1.Effect of glucagon like peptide 1 receptor agonist on blood glucose fluctuation and oxidative stress
Clinical Medicine of China 2016;32(8):746-749
Objective Oxidative stress which participates in the development of diabetes and its complications can induce inflammation and increase the damage and apoptosis on cells and tissue by influencing multiple signaling pathways?Blood glucose fluctuation increased oxidative stress and aggravated damage and apoptosis on cells? The roles of glucagon?like peptide?1 ( GLP?1) receptor agonist can improve blood glucose fluctuation by playing multiple system physiological effects, such as,delaying gastric emptying, reducing appetite, food intake and body weight, enhancing glucose dependent insulin secretion, inhibiting glucose dependent glucagon secretion? In addition,GLP?1 can reduce oxidative stress state by reducing the reactive oxygen species, inhibiting oxidase activity,up?regulating anti?oxidative stress genes, increasing the level of antioxidant enzymes.
2.Comparation of gastrointestinal absorption studies of specnuezhenide with salidroside in rats.
China Journal of Chinese Materia Medica 2014;39(6):1107-1110
The experiment was designed to study the mechanism of increasing efficiency of Ligustrum lucidum steamed with wine. Rats in vivo with gastrointestinal perfusion model were used. The contents of salidroside and specnuezhenide in the fluid of gastrointestinal perfusion of rats were measured by HPLC at different time points after dosing. Then the K(a) and absorption percentage were calculated. Specnuezhenide could be detected in the fluid of gastrointestinal perfusion of specnuezhenide. The K(a) of the specnuezhenide and salidroside in the fetal intestines are 0.055 3 and 0.144 2 h(-1) respectively and the total absorptivity are 24.46% and 60.14% respectively after 4 hours. The K(a) in the stomach are 5.70 and 8.26 h(-1) respectively and the total absorptivity are 34.21% and 47.23% respectively after 4 hours. The experiment proved that specnuezhenide can be metabolized into salidroside which is more beneficial for gastrointestinal absorption. The experiment proved that specnuezhenide can be metabolized into salidroside both in the rat's stomach and the fetal intestine and compared with the specnuezhenide salidroside is more conducive to gastrointestinal absorption. The results suggested that the increasing efficiency on liver and kidney of L. lucidum steamed with wine has business with the fact that Specnuezhe nide is more conducive to the body after it is changed into salidroside.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(12):64-66
Objective To explore the current status of physical exercises of patients with primary hypertension and provide basis for selective nursing intervention. Methods Investigation was carried out in 238 patients patients with primary hypertension in a third-grade and first-class hospital in Guangzhou on their physical exercises using the theory of "periodic behavior changing model". The results were ana|yzed. Results Patients who didn't plan to take physical exercises account for 19.3%,who planned to take it was 15.1%,who prepared to take it was 20.2%,who were taking it was 8.8% and who were maintaining it was 36.6%.The age and duration of illness course significantly influence the distribution of taking exercises in different stages, P<0.05.While gender and education background were not important influencing factors. Conclusion We should pay attention to increase the recognition of patients with primary hypertension to take physical exercises autonomously, especially the young and middle-aged patients.

Objective To investigate the survival status of liver cirrhosis patients without upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage after transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS).Methods From 2004 to 2013,15 liver cirrhosis patients without upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage volunteered received TIPS treatment were followed up to find out the difficulty and the success rate of TIPS procedure, the incidence of hepatic encephalopathy, upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage and improving of hypersplenism. Results The success rate of operation was 100%.The average of operation time was 60 minutes.During follow-up,no stent angulation occurred,no gastrointestinal hemorrhage happened and no one died in all 15 patients after TIPS operation. There were four patients with hepatic encephalopathy in eight weeks after operation. The anemia of four patients improved compared with that before operation. Conclusions TIPS is a safe and effective threapy in the prevention of gastrointestinal hemorrhage in the patients with liver cirrhosis accompanied with severe gastroesophageal varices. It may become the primary prophylaxis for liver cirrhosis patients without upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage.

OBJECTIVETo explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture at Zusanli (ST 36) on regulation of intestinal inflammatory reaction in rats with acute pancreatitis.
METHODSFifty-four SD rats were randomly divided into a severe acute pancreatitis (SAP) group, an electroacupuncture (EA) group and a sham-operation (SO) group, 18 cases in each group. 3.5% sodium cholate was used to made SAP model by retrograde injecting in cholangiopancreatic duct. After the success of model making, the EA group was treated with EA at bilateral Zusanli (ST 36) for 30 min. The SO group and the SAP group were fixed at the same time for 30 min without treatment. All the rats were killed at 3 h, 6 h and 12 h after modeling in batches. The pathological changes of pancreatic tissue and intestinal epithelium were observed, and the expression of small intestinal occludin protein and nuclear factor kappa-B (NF-kappaB) were detected by immunohistochemical SP method.
RESULTSThe pathologic score and the expression of small intestinal NF-kappaB p65 at 3 h, 6 h and 12 h after modeling in the EA group and the SO group were significantly lower than those in the SAP group (all P < 0.05), and the expression of small intestinal occludin protein in the EA group and the SO group were significantly higher than that in the SAP group (all P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONElectroacupuncture at Zusanli (ST 36) can alleviate pancreatic injury by reducing the expression of NF-kappaB p65 and enhancing the expression of occludin protein in the intestinal epithelium in the SAP model rats.
