TNF ? and IFN ? released into the culture medium were measured by the method of ELISA. The results were compared with that yielded from TILs of the individual patients. ResultsCultured in the presence of SEA, there was a sharp rise of T cells, especially CD8 + cells. Cytotoxic activity was increased. TNF ? and IFN ? were predominantly produced in the first week.ConclusionsLymphocytes from lymph node activated by SEA were armed with an increased antitumor efficacy.
2.Advances in the studies of concealed penis.
National Journal of Andrology 2015;21(9):852-854
Concealed penis is usually found in children, which affects the patients both physiologically and psychologically. Some of the patients are wrongly treated by circumcision, which may bring about serious consequences to the sexual life of the patients in their adulthood. In the recent years, this disease has been receiving more and more attention from both doctors and parents. However, controversies remain as to its classification, pathogenesis, pathology, and treatment. This paper focuses on the understanding and advances in the studies of concealed penis.

Chinese Journal of Dermatology 2013;46(10):716-718
Objective To analyze mutations of the STAT3 gene in a patient with hyper-IgE syndrome (HIES).Methods Clinical data were collected and blood samples were obtained from a 14-year-old patient with hyper-IgE syndrome (HIES) and her parents.Genomic DNA was extracted and subjected to PCR for the amplification of the entire encoding and splice sites of the STAT3 gene followed by bidirectional sequencing.Meanwhile, amplified ribosomal DNA restriction analysis was carried out. Results A heterozygous missense mutation A1843G,which caused a K615E substitution, was found in exon 19 encoding the SH2 domain of the STAT3 gene in the patient, but not in either of her parents. The result of amplified ribosomal DNA restriction analysis was consistent with the findings mentioned above. Conclusion The novel K615E missense mutation in the STAT3 gene may contribute to the development of HIES.

Chinese Journal of Marine Drugs 1994;0(01):-
Objective A method was developed for determination of the total triterpene glycosides in different sea cucumbers. Methods A holostane triterpene glycoside called Echinoside A was taken as the reference standard.Triterpene glycosides were reacted with vanillin and perchloric acid. The sea cucumbers were extracted by 60% ethanol and partitioned between water and n-butanol to gain the total triterpene glycosides. The contents of total triterpene glycosides in 11 kinds of sea cucumbers were determined with the standard curve. And the relationships of the triterpene glycosides content among different sea cucumber species, growth environment, process technique, etc.were discussed by the value of TG/P(triterpene glycosides content /protein content). Results The determination wavelength was confirmed to be 560nm and the standard curve was determined as y-1.3414x-0.0077.The ab-sorbance was of a good linearity in the mass range of 0-0.5mg with R2 =0.9994.The recovery of this method was(99.01?2.82)% and the relative standard deviation was 4.68%.Conclusion The method has been proved to be convenient, reliable and suitable for the analysis of triterpene glycosides in sea cucumbers.

Objective To screen the Doc 1R gene recombinant plasmid by use of colony PCR. Method The recombinant colonies were transfered into the PCR reaction mixture. The PCR primers were used for constructing mouse Doc 1R genomic sequence. Result Among the 5, 3 positive strips in the size of 1 500 bp were visible, which were the same as the Doc 1R gene fractions in terms of their sizes were screened as positive clones. The positive colony were further confirmed by double digestion and DNA sequencing. Conclusion Colony PCR is a simple, efficient and reliable technique for screening the recombinant.

Journal of Environment and Health 1992;0(04):-
Objective To assess the effects of air pollution on health of traffic policemen. Methods Sampling and the analysis of air pollution were conducted according to China national standards. 214 traffic policemen were investigated. Of them 149 were working on the streets and 65 were working in the office (taken as the control). Individual respiratory symptoms occupational histories and medical records were obtained using standardized questionnaire. Results The prevalence rates of cough and expectoration excessive phlegm eyes and throat unwell fatigue in policemen working on the streets were significantly higher than that in policemen working in the office and were correlated to the level of air pollution(P

Journal of Environment and Health 2007;0(10):-
Objective To study the adverse effect of house indoor air pollution on children respiratory system health in Lanzhou city. Methods A retrospective questionnaire investigation on 1 700 children respiratory health was carried out in three kindergartens, three elementary schools involving lower grade pupils in three districts in Lanzhou city.At the same time, the information about the home environment of the children and family background was collected.Applying logistic regression model, the influencing factors were analyzed. Results The over-standard rates of indoor air quality were from 12.4% to 43.8% in Lanzhou. In the non-heating period, the over-standard rates of formaldehyde,benzene,SO_2,NO_2,CO and PM10 in indoor air were 22.6%,14.5%,13.3%,12.4%,0% and 23.3% respectively. In the heating period, the over-standard rates of the pollutants were 27.3%,16.4%,34.6%,28.5%,32.3% and 43.8% respectively.Indoor air pollution was statistically associated with children respiratory symptoms and diseases, the related risk factors were someone smoking in home, house decorated, opening windows, ventilation, heating in winter, sharing bedroom and maternal education. The outdoor air pollution was one of the influencing factors. Conclusion Children respiratory diseases and symptoms are related to many air pollution factors, such as outdoor and indoor air pollution, personal characteristic and family factors,so to prevent and control indoor air pollution,a comprehensive way should be taken in Lanzhou city.

Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2014;34(5):611-616
In this paper, we described basic connotations of comparative effectiveness research (CER), expounded the application of CER in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). In addition, on the basis of research practice of Chinese medical treatment for COPD in recent years, we put forward the thought of the junction point of Chinese medicine in CER on COPD from the perspective in screening effective Chinese herbs, establishing treatment program/methods/technologies, and outcomes evaluation.
