Older people generally had low health literacy, age related cognition decline and some even progress into dementia, burden on society was aggravating. Cognition decline of the elderly could lead to the decrease of health literacy. Meanwhile, higher level of health literacy was a protective factor against cognition decline in the elderly. This paper aimed to explore the relationship between health literacy and cognitive function in the elderly population without dementia, and to provide a theoretical basis for improving the health literacy and cognitive function of the elderly.

Objective To explore the change and the spectra of opportunistic infections in AIDS patients after antiretroviral treatment in He′nan province.Methods Inpatients of post treatment with disease in accordance with the criteria were selected from the Sixth People′s Hospital of Zhengzhou.A retrospective study was carried out, including the content such as gender,age,infection route,treatment time,the date of complication,and CD4+T lympho-cyte counts when the patient with complications.Disease were divided into four group:opportunistic infections,adverse drug reactions,tumor,cardio-cerebrovascular disease and diabetes mellitus.Statistic case number and incidence of every kinds of the disease in the different stages of HAART.Results (1)1 001 cases of patients were involved in the result analysis.People of 41-60 years old,the peasants and peasant workers,accounted for 57.4%and 78.9%.The infection route was mainly through blood transmission and blood collection, accounting for 83.45%.Most of the patients come from Zhumadian, Xuchang, Zhoukou, Nanyang, which were high -incidence area in He′nan.( 2 ) In 1 001 patients of post treatment, the rate of opportunistic infections was 58.4%, while adverse drug reactions was 30.5%.Bacterial pneumonia,extrapulmonary tuberculosis,oral cavity fungal infection and tuberculosis were common in opportunistic infections of patients of post treatment.The main adverse reactions were allergic dermatitis,liver injury and myelosuppression.The liver cancer case was the highest ( 8/29 ) .( 3 ) 1 001 cases were divided into 6 groups according to different count of treatment time,during 3 months of treatment,the incidence rate of opportunistic infec-tions and adverse drug reactions was the highest,accounted for 75.2% and 41.6%.After 5 years of treatment,the incidence rate of cardio-cerebrovascular disease and diabetes mellitus was 6.39%.With the prolonging of HAART time,incidence of opportunistic infections and adverse drug reactions remarkably reduced,but the occurence rate car-dio-cerebrovascular disease and diabetes mellitus increased.Conclusion In AIDS patients after HAART in He′nan at present,opportunistic infections and adverse drug reactions are main diseases and used to occur during three months after HAART.Attention will be focused on tumor, cardio -cerebrovascular disease and diabetes mellitus in AIDS patients of long-term survival.

Objective To observe the alteration of bone metabolism and to study the pathogenesis of osteoporosis and factors in elderly patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary diseases (COPD). Methods The biochemical markers of bone metabolism, bone mineral density (BMD) of the lumbar spine and the right femur, parameters of calcaneal quantitative ultrasound(QUS), blood partial pressure and pulmonary functions in 39 male patients with COPD and 30 controls were measured. Results The broadband ultrasonic attenuation (BUA) and the speed of sound (SOS), BMD of the lumbar spines and the femur were significantly lower than that in control group. The biochemical markers of bone metabolism such as HOP/Cr, Ca/Cr, and PTH in the COPD group was significantly raised than that in control group〔(60 2?7 0)dB/MHz vs (66 5?4 9)dB/Mhz,(1 328 4?41 5)m/s vs (1 505 8?26 9)m/s,23% vs 34%,21% vs25%〕. The oligometastasic stage is an intermediate state with mild biological invasion,in which spread may be limited to specific organs and polymetastases do not occour.The number of metastatic tumors is limited less than five.Local therapy such as radiotherapy,surgery and radiofrequency ablation for the relapsed sites could thus improve patients survival.The expression of miR-200 family characterizes oligometastasis(es).Correct understanding and familiarization with treatment of oligometastasis may change the traditional therapeutic strategy of advanced tumors,and some advanced cancer patients may achieve curable results.

Objective To explore the clinical features of children infected with macrolide-resistant (MR) Mycoplasma pneumonia(MP) isolates and genetic typing of all isolates.Methods Polymerase chain reaction(PCR) of MP positive in 96 nasopharyngeal or bronchoalveolar lavage fluid (BALF) samples were collected from patients diagnosed as MP pneumonia in the Affiliated Children's Hospital of the Capital Institute of Pediatrics from January 2013 to October 2015.Fifty-five cases were male,41 cases were female;19 cases (19.8％) were 1 to 3 years old,18 cases (18.7％) were more than 3 to 5 years old,59 cases(61.5％) were more than 5 to 13 years and 2 months old.These samples were tested for MR associated mutations in the 23S rRNA of MP,and were divided into the MR group and the macrolide-sensitive (MS) group.Furthermore,the genotype of all the isolates were performed by conducting P1-restriction fragment length polymorphism(P1-RFLP) analysis and multiple-locus variable-number tandem-repeat analysis (MLVA) method.The clinical characteristics including the age,gender,hospitalization duration,symptoms,signs,fever duration,fever duration after macrolide therapy,white blood cell count,C-reactive protein (CRP),chest X-ray and/or chest computed tomography,which were compared between different groups.SPSS 11.5 software was used to analyze the statistical data.Statistical significance was determined at the 0.05 level of a two-tailed test.Results MR mutations were identified in the 23S rRNA gene in 81 specimens (84％),and the 96 specimens were divided into MR group(81 cases) and MS group (15 cases).There were statistical differences in fever duration,hospitalization duration,the incidence of complications and CRP level between the MR group and MS group (t =2.061,Z =-3.368,x2 =5.856,Z =-2.165,all P ＜ 0.05).There were no statistical differences in age,white blood cell count,consolidation percentage on chest radiography and fever duration after macrolide therapy(all P ＞ 0.05).All the 96 isolates were performed by adopting P1-RFLP typing,but 5 isolates were not typed successfully,while 81 cases (89.0％) isolates were typed as P1-Ⅰ and 10 isolates(11％) were typed as P1-Ⅱ c.The hospitalization duration and the fever duration after macrolide therapy in the P1-Ⅰ were longer than the P1-Ⅱ c group,and the difference was statistically significant (Z =-2.197,2.237,all P ＜ 0.05).There were no statistical differences in age,fever duration,white blood cell count,CRP level,consolidation percentage on chest radiography and the incidence of complications (all P ＞ 0.05).Seventy-three cases (90％) of P1-Ⅰ group were MR isolates,8 cases (10％) were MS isolates;3 cases (30％) of the P1-]Ⅱ c group were MR isolates,7 cases (70％) were MS isolates.The MR isolates in P1-Ⅰ group were much more than P1-Ⅱ c group.There was obvious statistical difference in the proportion of MR isolates between 2 groups (x2 =19.209,P ＜ 0.01).All the 96 isolates were performed by modified MLVA typing,82 cases(85.5％) were typed as M4-5-7-2,11 cases(11.5％) were typed as M3-5-6-2,1 case (1.0％) was typed as M4-5-5-2,and 2 cases (2.0％) were typed as M4-5-6-2.Because there were less cases of the M4-5-5-2 and M4-5-6-2 type,only the clinical data of M4-5-7-2 and M3-5-6-2 group were compared.The hospitalization duration and the fever duration after macrolide therapy in the M4-5-7-2 group were longer than the M3-5-6-2 group,and the difference was statistically significant(Z =-2.406,-4.472,all P ＜ 0.05).There were no statistical differences in age,fever duration,white blood cell count,CRP level,consolidation percentage on chest radiography and the incidence of complications(all P ＞ 0.05).Seventy-four cases (90％) of the M4-5-7-2 group were MR isolates,8 cases (10％) were MS isolates;4 cases (36％) of the M3-5-6-2 group were MR isolates,7 cases (64％) were MS isolates.The MR isolates in M4-5-7-2 group were much more than M3-5-6-2 group.There was obviously statistical difference in the proportion of MR isolates between 2 groups (x2 =17.022,P ＜ 0.01).Conclusions In the MR group,the children had longer fever duration and hospitalization duration,higher incidence of complications and higher CRP level than those in the MS group.The MR rates of MP in China was high.P1-Ⅰ and M4-5-7-2 are the predominate genotypes.There may be a correlation between genotype and MR.

Purpose:To evaluate the differences in expression of carcinoembryonic antigen mRNA (CEA mRNA) in various tissues and its use in the diagnosis of digestive tract carcinoma.Methods:There were 35 patients with digestive tract carcinoma and 12 patients with non carcinoma disease in the study. The expression of CEA mRNA in the digestive tract tissues specimens was detected with nested reverse transcriptase polymerase chain reaction(RT PCR). A contrast test was detection of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) in blood sepcimen with enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Results:The expression of CEA mRNA in cancer tissues with RT PCR was 29 (82.86%) with positive results and that of CEA in blood with ELISA was 15 (42.86%) in the patients with digestive tract carcinoma. Objective: To compare the effects of synthetic 2 ?(3 hydroxypropoxy) calcitriol(ED 71) with 17 ? Estrodiol(E 2) on bone mass, strength and metabolism in ovariectomized(OVX) mice. Methods: 40 female Kunming mice, average 35 g, were randomly divided into 4 groups: OVX group, Sham group, ED 71 group and E 2 group. The latter two groups were also ovariectomized and given ED 71 at 0.4 ?g/(kg?d) and E 2 at 30 ?g/(kg?d) respectively for 6 w. Bone mineral density(BMD), bone mineral content(BMC), bone strength and bone histomorphometric parameters were measured. Results: Compared with OVX mice, in ED 71 and E 2 group, femoral BMD and BMC increased respectively by 3.8%, 5.9% and 3.2%,5.7%; maximum load of femur increased respectively 18.7% and 16%; trabecular bone volume of lumbar vertebra increased respectively 10.6% and 16.1 and serum alkaline phosphatase decreased respectively by 58% and 37%. Conclusion: ED 71 significantly increased BMD, BMC and bone strengh and significantly inhibited bone turnover in OVX mice. Also ED 71 does not induce uterus proliferation.

Objective To evaluate the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the Newest Vital Sign(NVS). Methods The NVS was translated and back-translated. Cultural adaption of scale was performed by Delphi expert consultation and pilot study. The reliability and validity of the Chinese version of the NVS was tested in 451 Chinese residents. Results Chinese version of the NVS consisted of 6 items with Pearson correlation between item and total score of scale ranging from 0.50 to 0.71. Two factors were abstracted by exploratory factor analysis and explained 61.51% of total variance. Confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fitness of the model was acceptable:comparative fit index was 0.96, Tuker-Lewis index was 0.92, standardized root mean square residual was 0.04, root mean square error of approximation was 0.077. Cronbach α coefficient was 0.71, retest reliability was 0.92. Conclusions Chinese version of the NVS has good reliability and validity, which can be used to test the health literacy of residents in China.

Objective To explore the relationship of hepatitis B virus surface antigen(HBsAg)infec-tion and family history of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)with age at primary liver cancer. Methods Totally 1 359 cases of primary liver cancer were enrolled. Their data of sex,HBsAg status and family history informa-tions of liver cancer were analyzed on the associations with diagnosis age. Results Of the 1 359 cases,1 053 were males and 306 were females,their average age at diagnosis was(54. 02 ± 10. 47)years(20-84 years). Conclusion Cases of primary liver cancer with positive-HBsAg are diagnosed averagely 9. 24 years younger than those with negative-HBsAg in Qidong. Sex and family history of HCC significantly advance hepatocarcinogenesis only in HBsAg positive individuals,not in HBsAg negative individuals.
