Objective To explore the psychomotor development in 12 month old infants born after in vitro fertilization with a control group of infants concieved naturally. Methods A matched control study was performed on psychomotor development of 12-month-old infants concieved with use of assisted reproductive technology(in vitro fertilization only). The control group was matched according to maternal age, parity, social class and level of parental education. The suitable mothers were invited to participate at the 28th week of gestation and were followed up to delivery. The infants of the two groups were followed up to 12 months old and a formal developmental assessment was done with the Children Development Center of China(CDCC) scales of infant development. Results The incidences of preterm birth, low birth weight and twin pregnancy were significantly higher in the assisted conception group. No statistically significant difference was found in the mental development index and psychomotor development index between assisted conception and control groups. Conclusions The levels of psychomotor development in 12 months old infants born after in vitro fertilization are normal. But as the incidences of preterm birth, low birth weight and multifetation are significantly higher in vitro fertilization group,it need to follow up the ongoing development of these children.

0.05). Conclusion Enough high-purified LECs can be isolated by collagenase digestion procedure followed by immunomagnetic beads sorting. Post-thawed endothelial cells are proved to have high vitality and growth potential in vitro without significant morphological changes. Cryopreserved LECs may serve as a cell choice for research of lymphangiogenesis and lymphatic patterning.

Compared with normal tissues and cells, the tumor microenvironment has significant differences. For example, glutathione-related metabolic enzymes and reactive oxygen species are highly expressed in different subcellular structures, resulting in an unbalanced redox state. Aiming at the specific redox state in tumor tissues and cells, a series of small molecule prodrug self-assembled nanoparticles can be designed and connected by intelligent response linkers including disulfide bonds, sulfide bonds, and selenium bonds, thioketal bonds, etc. The

Because of the population aging, the increase of the stroke patients and the need for rehabilitation, the treatment only in the rehabilitation department of the hospital is far from the satisfaction of people's demands of the service of rehabilitation. It is important to extend the community-based rehabilitation.Compared with the rehabilitation in hospitals,it is more economy, efficiency and convenience for stroke patients in community-based rehabilitation services, and further improve the rehabilitation effect of stroke patients.

The technique of liquisolid compress is a new technique developed in 1990s, which was considered to be the most promising technique to improve the dissolution of water-insoluble drugs. In this article, tanshinone II(A) and the extracts of the ester-solubility fractions were chosen as the model drugs to evaluate the effects of the liquisolid technique for enhancement of dissolution properties of tanshinone II(A). Several liquisolid tablets (LS) formulations containing different dosage of drugs and various liquid vehicle were pre-pared and for all the formulations, microcrystalline cellulose and silica were chosen as the carrier and coating materials to evaluate their flow properties, such as angle of repose, Carr's compressibility index and Hausner's ratio. The interaction between drug and excipients in prepared LS compacts were studied by differential scanning calorimetry(DSC) and X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD). The dissolution curves of tanshinone II(A) from liquisolid compacts were investigated to determine the technique's effect in improving the dissolution of tanshinone II(A) and its impacting factors. According to the results, the dissolution increased with the rise in the dissolution of the liquid-phase solvent. The R-value and drug dosage can significantly affect the drug release, but with less impact on active fractions. This indicated that liquisolid technique is a promising alternative for improvement of dissolution property of water-soluble drugs, and can make a synergistic effect with other ester-soluble constituents and bettern improve the release of tanshinone II(A). Therefore, the technique of liquisolid compress will have a better development prospect in traditional Chinese medicines.

Objective To analyze the differences in microRNA (miRNA) expression between A549 and A549/DDP cells and explore the association between miRNA expression and drug resistance in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).Methods The drug resistance of A549/DDP cells was evaluated using CCK-8 assay and flow cytometry.Microarray technique and RT-PCR were used to analyze the differential expression of the miRNA between A549 and A549/DDP cells.Enforced or inhibited target miRNA expression in cisplatin resistant cell was used to investigate whether miRNA involve in modulating the sensitivity of NSCLC cells to chemotherapeutic agent, exploiting the emerging knowledge of miRNA for the development of new human therapeutic applications for overcoming anticancer drug resistance and trying to discover biomarkers that were better able to predict the cancer chemotherapy sensitivity. Results The drug resistance index of A549/DDP cells relative to the parental A549 cells was 18.Microarray analysis of A549 and A549/DDP cells identified 51 differentially expressed genes (≥4-fold),including 24 up-regulated and 27 down-regulated genes in A549/DDP cells.RT-PCR identified 9 miRNA that were differentially expressed between A549 and A549/DDP cells.Of these differentially expressed miRNA,miR-376c,miR-31,miR-29a,miR-221 showed significantly increased expression, and miR-196a,miR-20a,miR-20b,miR-17,miR-451 showed significantlylowered expression in A549/DDP cells as indicated by the results of microarray analysis and RT-PCR.DDP sensitivity was increased 11.7 % in A549/DDP cells transfected with miR-17,but the chemosensitivity was decreased when miR-451 was over-expressed or miR-29a was inhibited by selective inhibitor, the reduction was 15.5 %,12.9 %,respectively, whereas chemosensitivity did not change when miR-376c,miR-31,miR-221 were inhibited or miR-196a,miR-20b,miR-20a were over-expressed.Conclusion A549/DDP cells show a different miRNA expression profile from its parental A549 cells, suggesting the involvement of miRNA in tumor cell drug resistance.miR-17 has the potential to be an efficient agent for preventing and reversing DDP-resistance in NSCLC.These results provide a strong rationale for the development of miRNA-based therapeutic strategies aiming to overcome cancer cell resistance.

Objective To investigate drug resistance mechanism of aminoglycoside-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii by detecting 16S rRNA methylase gene and three common genes of aminoglycoside-modifying enzymes in Acinetobacter baumannii infected patients at EICU. Methods The 48 Acinetobacter baumannii strains were collected, and antimicrobial susceptibility tests were performed by VITEK automicroscan. The MIC was detected by 2-fold agar dilution method, and genes were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction( PCR) . Results Among 48 strains,28 were highly resistant to aminoglycosides and 20 showed lower resistances. The 16S rRNA armA,APH(3')-I,ANT(3'')-Ia,AAC(6')-Ib genes were detected in 71. 43%,60. 71%,82. 14%, and 53. 57%of the 28 highly resistant strains, but only present in 0. 00%,0. 05%,0. 05%,and 0. 05%of the low-resistant isolates(P<0. 01). Conclusion The aminoglycoside-modifying enzymes and 16S rRNA methylase were frequently found in Acinetobacter baumannii clinical isolates, which is closely related to the high-level resistance to aminoglycoside antibiotics.
