Recent studies indicate that the activation of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma (PPARγ) can inhibit the invasion and metastasis of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) by inhibiting proliferation and adhesion of HCC cells,degradation of extracellular matrix and angiogenesis.Therefore,the mechanisms that PPARγsignaling pathway inhibits the invasion and metastasis of HCC may provide help for the clinical treatment,and is expected to improve the survival rate of HCC patient.

Aim To investigate the effects of PB-19 on action potential (AP) of ventricular cells in vitro and ischemia and reperfusion induced arrhythmias in vivo in rats. Methods ① We established the model of isolated rat right ventricular wall and perfused the models with normal Tyrode’s solution and PB-19.Microelectrode was inserted into the cells to record the AP. ② We ligated the left anterior descending coronary artery of rats to study the effects of PB-19 on ischemia and reperfusion induced arrhythmias. 50 rats were divided into 5 groups randomly and were given iv. injection with normal saline and PB-19 of different concentrations respectively. Aim To investigate the effects of bradykinin preconditioning on the damage produced by focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats.Methods Rats were scheduled to undergo middle cerebral artery ischemia-reperfusion by intraluminal suture.Prior to ischemia,bradykinin was pumped into the brain via extra carotid artery and control group was given the same amount of normal saline.The infarct volume、brain water content、permeability of blood brain barrier and histological neuronal changes were evaluated after 2 h ischemia and 24 h reperfusion.Results Compared with other groups, bradykinin preconditioning 15min before ischemia reduced infarct volume、brain edema、permeability of blood brain barrier and histological neuronal damage.Conclusion Bradykinin preconditioning may provide protective effects against cerebral ischemic injury.This protection may be due to the protection of cerebral vasculature and the decrease of infarct volume.

Objective To explore the clinical significance of urine transferrin testing in the diagnosis of early pregnancy-induced hypertension syndrome (PIH).Methods Sixty-eight PIH patients (PIH group) who received treatment from January 2012 to October 2013 were enrolled in this study.Mild PIH was 21 patients,midrange PIH was 24 patients and severe PIH was 23 patients.Meanwhile,68 cases of healthy person were selected as control group.The level of urine transferrin,urea and creatinine were compared between two groups.Results The level of urine transferrin,urea and creatinine in PIH group were significantly higher than those in control group[(3.01 ± 1.82) mg/L vs.(1.29 ± 0.88) mg/L,(13.12 ± 5.51) mmol/L vs.(6.23 ± 3.68) mmol/L,(135.5 ± 62.3) μ mol/L vs.(85.1 ± 38.2) μ mol/L] (P ＜ 0.05).The sensitivity of urine transferrin,urea and creatinine in mild PIH was 76.19％,61.90％,57.14％.In midrange PIH was 75.00％,79.17％,75.00％.In severe PIH was 78.26％,86.96％,73.91％.The specificity of urine transferrin,urea and creatinine was 80.65％,56.45％,58.06％.The sensitivity of different degree of PIH was exceeded 75.00％.The sensitivity of urine transferrin in mild PIH was significantly higher than urea and creatinine (P ＜ 0.05).But the sensitivity of urine transferrin in midrange PIH and severe PIH had no significant difference (P ＞ 0.05).The specificity of urine transferrin was significantly higher than urea and creatinine (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusions Urine transferrin is a good index in diagnosis of early PIH,which can reflect the early injury degree of the renal tubular and glomerular.It has active and important significance for the clinical diagnosis and treatment of PIH.

In present paper,we studied three kinds of method of assay for IL-1:thymocyte proliferation assay;L_(?) cell proliferation assay and pyrogen assay.Stimultaneously we used ~(125)I-UdR in stead of ~3H-TdR.The results show that all of three kinds of method of assay for IL-1 can measure IL-1 activity of supernatants from cultured rat alveolar M? stimulated by LPS in vitro.It suggests that ~(125)I-UdR can incorporate into DNA synthesis of cell and mouse fibroblast cell line L_(?) can response to IL-1 of supernatant from cultured rat alveolar M? stimulated by LPS.

The Au-PDA-Fe3O4 decorated graphene oxide electrode was modified with Prussion blue-secondary antibodies for determination of cancer biomarker α-fetoprotein (AFP) with great sensitivity.Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD) and ultraviolet-visible absorption spectrometry were used to characterize the structure of the material.Greatly enhanced sensitivity for the cancer biomarker is based on a dual signal amplification strategy.First, Fe3O4-PDA-Au used for the biosensor platform increased the surface area to capture a large amount of primary antibodies (Ab1), which resulted in amplification of the detection response.Second, graphene oxide allowed several binding events of PB-Ab2.Enhanced sensitivity was also achieved by introducing the multibioconjugates of Ab2-PB-GO onto the electrode surface through sandwich immunoreactions.The test result shows that there are linear relationships between current and AFP concentrations ranging from 0.005 ng/mL to 1 ng/mL and 1 ng/mL to 20 ng/mL, with the low detection limit (LOD) of 1.0 pg/mL.This immunosensor is simple, low-cost and sensitive and shows a great potential in biomedicine, clinical diagnosis and health examination.
