Abstract: Objective To understand the density changes and seasonal fluctuation of larvae and adults of Aedes albopictus in Hainan Province from 2017 to 2021, and to provide a scientific basis for the prevention and control of dengue fever and other vector-borne diseases in Hainan Province. Methods The Breteau index method was used to monitor the larvae of Aedes mosquitoes, and the breeding sites of all small indoor and outdoor water containers and their larvae was checked and recorded. The adult mosquitoes were monitored by double lamination and light trap. Results A total of 1 962 adult female Aedes albopictus mosquitoes were captured in Hainan Province from 2017 to 2021, accounting for 2.17% of the total captured mosquitoes. There were significant differences in mosquito species composition in different habitats in different years (χ2=312.258, P<0.01). In 2017, the density of mosquitoes in livestock sheds was the highest (9.71 per lamp·night), but the composition ratio of Aedes albopictus was the lowest (1.29%). In 2020, the mosquito density in hospitals was the lowest (2.22 mosquitoes per lamp·night), and in 2019, the proportion of Aedes albopictus in residential areas and hospitals was the highest (3.27% on average). The mosquito density in different habitats was the lowest in 2020. The proportion of Aedes albopictus in residential areas and livestock sheds showed an increasing trend from 2017 to 2021, while the proportion of other habitats showed significant fluctuations. The proportion of Aedes albopictus in hospitals showed an obvious decreasing trend in 2020. From 2017 to 2021, the average mosquito density was 5.97, 4.26, 3.82, 3.39 and 3.68 mosquitoes per lamp·night, respectively, showing a decreasing trend year by year except 2021. Except for 2019, the lure index also showed a decreasing trend, with an average value of 1.5/(hour·net), showing a decreasing trend year by year. From 2017 to 2021, the annual average density of Aedes albopictus in Hainan Province was 0.09 mosquitoes per lamp·night, showing obvious seasonal fluctuation. The Breteau index showed a slow decline from 2017 to 2021, and its annual peak was between June and August, which was 1-2 months later than the peak of adult mosquito density. Conclusions The population density of Aedes albopictus in Hainan shows obvious seasonal characteristics. Mosquito control activities should be carried out according to the seasonal characteristics of mosquitoes to reduce the risk of dengue fever and other infectious diseases.

Objective To construct four types of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) and human serum albumin (HSA) fusion proteins that can be realeased at different rate in vivo by introducing protease cleavage sites between these two moieties. The therapeutic effect and release rate are studied to achieve balanced pharmacokinetics ( PK) and pharmacody-namics ( PD) of GLP-1 and HSA fusion proteins. Methods The gene with different polypeptide joint of GLP-1 and HSA fusion proteins were synthesized by overlap extension PCR amplification, cloned into expression vector pPIC9 and transformed into Pichia pastoris GS115.Then, fusion proteins were obtained by protein purification after being induced by methanol. The preliminary PK and PD of the fusion proteins were studied after purification. Results The fusion protein Gly2-GLP-1-GGGGG-HSA showed no release while Gly2-GLP-1-VTR-HSA, Gly2-GLP-1-SARSVRA-HSA, and Gly2-GLP-1-GRSRVTRSV-HSA showed a slow, medium and fast release rate, respectively, after incubation with furin. In vitro biological activity test results dispalyed that each type of fusion protein promoted insulin secretion of MIN6 cells. In vivo PK test indicated the half-life size of fusion proteins was the largest in Gly2-GLP-1-GGGGG-HSA, followed by Gly2-GLP-1-VTR-HSA, Gly2-GLP-1-SARSVRA-HSA, and Gly2-GLP-1-GRSRVTRSV-HSA.In vivo PD test exhibited hypoglycemic activity that was the highest in Gly2-GLP-1-VTR-HSA, followed by Gly2-GLP-1-SARSVRA-HSA, Gly2-GLP-1-GRSRVTRSV-HSA, and Gly2-GLP-1-GGGGG-HSA.Conclusion GLP-1 can be released from fusion proteins with full activity after the introduction of protease cleavage sites.Releasable fusion proteins at an appropriate release rate have the most balanced PK and PD.

Chinese Journal of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine 2013;33(3):346-350
OBJECTIVETo observe the features of bronchopulmonary lesions in ulcerative colitis (UC) rats and the specificity with Fei and Dachang, thus providing reliance for the theory of "intestinal diseases involved Fei".
METHODSThe UC rat model was duplicated by using rabbit intestine mucosa tissue allergenic model and TNBS-ethanol model. A normal rat group was set up as the control. The pulmonary functions [including inspiratory resistance (Ri), expiratory resistance (Re), forced vital capacity (FVC); FEV. 2/FVC, maximal voluntary ventilation (MVV), forced expiratory flow rate (FEF25% - 75%)], and indicators of liver and kidney functions [serum alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate amino transferase (AST), blood urea nitrogen (BUN), and creatinine (Cr)] were detected in the two groups. The pathological changes of colon, lung, liver, and kidney were observed in the two groups.
RESULTSRats in the model group in both acute and chronic stages had weight loss, mucus and loose stool. Partial rats had such symptoms as dyspnea, shortness of breath, and wheezing. Compared with the normal group, the MW, FVC, FEV0.2 and FEF25% -75% in the acute stage; Ri, Re, MVV, FVC, and FEF25% - 75% in the chronic stage all significantly decreased (P <0.05, P <0.01), and FEV0.2/FVC significantly increased in the model group (P <0.05). The pathological results showed interstitial pneumonia and pulmonary interstitial fibrosis in the model group. But the indicators of liver and kidney functions were all in the normal range. No obvious pathological change was seen in the renal and liver tissues in the two groups.
CONCLUSIONSUC could specifically induce bronchopulmonary lesions. Lung injury was one of UC's intestinal manifestations. The theory of "Fei and Dachang being interior-exteriorly correlated" was demonstrated from the theory of "intestinal diseases involved Fei".

OBJECTIVETo discuss the urine biomarkers in 1,3-butadiene exposed workers, and to provide basement for establishing biological limit value.
METHODS44 BD exposed workers as exposure group and 25 BD non-exposed people as control group including 12 workers in boiler workshop in the same factory and 13 people in one public institute, we collected their in-end-of shift urine, then detected urine BD-derived mercapturic metabolites [3,4-dihydroxybutyl mercapturic acid (DHBMA),1- and 2-monohydroxy-3-butenyl mercapturic acid (MHBMA)] concentrations using UPLC-MS/MS method. Meanwhile, we detected air BD concentration with GC-FID in the workplace, and compared their relationship.
RESULTSlgDHBMA and lg (MHBMA + DHBMA) levels in exposed group (lgDHBMA: 2.51 ± 0.44) µg/L, lg [MHBMA + DHBMA: (2.68 ± 0.27) µg/L] were higher than which in control group (lgDHBMA: (2.20 ± 0.25) µg/L, lg(MHBMA + DHBMA: (2.49 ± 0.34) µg/L), and the differences were significant (P < 0.01). Urine DHBMA was obviously influenced by air BD concentrations (r = 0.539, P = 0.001). The equation of Multiple Regression Analysis was y = 2.417 + 0.520x (x represents air BD dose, and represents urinary DHBMA level). Adjusted R(2) of this model was 0.262. Urinary MHBMA was not affected by smoking, alcohol and years of works.
CONCLUSIONUrine metabolite DHBMA in BD-exposed workers might be major biological exposure indice.

Objective To investigate the prognostic sequelae in neontes with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE) and ven-tricnlar dilatation. Methods Seventy-six full term newborns infants with HIE were followed up at the age from 3 to 19 months after therapy. Twenty-five infants among them were followed up by telephone in the epidemic period of SARS.Results Among 76 infants of 88 newborn infants with HIE(84.6%), 73 infants were normal (96.1% ). 1 infant had cerebral palsy (1.3%), 2 infants died (2.6 %).Among 39 cases with mild HIE, none of them had cerebral sequelae; among moderate HIE. 1 infant had cerebral palsy (2.9%) 1 infant died (2. 9 %), interlenkin-4 among severe HIE 50 % died (P00.5 The poor outcome of HIE in those infants were related to intrauterine growth retardation, severe birth asphyxia;and inadequate treatment.Cranial ultra-sonography of 49 infants were done on follow-up,and 12 of them (24.5 % ) had ventricular dilatations, which appeared after birth with 6 infants. Others occurred on follow-up with 1 infant had cerobral palsy, all ventricular dilatations recovered to normal at 12- 19 months except the cerebral palsy. Conclusions The poor outcome of HIE depends on the infants with intranterine growth relarda-tion,severe birth asphyxia and inadequate treatment. The prognosis of transient ventrealar ddatation are good except cerebral palsy.J Appl Clin pediatr,2004,19(12) : 1045- 1047
