Objective To understand websites of public hospitals in China. Methods Website search and appraisal were called into play to analyze the percentage and present conditions of websites built by public hospitals in Shanghai,Hubei Province and Gansu Province.Rusults The study found websites in less than 55% of the public hospitals in these three areas. Those websites in operation provide instant information on hospitals and medical services, yet their online service functions are less satisfactory and website levels vary sharply. Conclusion The authors recommend the Chinese government encourage public hospitals to build websites and enhance their online services.

Journal of Applied Clinical Pediatrics 1986;0(01):-
Objective To analyze the genetic model of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD).Methods The segregation analysis and polygenic multiple threshold model were used to prove the polygenic model and to estimate the heritability and recurrence risk of ADHD in each degree relatives. Results 1. The average heritability of ADHD was (102.47?9.78)%;2.The first-degree relatives of probands were in high risk for ADHD(23.0%)compared with colony prevalence rate(2.6%). The ADHD prevalence of each degree relatives rapidly decreased with the increased magnitude of consanguineous relationship of each degree relatives and ADHD probands. Conclusions The genetic model of ADHD is the most likely polygenic inheritance with major genes, which suggested that the genetic factor might play an important role in the liability variance of ADHD.Apart from the involvement of multiple genes, each gene contributes a small additive effect, and the major genes may be involved as well.

Objective:To explore the effects of Bailing capsules combined with salvianolate on inflammatory cytokines, renal vas-cular endothelia and renal function in diabetic nephropathy inⅣphase. Methods:Totally 60 patients with diabetic nephropathy in IV phase were randomly divided into the control group (30 cases) and the treatment group (30 cases). The control group was given the conventional and salvianolate therapy, and the treatment group was treated with Bailing capsules additionally. The treatment course was 3 months. The changes of serum creatine(SCr), urean itrogen (BUN), creatinine clearance rate (Ccr), ethelin (ET-1), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor (TNF-a) and C-reactive protein (CRP) were detected before and after the treatment. Results:After the 3-month treatment, SCr, BUN, IL-6, TNF-a, CRP and ET-1 were significantly decreased in the two groups with statistical signifi-cance, and Ccr was significantly increased in the treatment group (P<0. 05), and the changes in the treatment group were significant-ly better than those in the control group (P<0. 05). After the treatment, the blood glucose, blood lipids, glycosylated hemoglobin and the other indicators had no significant changes in the two groups (P>0. 05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse drug reactions between the two groups (P>0. 05). Conclusion:The combination of Bailing capsules and salvianolate can re-duce the inflammatory reaction and improve renal vascular endothelial function and renal function in the patients with diabetic nephrop-athy in Ⅳ phase with promising safety and few adverse reactions.

HIF-1 is composed of HIF-1α and HIF-1β subunits. It promotes target genes transcription under hypoxia and plays essential roles in cell development, physiological adaptations, and pathological processes. In the past 10 years, the research on signaling pathways of HIF-1 in response to cell hypoxia stress, especially on HIF-1α-mediated gene transcription has made great progress.

Objective To observe the influence of traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Five-element music combined with language induction on the psychological status and quality of life among maintenance hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 66 maintenance hemodialysis patients were divided into the Five-element music group (n=34) and the routine care group (n=32) according to date of hemodialysis. The routine group accepted routine care. The music group accepted the intervention of traditional Chinese Medicine Five-element music combined with language induction on the basis of routine care. Four weeks later, the changes of Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale (HAD), the MOS item Short From Health Survey (SF- 36) were observed to assess the effect before and after the intervention. Results HAD comparison in the group: After 4-week intervention, in Five-element music group, the depression and anxiety score of HAD and HAD total score were 3, 5, 9 (meadian score), which had improved significantly than before, which were 4, 7, 12 (meadian score), the difference was significant (Z=-2.645,-2.927,-3.220, P<0.01) . After 4 weeks, in the routine group the depression and anxiety score of HAD and HAD total score showed no significant change than before (P>0.05). SF-36 comparison in groups: After 4-week intervention, in Five-element music group, the physical, physiological function, overall health, energy status, social function, emotional function, mental health factors of SF-36 scored 63, 88, 74, 41, 75, 75, 100, 80 (meadian score), which had improved significantly compared with before, which were 45, 0, 68, 40, 58, 75, 17, 72 (meadian score), the difference was significant (Z=-3.895--2.027, P<0.01 or 0.05), body pain and mental health factors had no significant difference (t=-1.785,-1.576, P>0.05). After 4 weeks, the routine group′s each factor score had no significant difference compared with before (P > 0.05). Conclusions TCM Five-element music has a certain effect on improving the psychological status and the quality of life of the patients in maintenance hemodialysis.

Objective:To investigate the factors and mechanisms in forming uric acid stones in patients with type 2 diabetes (T2DM).Methods:106 patients with diabetes were divided into observation group and control group according to the combination of urinary calculi,53 cases in each group,The differences of clinical data and biochemical indexes between the two groups were compared,The relationship between type 2 diabetes mellitus and urinary stones was analyzed by multi factor regression analysis. Results:There were no significant difference in observation group and control group in age,sex,SBP,DBP,TC,FBG,2hPBG and HbA1C (P>0.05),and there were of statistical difference significance in BMI,urinary pH,HOMA-IR,SUA,TUA in the two gruops (P <0.05) and the Logistic regression analysis showed blood uric acid, the urinary pH,HOMA-IR,SUA were independent risk factors in urolithiasis in T2DM (P < 0.05).Conclusion:High uric acid hematic disease, high uric acid excretion, insulin resistance, overweight or obesity, high blood triglycerides in patients with type 2 diabetes is risk factors for urinary stone formation,in which blood uric acid, urinary pH,HOMA-IR is the independent risk factor for type 2 diabetic patients with urinary calculi.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the significance of Rac subfamily members in the gastrointestinal carcinogenesis and progression.
METHODSThe mRNA expression of Rac1, Rac2 and Rac3 in 12 kinds of gastrointestinal cancer cell lines was examined by semi-quantitative RT-PCR. The activities of Rac1 protein in 5 kinds of gastric cancer cell lines were tested by pull-down assay.
RESULTSCompared with the normal gastric mucosa and intestinal epithelial cell line, the mRNA expression of Rac1 and Rac3 was up-regulated in most of gastrointestinal cancer cell lines. The activities of Rac1 protein increased markedly in gastric cancer cell lines.
CONCLUSIONThe increased mRNA expression of Rac1 and Rac3 in gastrointestinal cancer cell lines and the abnormal activation of Rac1 protein in gastric cancer cell lines might be correlated with the carcinogenesis of gastrointestinal cancer.
