Objective To propose a stream-media technology based on the new transmission technology. Methods Firstly,we explored the advantages and disadvantages of exiting PACS image in LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network) and then expounded distance diagnosis related to HIS and PACS,VPN technology, wireless network applications, more points consultation applied technology. At last,we made an analysis of the characteristics of the stream-media transmission technology. Results The characteristics of low bandwidth occupied, high security, and high scalability of stream-media transmission technology fit the needs of PACS development. Conclusion Application of streammedia technology transferred in PACS image provides a new economical and practical technical solution to break through limitation of network bandwidth in medical imaging integrated information, and to thoroughly make use of medical resource.

Objective To improve the recognition of meconium ileus and pseudohypoaldosteronism type Ⅰ and to explore the relationship between neonatal meconium ileus and cystic fibrosis. Methods The clinical and follow-up data of a premature infant with meconium ileus and pseudohypoaldosteronism type Ⅰ was analyzed.Relevant literature was reviewed. Results The child was a very low-birth weight premature infant who didn′t pass meconuim within 24 hours of birth and persistent abdominal distention was noted.Laparotomy was performed on day 4.Thick and inspissated meconium was found in the ileum with perforation. The atretic intestine was resected, and a double-barreled enterostomies was performed. On day 30,the child presented hyponatremia, hyperkalemia, high levels of plasma renin and aldosterone and was given 9 g/L salt supplementation. At 6-month age,9 g/L salt supplementation was discontinued.Anastomosis was performed at 8-month age.The child recovered with a good prognosis whose catch-up growth was obtained at 18-month age and didn′t pre-sent manifestations of cystic fibrosis. Conclusions This case could be diagnosed as meconium ileus and pseudohypoaldosteronism type Ⅰ.The relationship between neonatal meconium ileus and cystic fibrosis is different in China and the regions of Caucasian.

· Vascular endothelial growth factor is indispensable inducing factor in retinalangiogenesis. After the retinal neovascularization of proliferative diabetic retinopathy ( PDR ) patients, it can cause fibrovascular membrane formation, epiretinal membrane fibrosis increased, resulting in traction retinal detachment with further aggravate the condition. The recent research suggests that cytokines promote fibroblast proliferation, movement, adhesion, and secretion of extracellular matrix functions in the diabetic state of the environment changes to profibrogenic state, resulting in the accumulation and fibrosis of extracellular matrix. This paper reviewed the status quo of the correlation between vascular endothelial growth factor and fibrosis-related cytokine.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate antisense technology for human telomerase inhibition in the treatment of endometrial cancer.
METHODSAn antisense oligodeoxynucleotides (AODN) directed against the human telomerase transcriptase (hTERT), designed and synthesized to serve as a telomerase inhibitor, was transfected into endometrial carcinoma cell line HEC-1A by lipofectin. Reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot were used to test the expression of hTERT mRNA and hTERT protein before and after transfection. Telomerase activity was tested by telomeric repeat amplification protocol. The proliferation and growth of HEC-1A were also studied by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium and cell growth curve before and after transfection.
RESULTSAODN could down-regulate the expression of hTERT mRNA and protein, inhibiting telomerase activity and proliferation of endometrial cancer cell line in a dose- and period-dependent manner.
CONCLUSIONAntisense oligodeoxynucleotides of human telomerase transcriptase definitely inhibits the proliferation of endometrial cancer cell line. Telomerase inhibitor may thus become a new gene therapeutic agent for endometrial carcinoma.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of combination of Epimedii Folium and Ligustri Lucidi Fructus on osteoporosis rats induced by retinoic acid.
METHODSixty three-month-old male Wistar rats were randomly divided into the normal control group, the model group, the Epimedii Folium group, the Ligustri Lucidi Fructus group, the combination group of Epimedii Folium and Ligustri Lucidi Fructus and the raloxifene group. The osteoporosis model was established through oral administration with retinoic acid for two weeks. Meanwhile, all of treatment groups were administered with corresponding drugs for three weeks. The contents of serum calcium (Ca), phosphorus (P), alkaline phosphatase (AKP) and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase (StrACP) were detected, and the pathomorphological changes of femurs were observed.
RESULTThe model control group showed much lower contents of serum Ca and P than the normal control group, but with significantly higher AKP and StrACP activity than the normal control group. The femoral head area showed reduced, narrow and sparse trabecular bones, with typical osteoporosis-like changes. Compared with the model control group, all of treated groups showed significant increase in Ca and P contents in serum, and down-regulate AKP and StrACP levels, while trabecular bones became more and wider, and densely interweaved as a reticular formation. Among them, the combination group showed the most significant effect.
CONCLUSIONEpimedii Folium and Ligustri Lucidi Fructus could effectively correct the abnormal bone metabolism and improve pathological conditions of bone tissues, so as to show the anti-osteoporosis effect. The combined application of the two drugs showed a better efficacy.

Boronic acids and their derivatives have been widely used in carbohydrate-sensitive materials because they can selectively bind 1,2-and 1,3-diol compounds, including sugars, to form cyclic boronate esters. In this work, pheylboronic acid ( PBA) moieties were grafted onto the backbone of poly( acrylic acid) ( PAA) through the condensation reaction between aminopheyl-boronic acid and carboxylic acid group of PAA in the presence of EDC/NHS, designed as PAA-PBA. Then the resulting PAA-PBA were assembled with poly ( ethyleneimine) ( PEI) to form PAA-PBA multilayer films. The sensing performance of the PEI/PAA-PBA film to carbohydrate (> 50 μg/mL ) , including glucose, fructose, mannose and galactose, has been investigated by combination of the complementary techniques of quartz crystal microbalance ( QCM ) and atomic force microscopy ( AFM) . It was demonstrated that the multilayer showed higher sensitivity to fructose than glucose, mannose and galactose. The interferences of ascorbic acid, uric acid and dopamine to the recognition of glucose can be avoided and the multilayer sensor with excellent long term stability can be recycled by changing pH value of buffer solutions. This system may be potential in realization of high selectivity and high sensitivity sensing system for probing carbohydrate.
