OBJECTIVE:To establish a method for the determination of 1,1-ethanediol diacetate and acetic acid in flurbiprofen axetil. METHODS:Capillary gas chromatography was performed on the column of DB-FFAP capillary column by temperature pro-grammed,the inlet temperature was 150 ℃,flame ionization detector was chosen, detector temperature was 290 ℃,carrier gas was nitrogen at a flow rate of 1.0 ml/min,injection volume was 1.0 μl,and split ratio was 5∶1. RESULTS:1,1-ethanediol diacetate and acetic acid were well-separated;and the linear ranges was 0.78-19.55 g/ml(r=0.999 7)and 7.69-64.11 μg/ml(r=0.999 3),re-spectively;the limits of quantification were 0.78 μg/ml and 7.69 μg/ml,and limits of detection were 0.23 μg/ml and 2.56 μg/ml for 1,1-ethanediol diacetate and acetic acid respectively;RSDs of precision and reprocudibility tests were lower than 3%,and stability test was lower than 5%;recoveries were 97.6%-100.4%(RSD=0.94%,n=9)and 93.6%-100.4%(RSD=0.94%,n=9);and the test results for 3 batches of flurbiprofen axetil were met the specification. CONCLUSIONS:The method is simple, accurate and re-liable,and can be used for the determination of 1,1-ethanediol diacetate and acetic acid in flurbiprofen axetil.

OBJECTIVEThis longitudinal study aimed to investigate the caries status of primary and permanent teeth among 6-year-old children in Sichuan Province from 2010 to 2012.
METHODSA sample that comprised 652 6-year-old children from six different elementary schools (three represented the urban areas, and the other three represented the rural areas) were examined according to a baseline, with follow-up examinations at 1, 2, and 3 years. Eruption and caries experience were re- corded using World Health Organization criteria.
RESULTSThe prevalence rates of primary tooth caries of 6-year-old children in Sichuan Province for 3 years were 74.23% (484/652), 75.61% (493/652), and 81.90% (534/652). The filling rate of the primary teeth was 5.87% (145/2,471) in 2012, with significant differences (P < 0.01) between the urban areas [10.84% (133/ 1,227)] and rural areas [0.96% (12/1,244)]. The total pit and fissure rate of the first molar was 14.11% (92/652) in 2012, with significant differences between the two areas (P < 0.01) [rural: 0.66% (2/303); urban: 25.79% (90/349)].
CONCLUSIONThe pre- valence of caries in the primary and permanent teeth of 6-year-old children was high. An increasing prevalence tendency was observed as the age increased. The prevalence of first molar caries indicated that prevention and control of dental caries should be performed as early as possible.

AlM: To explore the clinical significances and changes of related parameters of corneal endothelial cell in keratouveitis patients before and after treatment.
METHODS:Fifty-two keratouveitis patients ( 52 eyes ) diagnosed and treated in our hospital from October 2012 to December 2013 were collected. Before and after treatment, the related parameters of corneal endothelial cell in all patients were measured with non - contact corneal specular microscope and these parameters were statistically analyzed.
RESULTS: Compared with the normal group, obvious endothelial cell edema and great variation was observed in diseased group. The shorter duration of treatment, the better the recovery of endothelial cells and the fewer cells lose. Conversely, the longer the healing of normal hexagonal cell ratio was smaller, the larger the coefficient of variation. Before and after treatment, the differences of each parameter were statistical significance (P<0. 05).
CONCLUSlON: The functional recovery of corneal endothelial cell has directly relation with disease times.

?AIM: To discuss the application of anterior segment optic coherence tomography ( AS-OCT ) in the diagnosis of corneal ulcer.?METHODS: The cross linear scan was used in 88 patients ( 88 eyes ) with corneal lesion by AS-OCT to gather the image data, observe the pathological changed tissue by measuring all layers for patients with initial inspection, providing important visual images and data for treatments. All the patients were followed up for 2mo.?RESULTS:Clear images with structure of all layers were obtained. It can provide the intuitive image data and scan the same position and show the changes during the treatment.?CONCLUSION: AS-OCT can discover the important condition immediately. It also can monitor course of disease dynamically, provide the intuitive image data for clinical treatment.

Objective To approach the relationship betwe en glycosaminoglycan metabolism in cartilages and pathogenesis of KBD.Methods Rhesus monkey was fed with grains and water from KBD endemic area for 18 months to produce the animal model with KBD . The glyc osaminoglycans in the monkey cartilage were extracted by the improved Dish method of Bitter. Purified glycosaminoglycans were digested with chondroitinaseABC, and the enzymatic digests were analyzed by HPLC. Results Comparing with those of the control, the glycos aminoglycans in the head of femur, tibia plateau and costal cartilage from the Rhesus monkey fed with grains and water from KBD endemic area were undersulfated . Decreased unsaturated 4-sulphated disaccharide (△Di-4S) from the glycosa minoglycans in the head of femur and tibia plateau and decreased unsaturated 6- sulphated disaccharide (△Di-6S) from the glycosaminoglycans in the costal cart ilage were discovered. Conclusions Detrimental factors in grains and water from KBD endemic area cause undersulfate of the cartilages glycosaminoglycans from Rhesus monkey. The glycosaminoglycans changes have a direct bearing on the patho logical alterations in morphology on the cartilages from the animal model with K BD.
